Fantasy Spirit Animals

[Calibutcher]

"Of course the drink is on me. Hey Pilot Lets GO!" The VTOL takes off soon after and we feel the force of the speed as we are pushed back into our seats from the acceleration. "So any ideas how you wanna catch your horse? I got some rope and stuff If you want to try that. "

 

[Isune]

Darron shook his head as he said,"No ropes, it's gonna be all natural." He then smiled he took another drink and said,"Besides, I might be able to ride him or her back to the jet."

 

[Calibutcher]

"Oh well then I guess your just a natural horse rider. Have you ever ridden a horse before?"


Just then the intercom comes on. " this is your pilot we'll be arriving at the LZ in just a few minutes."

 

[Isune]

Darron shook his head and said,"The last time I've rode a horse was back at my cousin's ranch...ten years ago." He then heard the announcement over the intercom and said,"Well looks like we're almost at the thirty minute mark."

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare stands up and goes to the back of the plane and grabs onto an over head handle. "Pilot open the aft hatch, Darron hold onto something!" As the aft hatch begins to open. Amare grabs an intercom device. Pilot take us over the herd. " I think you owe me a nickle!"

 

[Isune]

Darron sighed as he dug through his pockets for the nickle and placed it on the table. He then looked down at the group of horses and seemed to be drawn to a large stallion with brown and black fur. He looked down at it and like a kid at a pet shop, he pointed to the horse and said,"That's the one."

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare takes the Nickle and flicks it out the back. " that's for your stallion. Pilot take us a 100 yards ahead of the herd."


Pilot "Rodger that beginning decent"

 

[Isune]

Darron waited for the jet to fully stop and he quickly walked outside and attached the SAT phone to his belt loop and said,"Alright, let's go find my spirit horse."

 

[Calibutcher]

"Well let's go. I'll get you close but after that I'm just gonna sit back and watch unless you call for me" Amare leads the walk stalking through the trees avoiding things that would make to much noise

 

[Isune]

Darron nodded as he followed close behind Amare and said,"Don't worry, I can probably just talk to him...right?" He could then see the horses and the larger stallion. He then took a deep breath and said,"I think I'm gonna go for it."

 

[Calibutcher]

Amare wasn't really paying attention He liked being in the woods and watched Darron go try and talk to his horse he found a comfy spot to sit on the ground, He knew this should be pretty amusing. He leaned against a tree but something caught his eye. Off to the right he saw a blur. He sat up and looked around he didn't see anything but could feel eyes watching him. He closed his eyes focusing and listening.... He could sense something.

 

[Isune]

Darron walked over to the horses and watched as all of the group back up, all except for one. It was the same horse that Darron had pointed to earlier, and it was much larger than when they were looking at it. He slowly approached the horse who seemed to be trying to size Darron up. Before Darron could even speak the large horse trotted closer to him and said,"What might you want today child?" Darron instantly froze and looked to Amare for some kind of help.

 

[Calibutcher]

Eddie was waiting still at the zoo to hear back from the two who had left earlier. He wondered what kind of luck they where having so far remembering the trouble his Ibex Tallahu had caused him. He looked over to Tallahu who was just coming up to him. Tallahu had a troubled look on his face. "whats up mate?" Eddie asked


Tallahu responded "we were expecting more then 2 where are the others?" Eddie replied "well this wouldn't be the first time some people dropped out eh" Just then Eddie got a text he pulled out his phone read the message tucked it back in his pocket and said "Yes we are expecting more but lucky for us one more is on there way now, a girl named Niko Carter she should be pulling up any minute now" Eddie put his hand on Tallahu's Head giving it a little scratch Eddie said " I feel good about this group.... I just hope they make it all right. It is too tough for some after all." Tallahu butted Eddie gently in the leg cheer up they'll find a way the good ones always do." They waited in silence for the new arrival.


 
As Amare was deep in focus swearing he could feel something he opened his eyes suddenly remebering Darron was alone in a field with a bunch of Horses. He looked and saw Darron in front of one rather Large horse all the others horses had moved of. And it sounded like the horse was talking to him? Amare yelled to Darron "well hop on or something its a good thing if he's talking to you right?"

 

[Isune]

Darron almost walked back over to smack Amare in the head, but turned back to the stallion as he said,"Forgive me, but I would like to make you my spirit animal. Would you be okay with that?" The stallion remained silent for a moment and said,"I suppose so." Darron then slowly walked over and began to rub the Stallion on the head, he then smiled at Amare and said,"I can't believe that worked."

 

[Church Burning]

Niko pulled up in an army jeep, some shades on. She hopped out and looked around, smiling. "Wow.." She said, putting her shades away in her pocket. She walked up to a man and an Ibex. "Hi, I'm Niko Carter. Are you Eddie by any chance?" She asked.


(Jamaican accent)

 

[Calibutcher]

"What that's it!? I thought this was supposed to be..." he trailed off something was watching him and it was close really close He jumped up and turned around. There was a Servel but it was to late it was already pouncing at him. Amare raised his arm to block his face only to get a nasty bite on his arm. He threw it off and started running toward Darron holding his arm which had not started bleeding yet strangely but it sure hurt. He couldn't help yelling "OW freak is it behind me!" not wanting to look back yet. he could guess it was though. "Dude help me"


 
Eddie was delighted to see the new comer. "why yes I am. we are glad you could make it. If we hurry we might be able to catch you up to the other group still. So without delay this is of course the worlds Zoo! perhaps my favorite place!" Tallahu cut him off "we need to hurry and get her through." Eddies smile dropped a little but picked back up " your right of course Tallahu you just know how I love introductions. Well Niko this first part is simple Pick any 3 animals you would like to see at this Zoo there's a map just inside and then go see them, Come back then and tell me how it was. Any questions?"

 

[Isune]

Darron was surprised on how civilized this stallion was. He mindlessly continued to rub his head and mane until he heard Amare running behind him and his new companion. Both he and the stallion snapped out of their almost trance like state and quickly turned both of their heads to see the cat hop out from where Amare hid out. The horse quickly moved in front of Darron and let out a powerful snort and slammed its hoof down as a sign that Darron and Amare were under his protection.

 

[Church Burning]

"No.." She said, looking at the map. "I think snakes, Tigers and monkeys are my three!" She smiled, looking up at him.

 

[Calibutcher]

After what felt like the longest 50 yards Amare had ever run he got to Darron and the stallion his arm now bleeding plenty. getting behind Darron's stallion he saw the Servele still coming but decided to do something about his wound while he had a moment He tore a piece of his shirt off and wrapped it tightly around his wound. The bleeding slowed but he winced as he tightened it. He thought this is gonna leave a mark for a while. His thought was interrupted by a snort from Darron's stallion.

 

[Isune]

Darron's new horse stepped closer, clearly asserting his dominence towards the Servele. Darron looked around for a moment and quickly grabbed a large dead branch off of the ground and held the sharper tip in front of himself much like a spear. He then backed up towards Amare and said,"Hey, are you okay? That's one brave horse."

 

[Calibutcher]

Tallahu spoke this time "Well get going before Eddie has any more to say to stop you about his grandeous introductions! And hurry!" Tallahu basically pushed Niko through the entrance.

Niko laughed and went on her way into the zoo. She saw the monkeys but they all ignored her. She huffed and walked to the Tigers. One glanced at her but then looked away. She finally made it to the snakes. She passed all the normal ones without anything occurring until she reached the Black Mambas cage. It looked at her with interest and she looked at it. It booped the wires of the cage with its nose and hissed, staring into her eyes. She blinked quickly and walked away.

 

[Calibutcher]

"Ya I'll be fine" Amare said wincing slightly "eventually anyways, I've had worse.... I think...." Amare began walking around the stallion and looked the Servel in the eye. "what the heck was that for!? I didn't do anything to you!" Amare was shouting. The Servel blinked took a couple steps back and sat much like a dog which was an odd site. It then said 4 words. "you...sat....my...tree" the words were broken and spoken in a growl almost. Amare was stunned "all that becasue I sat by your tree?" The servel nodded it was a awkward sudden nod and then said "Special tree...My tree." Amare walked closer to the Servel. "can I make your tree better?"


The Servel stood up suddenly "Help me yes!" it spun in a excited circle and said "follow" and started walking back to the tree.


Amare looked at Darron "why did you get off so easy?"

Tallahu had actually followed Niko in the zoo. He seldom went in there because people sometimes mistook him as an escaped animal. But he wanted to see what it was like from a humans perspective to first be introduced to your pair. He saw Niko in front of the Black Mamba cage. She was staring it seemed and so was the snake. A Match perhaps he mussed. He then walked over to Niko giving a slight bleet to get her attention. "it seems you have a new fan best get back to Eddie quick so he can get you on your way."

 

[Isune]

Darron watches as the Servel began to speak! He then smiled as he lowered the branch and his horse seemed to be calming down as well. He then smiled as he told Amare,"Because my horse is civilized, and he doesn't talk like a caveman." He then chuckled as he rubbed his horse on the head and asked,"Do you have a name?" The stallion nodded and said,"Yes child, my name is Amado." He then nudged Darron lightly as he said,"Okay Amado, can I ride on your back? Just this once?" Amado had a irritated look on his face as he lowered himself low enough for Darron to hop onto his back as he said,"Just this once child." He then slowly trotted after Amare.

Niko nodded and headed back to Eddie. "Okay! Tallahu said to come back here after I had looked at the animals" she said with a smile.
