Max frowned as she heard him begging the medic to let her see him "Please he needs me! He wont calm down if he doesnt see that I'm here!" She yelled through her sobs

Michael smiled wide and hugged her back "It has been a bit huh? Ive been alright, wanted to see how you were doing. I heard the trial was today." He explained watching her a bit. He was glad he was still on good terms with her even with the shit Max did, but he had forgiven her a while ago and came to terms with the situation.

"Ma'am, he's not even aware of who anyone is. Please let us do our jobs so we can keep him alive. You need to stay out of there." He told her much firmer this time then ent back in himself and worked with the team until they were getting ready to go to the hospital

Carmen smiled and shrugged a little, "Yesh... Didn't go great but it could have been worse too." She told him and thanked the new girl behind the counter when she passed Carmen her food she'd ordered "Alright, I better head home and get some more bed rest in which I'm supposed to only be doing," She smiled

Max frowned and whimpered softly befote she made her way to her car and rushed after the ambulance to get to the hospital in record time

Michael nodded giving her a soft smile "Well you let me know if you need help with anything alright? Dont hesitate." He said honestly giving a hug again before he let her go

Carmen thanked him and said bye then left him to it and she headed home, eating quietly and going to lay down when she started not feeling very well guessing that all the stress was finally getting to her and getting to be too much.

Jon was in and out for several hours before he finally woke up set up in a room not knowing what was going on just knowing that he was in a lot of pain

Max came in and took his hand in hers letting a few tears fall as she looked at him "Hey.." she whispered taking deep breaths

Tom called Carmen leaving a voicemail to tell her the next trial date

She got up in the middle of the night and wandered over to her phone on the coffee table, picking it up and sat down on the couch, seeing the voicemail and thinking he would be the best person to call, “Tom... could you come over? I think somethings wrong.” She whimpered a little. “I feel really bad. I can’t catch my breath and the babies aren’t moving much.” She whimpered starting to cry a little as she got scared.

“What’s going on? Why are we here?” He mumbled. “Where’s Lana?” He asked feeling real confused

Max frowned more and shook her head some "At the hospital baby, Lana is with your mom." She said softly kissing the top of his head "Its okay, Jon you gotta stay calm."

Tom groaned softly hearing his phone ring. He answered and quickly got up when he heard what Carmen said "I'll be there in five minutes." He said quickly just throwing on his pants rushing to her house.

Jon groaned a little and just lay there watching her. “What happened?” He asked her and took her hand in his tightly, desperately.

Carmen was sat on the couch feeling really sick and he stomach just didn’t feel right but she waited as patiently as she could for Tom to arrive.

Max took a deep breath anf wiped her tears "You were sick and hallucinating. I had to call the ambulance." She explained softly

Tom got there and got the spare key out unlocking the door. He rushed oclver when he saw her on the couch frowning when he saw how bad she looked "Can you walk?" He asked softly

He frowned some and just watched her. “I don’t wanna be like this anymore.” He whimpered shakinga little until his doctor popped in and asked to speak to max quickly.

Carmen shook her head not able to talk either she was in so much pain leaning forward and leaning heavily on him just trying to breathe through it.

Max nodded softly and kissed his cheek "We'll figure something out." She whispered before she got up to speak with the doctor "Whats the damage?" She asked quietly

Tom nodded and went to grab a towel before he picked her up carrying her quickly to the car "Alright, I'll get you help okay?" He assured her handing her to towel if she needed it before he quickly sped off to the hospital

He frowned some and looked at her. “When did he stop taking his medication?” He asked her frowning. After the damage done to him from all the stabbings he was on 10 pills a day to keep his body functioning as it should. And there was absolutely no trace in the slightest in his system.

Carmen whimpered a little and just tried her best to stay calm u til they arrived and she watched him rush inside before a doctor came out with a wheelchair for her, getting into it carefully as possible but moments later fainted.

Max went wide eyed and shook her head some "I...I had no idea." She said quietly "I'll get to the bottom of it."

Tom rushed inside after the doctor as they got her into the ER quickly "I gotta help please!" He said to a nurse beyond scared for her right now.

He nodded some. “I understand that he’s fragile currently but what his body went through wasn’t a simple scrape and bruise... he sustained a lot of permanent damage that needs to be watched. The good news though is that what he has got is a viral infection and the only reason it’s hanging around is because hes left his body defenceless by not taking any of his meds.” He told her then let her go back in.

Toms partner got the phone call in the morning that Tom would be in late that morning and after explaining why he went straight to the cells and banged on the bars to wake Charlie up.

Max nodded amd walked back int9 the room looking at Jon "Why havent you been taking your medicine?" She asked as calm as possible but she was absolutely furious at the moment

Charlie groaned loudly and got up walking over to the door thinking it was time to go somewhere "What is it?" He asked still half asleep.

Jack frowned and looked at him. He'd got to know him a little more while he'd been in there and part of him felt real bad for the guy. "Sit down... Charlie sit down this is important." He told him and sighed heavily, "Your two little girls were born last night at about 1am.... they're only 6 and a half months along. Carmen isn't in great shape either but they're hopeful that she'll wake up in a few hours. You're not gonna be able to go see them, Tom spoke to the court but they're not gonna allow you probation to go do that." He told him slowly.

He frowned some and watched her for a moment, "I don't trust it.... It's not been helping, it makes me worse,makes my head all fuzzy and I can't remember anything properly, I can't be responsible enough when my head is like that." He mumbled then looked at the floor. "Either way they're taking Lana away from me if I go on that and she'll go into foster care, better to have sick me than no me." He mumbled, completely not thinking straight

Max shook her head and went over to him taking his hand and placing it on her stomach "Jon they are to help you, youre sick because you havent been taking them." She whimpered letting more tears fall "Jon please.....your child will need their father."

Charlie sat down and listened to him intently going wide eyed "What?!" He yelled jumping up and going to the door "Please I have to see them! Give me a twnety man escort I dont fucking care! I'll wear cuffs the entire time! Please I have to see Carmen." He pleaded

He frowned at him and shook his head. “Charlie... they won’t let you go see her because they know you want to.... this is a punishment not a thinking you’re gonna escape.” He told him then left him alone.

Jon frowned shaking his head. “Lana will only have me as her dad if the courts allow it.” He grunted not understanding

Max shook her head crying more "No Jon I'm not talking about Lana." She whimpered putting both his hands on her stomach now "Jon I'm pregnant...and I can't do this without you."

Charlie frowned and shook his head some "Please damn! Let me see her from here on video or something!" He yelled as he walked away

Jon frowned some and watched her shaking his head. “It’s not possible though... it’ll kill you max.” He whimpered. He wanted more than anything for them to have a family. He always had but he knew the danger it put her in to have a child so he’d given up hope on that

Max gave a soft nod and squeezed his hand gently "I know but....its really happening...we can try." She said softly "And I have a doctors appointment, it'll tell us hopefully if we can keep it." Sje explained softly to him

He frowned and nodded but lay there even less relaxed than before. Now he was worried about her on top of everything else.

Carmen woke up in the morning to Tom in the room with her, looking around and frowning a little, not sure what was going on just about remembering arriving at the hospital

Max gave a soft sigh and kissed his hand gently "Please Jon...I need you here with me." She whispered

Tom gave her a soft sad smile taking her hand in his "Hey there beautiful, you did such an amazing job." He whispered taking a deep breath

She whimpered a little and leaned back. “My head hurts real bad.... can I see them? Are they okay?” She asked desperately. “Does Charlie know?”

He just nodded and lay back to get some sleep.

Max gave a soft sigh as she layed with him keeping hin close to her as he slept

Tom took a very deep breath and exhaled slowly as he sat on the bed with her taking her hand in his "Charlie knows you went into Labor....but Carmen....one of them..she uh..she didn't make it." He explained calmly and slowly to her "The other is in the NICU, but they say she is making good progress."
