Ksenia stays by her side."alright almost done. The scans are coming up now." She said looking at them."well looks like I was right. You are lucky you haven't poked your lung missy. If you walk anymore you could,but we will get you fixed up." She got a knock on the window."hold on one second I am just stepping out for a second." She steps out "what is it?" She asked. They tell her."Get that man out of my hospital now." She said angrily. "Go tell my brother and dad to stay in her room." She said.


Ksenia went back in. She let her out of the machine and helps her into a wheelchair. "Okay I am going to get you to your room. I must warn you Joey is here,but were keeping him out of your room. Don't worry." Ksenia said holding her hand gently.


Shane glared when he heard. He walked out."what in the fuck are you doing here. I told you to stay the hell away." Shane said.

"Thank you for doing that Ksenia. I just thought it was something that would go away. But I know better trust me it won't happen again." July says. She hoped that Shane was ok. She didn't care what happened to Joey anymore she was so done right now. No more was he going to hit on her. But she would do it the right way. Police will be called and he will be taken care of. She rode in the wheelchair. Bring her hand up to her forehead.


Joey looking at Shane, his hands up. "Hey I just come here to see July. She makes a big deal of things that is all. July can't be hurt that bad anyways I didn't do anything man." He said. Some nurses come up with hospital cops. They walk up "Sir you have to leave right now. You are being asked to leave you might want to do that now." Joey looking, "Hey I am just here checking on my girlfriend. I figured she was brought here." Looking to Shane and then the hospital cops and nurses. He backs up slowly looking a little scared. The hospital cops follow him out. The nurses turn to Shane, "Your sister is coming down with July. She wanted you to wait in her room." The nurses say.


As July is wheeled down to her room. She sees Joey backing up, July trying to get his attention. "Shane you want to come back in the room with me?"

Ksenia smiles and nods."good I am glad. It won't happen again now as my patient you need to rest and relax." She said. Ksenia got her to the room. She saw Shane and Joey. She stepped in front of July protectively."Get this man out of my hospital he beats his ex girlfriend if he isn't out in ten seconds I want him arrested."she said.


Shane glared at him."came to see her. She doesn't want to see you. Your nothing to her. My sister was the one who insisted she come here. She never complained. You didn't do anything yeah tell that to the bruises and tears on her plus what she told us." Shane snapped. He backs off when the police come. "She isn't your girlfriend. She is your damn punching bag." Shane says almost loosing it. Ksenia looked worried."Shane." She said sharply.


Shane turned hearing July and nods."It's okay let's go."he helped his sister get July on the bed."okay July I have to get a few things ready. We need to fix your ribs. They are broken we have the best surgeons and don't worry will be right here." She said."you got this. You will be fine no one can hurt you here."Ksenia said."I will explain the procedure to you then I will be in the OR to make sure all goes well." She said and sat on the bed gently next to July." I will be right back." She said.


Shane walked over and took his sisters spot."how you holding up?" He asked gently.

July nods and looks at Ksenia. "I am holding up as best I can. I am scared out of my wits. And I feel bad to. We were suppose to have dinner all of us together tomorrow night. And I ruin it Shane." She relaxes as best she can. Not thinking and reaching out and gabbing onto Shane's hand as it softly trembles. "I am sorry to you and your dad and sister. I didn't mean for all this to happen Shane." July says as she wipes her eyes. "Shane I can't thank you all for what you all have done for me." July felt like she was going to keep saying thank you to them all. But thanks wasn't enough anymore. This was what a family was.


Looking up at Shane. Smiling kindly to him. "After this no more hospitals. I am done coming here to be have to be checked out. They are great here though. And I like having you all here with me. I feel cared about now." July says. "Just promise me when I come out of the OR. I will get to see everyone smiling face Shane." July asks of Shane.

Shane smiled and held her hand."I know your scared,but my sister is good and she won't let anything happen to you."Shane said."I will be right here when you wake up." Shane said."stop apologizing stop thanking us. It is what people do when they care. Now relax. You will be perfectly fine." He said.


Ksenia came in."Alright July were gonna put you under and open you up fix your ribs. Then close you up. You will be sore and on bed rest at my house." Ksenia said."I have you don't worry. Were going to put you under now." She said. She nods and they put July under. Ksenia went with her to the OR. She stayed the whole time and watched over July.


Shane,Ksenia and there father sat in her room waiting for her to wake up. When she did Ksenia smiles."Hey it went well your going to be okay." She said. Shane smiled and sat next July careful not to move her. "hey. Told you we be here"he said"just rest" Shane said

She smiles a little tired from they used to put her under. Looking up at Ksenia and Shane and their dad. She smiled more, "I am glad you all are here for me. I promise not to be to sturbbon at your house." She giggles some and wincing a little bit. "Ok I can't giggle right now." July says. Taking their hands and squeezing them softly. "I don't think they will let us have a slumber party in here. You all have to be tired." July says. She relaxes on her bed. "You all are so good to me. I am very lucky to have you in my life." July says.


She was very lucky to have them. Something bad might have happened, worse then it already was. She smiles at the faces before her. "Ksenia when will be able to leave here?" July asked, she knew it may not be until tomorrow. But you can always hope. "And I want to give hugs if that is ok. When it I am able to." July says. That is a way to say thanks without saying it again.

Ksenia sighed."Just rest. You will be out if everything looks good tomorrow." She said. Ksenia looked at her chart and sighed."we fixed everything that was wrong. Your going to be fine. Now rest is the best thing for you. Don't worry about us. Dad and Shane can go home." She said,me I am here it is what I do." She said.


Ksenia laughed."No hugging till your able to move with out my help." She said."now close your eye's no more talking." Ksenia said.

July makes a little face. She was going to open her mouth and say something. But he closed it right up. She was going to listen to what she was told to do. Even if she didn't like it. She was a little bull headed sometimes. But she didn't feel like being bull headed right now. her hand on top of Shane's. She drifts off back to sleep trying to fight it. But she couldn't help it. Her hand lax on Shane's. Her mouth softly fell open. She snores just a little bit. But it was cute.

Shane smiled and sighed."Go home Shane and dad. She is fine. I will tell you if anything happens." She said quietly. She let them go. Ksenia sat there and just waited. She turned the tv on and sighed putting her hand through her hair. She finally laid her head on the bed and waited. When July woke Ksenia stood."hey,ready to go to my house? Get to lay down watch tv movies and have a personal doctor take care if you and two cuddle machines."Ksenia said and smiled."you okay?"she asked her.

July yawned a little bit. "Oh yes I am ready lets blow this pop stand. I am a little sore, but I will be alright. And you said cuddle machines. That sounds great to me." July says with a smile. "Nice to wake up to a smiling face." She tries to move in the bed. "You didn't sleep here all night did you Ksenia?" July asked. She hoped she got sleep last night. She would feel bad if she didn't get good sleep. "I do like your dogs. They look so sweet and cute." She smiled more.

Ksenia smiles."Yeah there my babies and stop moving you will open your stitches. Now move slowly please." She said."Me sleep no I am actually going to get you home comfortable in my spare bedroom and go to bed." She said. Ksenia helped her to dress and go to the wheel chair. She get's her to her two bedroom apartment a lady is standing in the kitchen as Ksenia moves July to the guest bedroom. She gets her set up. Ksenia tucks her in gives her the pills and water. "okay take these. the remote is at your finger tips just rest I will leave the door cracked dogs will come and go. Phone is next to the remote press one,calls me just rest. Okay."Ksenia said. The woman walks in."ahh Jasmine. This is my step sister July and she is staying here." Ksenia said. The woman nods"dogs are fed and walked." She said and walked away."thank you Jasmine see you later." She said."that's my dog nanny." Ksenia said."Now I am going to shower. The phone won't ring no one calls it. It's just my house cell. So no need to worry about being woken." She said and smiled.

July taking the pills and water. Relaxing in the bed, "Thank you so much Ksenia." Very slowly moving in the bed. Nice and comfy, she flips on the tv turning it down on low. July knowing she wouldn't be up much longer. She wondered if she should let Shane and them know she was over here now. Sighing they knew she would be over here. July wasn't going to worry about it right now. Hearing the dogs come into the room smiling. But she just let them go for now. She will have time later to cuddle with them. She was just glad that to be in a bed. She drifts off back to sleep. The pills she took to were kicking in. They knocked her out fast.She didn't dream.


A few hours later she wakes up. Seeing the dogs she smiles and pets on them some softly talking to them. She didn't want to wake up her step sister. She was working hard enough taking care of her. Jack and Rose cuddled to her some and licked her face. She laughed as little as she could. Playing with them a little bit. As they ran back off.

Ksenia went to shower and go to bed. She slept one of her dogs slept with her. She She slept through a lot. She woke to her phone going off. She groaned and answered."Doctor Collins." She answered."Give them 20mmg and don't call me for stupid shit. Your a damn doctor." She said and rolled over. She got up with a sigh and went to check on July. Rose followed her."Hey how you doing July."Ksenia asked

Smiling over at Ksenia, "Oh I am doing fine Ksenia. Been relaxing and doing what you said. And that is saying a lot. I am a bull headed person." July said. "You have very nice dogs they came and saw me a little bit today. I hope you have been able to get some good sleep now that you are home." She tried not to bother her to much and let her sleep. She wasn't going to tell her she was up today. To use the restroom. But she did take it easy. But that little part can be kept to her self. She wasn't going to have hr mad at her.

"No I am going back to bed after I see to you.Any ab normal pain or discomfort."Ksenia asked and checked her pulse and heart."all seems good.Lets get you to the restroom so you can use it and I can get you bathed if you want." She said. "Shane will be over soon to stay with you." She said

"No I feel just fine. Well from the little pain. But other then that. All good." July says as she smiles. "That will be nice of him to stay with me." She smiles a little more. "That would be nice. I do feel a little gross. Have to look a little good even being like this." She tries not to laugh. "And I promise we won't talk loud so you can get some sleep."

She smiled and nods gently."Good means they did it right." She said"yeah he really warmed up to you." She said. Ksenia got her to the bathroom and let her use it before she washed her. She washed July gently."your really lucky I found this. Now July I need you to promise me this work won't be for nothing."Ksenia said as she washed her gently avoiding the stitches. Ksenia dryed her and dressed her in a loose fitting t-shirt. "Alright, bed." She said helping her in it. Ksenia heard the bell."I will be right back. She opened it."Shane come in." She said. He smiled and walked in. "Hey sis thank you for doing this." He said hugging her."yeah, don't keep her up." Ksenia led him in."See July here he is hun. Also at 4 take your pills. Need to use the restroom call me don't do it yourself. Also you need sleep so no talking for to long. Shane can stay. Don't disturb her rest." Ksenia said. She sighed "I am going back to bed, see if I can sleep." She said"Jack, Rose. Let's go." She said and took them to her room closing the door to sleep.Shane smiles at July "hey how you holding up. hope my sister isn't being to bossy." She said

Smiling, "Yeah I guess it took a little time. But he is a good person. Oh I promise it won't be for nothing." Trying to reassure her. Smiling at Shane patting the bed. "Oh I am holding up good Shane thank you. Shhh don't tell her but just a little bit. But that is ok tho. I know she just making sure that I get better. So I keep my bull headness to my self right now. But I can't promise it won't be that way in a few days." She laughs softly. Making a little face. "How are you doing Shane? I am glad that you came over to spend time with me. Not being able to do things makes it not really fun. So you just made my day."

Shane nods."She is also really tired don't mind her,but do listen to her. She is your doctor."He said and got into bed next to her and laid down. He put an arm around her."I am good. I am glad I came to i bet it does get boring." he said

I do miss being there though. But I will be home soon." Laying her head on his shoulder. "You know Shane I am glad we get a long better. It is nice I have to say." She says
