Lilith nodded softly and let him start to drive off taking them to the store. As they got there she smiled softly seeing the dresses and looked around letting Pedro pick a few as well

Ricky frowned shaking his head some "He started having trouble breathin and he fucking collapsed!" He said gettimg Clayton onto his back taking a deep breath

He smiled staying out of the way for the most part unless it was to give his opinion and he waited patiently, thanking one of the women working there for the champagne. He'd only ever taken Michelle to get something once and that was because he'd felt guilty over her having a miscarriage. He planned to spoil Lilith as much as he possibly ever could, "You did say you wanted a red dress." He reminded her as he sipped at his glass.

Carmen frowned and dropped to her knees next to him, rubbing her knuckles into his chest frowning, "Clay! Clayton wake up!" She yelled panicked and looked back at EZ, "Well don't just stand there call for an ambulance!" She snapped at him trying to get Clay to wake up, getting his shirt undone and his belt loosened to try and make sre nothing was constricting him but she was scared now.

Lilith smiled happily at him as she showed off another dress. She adored the attention he gave her and the compliments. She gave a nod and laughed lightly as she looked down at the blue dress she was wearing "Oh right." She said before she headed back to the dressing room but she couldn't help but glance at the other side of the store where all the wedding dresses sat lined up.

EZ quickly ran off to call an ambulance while Ricky helped Carmen in anyway he could "He been feeling alright lately?" He asked her having thought he looked fine the night prior

She shook her head, "He's been fine but he was burning up all night last night and coughing and I got worried so I made him stay home." She muttered frowning, "He's been fine." She whimpered quietly and tried to get him in a better position just worried sick about him and held his hand tightly in hers.

He smiled watching her some more and raised an eyebrow as he followed her gaze across the room thinking maybe she had found one she liked but smirked a bit seeing the wedding dresses, "Hey.... Not til the divorce is through." He winked at her and lifted his glass towards her.

Lilith turned her attention back to Pedro and blushed deep red before she scurried off to try on one last dress. She smiled wide as she looked herself in the mirror and came out to show Pedro "I like this one the best, what do you think?" She asked

Ricky frowned nodding some and letting the paramedics in as they arrived explaining what Carmen had told him to them taking her out of the room as they got him set up to go in the ambulance

She frowned watching them carefully and just chewed on her nails feeling sick to her stomach before going to the car with Ricky and had him drive her behind.

He chuckled quietly and turned his attention to the shop assistant who was chatting with him until she walked out and his jaw almost hit the floor, "Well I'll be damned... I won't guarantee it'll stay on but I think that's the one if you're happy?" He murmured to her and reached through to his back pocket

Ricky quickly took her to the hospital and gave a heavy sigh as they sat in the waiting room while they worked on him

Lilith blushed lightly and smiled happily giving a nod "Yeah I like this one a lot." She said happily before she went to change back while he paid for the dress

Carmen frowned pacing up and down the waiting room feeling sick to her stomach that she should have maybe picked up on something but hadn't or maybe it was someone deliberately trying to hurt him and feeling like she couldn't trust anyone but mostly she just wanted him to be okay.

He nodded and stood up, going to pay for it and waited for her to come out, slipping an arm around her shoulders when she did, kissing her head and let her take the bag back to the car, "Happy?" He murmured smiling at her, "We should go get lunch then head home, I have that job to get finished." He murmured softly.

Lilith gave a small nod and kissed his cheek gently "Sounds like a plan." She said softly as she walked out with him and got in the car sitting next to him "So do you need to get a suit?" She asked

Ricky sat there and waited sighing heavily. He looked at Carmen and took her hand as she passed "Carmen sit down, he'll be alright."

He smiled watching her, "I do, I'm seeing the tailor tomorrow." He murmured, "So when we get home, we're gonna have to do some exercise... Get me all fit for the measuring.... I can think of one way to exercise." He winked ar her

Carmen frowned but nodded and sat down, rubbing her face and shaking a little, "I can't.... He was fine when we went to bed and by the morning he was a little pale and tired but he was gonna rest and now this." She whimpered a little.

Lilith blushed some "Oh um..yeah we can do that." she said softly. She really would not like to but she also didn't want to upset him either.

Ricky nodded some giving a heavy sigh rubbing her back a bit "He'll pull through, he ain't leavin you like this." he said quietly to her

He raised an eyebrow over at her lack of enthusiasm and kissed her knuckles, "I mean carrying you up the stairs and running us a bath with bubbles and relaxing oh and then consuming as many calories as I can." He chuckled and kissed her knuckles again.

Carmen frowned not saying another word just waiting patiently until his name was called and she jumped up, walking over quickly, "Is he okay? Where is he?" She whimpered quietly wanting to go see him now, not wanting to be anywhere but by his side.

Lilith gave a small smile and nodded some "Alright, I can definitely be okay with that." she said softly giving another smile as he kissed her knuckles "I love you Pedro." she whispered

Ricky followed close in toe waiting outside of the room while she went inside to see him

She frowned and went to sit with him carefully once she was finished speaking to them, gripping his hand gently and watching him. “Hey papí. How you feeling?” She coaxed, brushing a few strands of hair from his face.

He smiled and watched her some the whole time and just noddes slowly. “I love you too darling.“ he murmured quietly, kissing her cheek after he parked the car in their drive.

Clayton groaned some taking in a deep breath "Like hammered shit....what the fuck happened?" He asked her. All he remembered was Ricky showing up and thats it.

Lilith got out with him and went inside putting her dress away frowning softly as she walked by their room quickly closing the door loudly and making her way to the bathroom.

She frowned some and watched him carefully, sitting on the edge of the bed and gently smoothed his hair from his face, "You told him you couldn't breathe, you collapsed." She mumbled frowning some and sat there worryin about him, "Nurse said they're not sure what's wrong but they're working on it okay? Here, squidge." She murmured and lay next to him, holding him to her gently and kissed his head.

He sighed heavily and went in to her, slipping his arms around her gently and pulled her in close to him, "What can I do to make it go away?" He asked her quietly, pressing his lips to her forehead and held her gently, swaying with her, "I would do anything for you my love." He murmured

Lilith gave him a very soft smile and cupped his cheek gently "You already do enough for me my love...this...this is something that will heal with time." She said softly before she kissed his forehead gently

Clayton frowned and cuddled into her some taking a deep breath "This had to come at the worst time." He muttered shaking his head some

He smiled sadly at her and just nodded. “I’m gonna go to the study. When you’re ready we’re gonna head out to the office and then we’ll come back soon as I’ve finished that job.” He promised.

carmen nodded and just held onto him having been so scared “it’s alright. I’m sure it’ll just blow over honey, but you have got to take care of yourself sweetheart

Lilith nodded some and pulled away from him some "Will I meet Oscar there?" She asked as she sat on the bed leaning back on it a bit wondering who this member was that Pedro had said would be her body guard basically

Clayton shook his head and laughed some "I'm going to look like a fucking chump! Stuck here in a goddamn hospital when I should be running my city." He muttered

He nodded and kissed her forehead softly. “You’ll like him.” He assured her and kissed her head again going to his study to get a couple bits done while he waited for her to be ready.

carmen frowned shaking her head. “It’ll be okay.” She coaxed gently. “Ricky can hold the fort and you need to rest... I’m not letting you get worse for the sake of still working.” She told him quietly.

Lilith gave a small nod and went to get ready changing into some more comfortable clothes before she walked down to Pedro "Ready?" She asked softly taking his hand in hers

Clayton shook his head some sighing heavily "I just worry Pascal will backstab me." He muttered

Carmen frowned making him lay back against her chest just holding his hand tightly and with her other one she was smoothing his hair back soothingly. “He won’t.... I won’t let him.” She muttered and kissed his temple. “Get some sleep Clay, you need to rest.” She frowned not liking how much effort he was having to put in just to breathe.

Pedro smiled and twirled her, bringing her in close and kissed her sweetly. “Ready. You need to make sure you stay in the other office alright?” He coaxed her gently and kissed her cheek.

Clay nodded some and sighed heavily before he started to drift off against her

Lilith nodded some and followed him out "I will." She said softly stroking the back of his hand with her thumb

He smiled at her momentarily before taking her out to the car, turning the engine on and took her to the office, "I really need to hire a chauffeur." He muttered to himself a little and glanced over at her, "Have someone to drive you around wherever you wanted when I'm working." He murmured reaching over and stroking hr cheek gently.

Carmen frowned watching him and sighing quietly, kissing his temple, glancing towards the door at the sound of Ricky's voice. "He just fell asleep... He's really unwell Ricky, he needs someone here watching him 24/7" She muttered quietly, "He's worried about looking weak but I told him we could have you man the fort and have EZ here with him and I'll have Frank with me." She mumbled getting tired herself, worn out from all her pacing and worrying

Lilith gave a small laugh and nodded softly "Mmm yeah maybe that could be helpful." She said softly before she fell silent staying close to him the whole time until they arrived. She bit her lip as they got there and made her way up to his office

Ricky frowned stepping in and gave a small nod "We can do that, get some rest. I got EZ here for the night." He murmured
