Adrian Hawthorne: Oc

Adrian and James are on a drop off and ends up in a safe zone, but James got bitten.

Adrain
Adrain was grumbling as she slowly started to walk out of one of the rooms. The room was meant to be somewhere to hold up for a day or two at the most, though that seemed that wasn't the way this was going to work. Her eyes narrowed as she started to pace; she was unable to go anywhere for far too long because of some stupid quarantine time or something like that.

Luckily, she arrived before James, her work partner, who had to run the long way due to some Raiders. "This is stupid," Adrian mumbled, finally able to leave that place, and she started to grab her bag; the only thing she still had, her guns, was taken until she left the zone. Putting it on her shoulder, leaving the building just to be met with a scanner. I don't have time for this, she thought, tapping her finger to her leg.

The woman stood there waiting; she would hear garbled words over the soldier's radios. "Help…sector…man" was all that she could understand.

"Clean, you can go," the officer motioned for Adrian to leave. As she started to leave, she turned, seeing James walk towards her more, his head down.

"James?" Adrian crossed her arms as she waited. She thought it was a bit odd that they were letting him free early. That would be when she saw it, driving from its mouth, blood. Then it lunged forward at one of the soldiers. "Oh, crap," Adrian scrambled back as one of the soldiers was tackled to the ground, screaming in pain. One, two, three, and four shots rang out before it dropped; by then at least three people were bitten. Not counting the people inside the building.

Adrian stood there staring at what remained of her best friend after this broke loose, nine years. Nine years, gone. James was gone. Her ears were ringing from the shots. One of the military guards grabbed her shoulder, forcing her to leave.
