She poured herself a glass of water and called over to him, asking if he wanted one.

"Do... Do you have any juice?" He asked her, walking over to her

She nodded and started to pour one. She couldn't bring herself to look at him, as her cheeks burned bright red.

"Sammy" he bit his lip and looked at her nervously "will you accompany me out to dinner?" He blushed a deep red and wished he hadn't said it

"What about Nikki?" she whispered, looking up at him.

Tears came to his eyes "Nikki's not an issue"

"Okay then. I'd love to have dinner with you," she whispered.

"You will?" He sounded surprised "what...what does that mean?"

"It means we're dating," she said softly, gazing up at him.

He looked down "I was going to let you ask" he sighed "I just couldn't resist"

She grinned. "I'm glad you did," she said and reached up onto the tips of her toes to kiss his cheek again.

He smiled "can I use your spare room tonight?"

She nodded without hesitation. "Provided you can keep your hands to yourself," she teased him.

Sam laughed and led him back over to the soda. "Wanna watch a movie?" she asked, gazing up at him as sweetly as she could.

"A superhero movie" he said, his face still struggling to hide his nerves

She smiled and put a random superhero DVD into her DVD player. She turned to look at him, and took hold of his hand. "Why so nervous?" she asked, smiling at him reassuringly.

"I...I've been waiting for this moment for years" he blushed and mumbled the next few words under his breath "for us to be dating I mean"

 

[Vaila]

"There's no need to be so nervous," she said. "I've always been yours."

"You're not mine now" he looked at her "you're my girlfriend but I don't own you"

"I might not belong to you," she said softly, moving closer to him. "But I do belong with you."

He smiled at her "I agree and I never intend to leave you" he put his arm around her carefully "I'll stay with my soulmate, I know you're the right one for me"

 

[Vaila]

Sam rested her head on his chest and wrapped her arm around his waist. She leant up and kissed his cheek again softly. "I love you," she whispered in his ear.

"I....I love you too" relief passed over his face as he said it "I...I never thought I'd say it to you in person" he tentatively stroked her hair, not wanting to do anything wrong
