Um... Warren acted out like an idiot. Ivy hit Warren and then attacked Asa (the witch). Asa engulfed Ivy in smoke which means Ivy's attack failed. Hiro started trying to have a conversation with the witch. Xander yelled at the witch and demanded an answer. And that's pretty much it for your group. There's a lot of people who have merely been observing and not taking action.

Well, I know it doesn't quite make sense, but at the same time having EVERYONE go insane would just be too much and it would also imply that no one can resist madness. Maka, Soul, Black Star, Death the Kid... all of them were in the presence of madness and they never ALL lost it at once.

Actually Kid DID go mad for a while in the manga, until Black Star beat him back to his senses.

I know that some of them went mad at times, but they never all went mad at the same time. So I can't justify letting everyone go mad here...


It would be fun, but it just isn't quite reasonable given all the Soul Eater things I know.

I wasn't quite sure whether you were joking or not and I figured a serious reply was the best I could offer reasonably. I hate to assume people are joking when they aren't. It always seems to be better to assume they aren't joking.
