I had been working on a clab with @Chara Angel of Death, but do to timing issues, and some technical difficulties (namely my lap top up a dying on me... It's dead, like DECAPITATED dead!) we were too slow for the mad dogs arc.... I'm sad....

If it doesn't involve anyone else at all, you are honestly probably still ok to post it.

Not really anything new... Just them getting to know each other... I'll post it as soon as we finish... I'm waiting on @Chara Angel of Death to reply... We've had to do it in the conversations, because I'm stuck on my Nana's iPad now that my laptop is dead... I mean it, it flat up DIED on me....

Well... A few months ago I had wiped, because it had a virus. I also got it a new battery. When I got it back, it wouldn't let me on anything but google, so I had to send it back. Once they fixed that, I got it back, and the charging port was bent, so I had to wiggle the charger around a lot to make it charge. Then the new battery turned out to be a bum, and wouldn't hold a full charge. Now a few weeks ago I was wiggling the charger around and the little metal stem inside the charging port snapped off, so now it won't charge at all, and then the battery died. It was working fine up until it caught the virus. The damage it had done to my computer, had been going on for about 6 months, which was about how long my first battery had been needing to be changed. I think the virus somehow fried my hardware as well as my software, and now it's dead... I shall now send you all invitations to it's funeral....

Ouch. I don't know about a virus frying hardware; more than likely, it caused problems with the OS that led certain functions/applications being used wrong.


New laptops obviously depend on your price range. The average is around $500 (general statistic). I'd suggest something like this: ASUS Laptop X550ZA-WH11(WX) AMD A10-Series A10-7400P (2.50 GHz) 8 GB Memory 1 TB HDD AMD Radeon R6 Series 15.6" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit - Newegg.com


You could likely get the extended warranty on it. >.< Aside from that, I would suggest Malware Bytes and potentially a secondary anti-virus. Avast! is my anti-virus program of choice due to its silent gaming mode and nice scan features. The thing about most anti-virus programs is that if some entity wants into your device bad enough, no program is going to stop them. Windows Defender in combination with a single good Anti-Virus is generally your best bet; the wider the audience, the better virus definitions it will have. Malware Bytes is designed to prevent, well, Malware and potentially dangerous ads. It's $25/yr and can be put on three devices. 100% worth it. I normally would never recommend a paid antivirus because they're only marginally better than free ones, but Malware Bytes I most definitely vouch for.

Hi guys! Thank you all for contributing and for being a part of our first arc in Soul Eater: The Perfect Order. It is now stamped as complete! At this point in time, the rp will be doing a timeskip of 6 weeks. For the next two weeks (in real life), we will be opening up a section called "The Aftermath" in which you will be able to post things that would happen over the course of the next 6 weeks IC. You do not HAVE to post during this time although I would appreciate it if you would let me know if you do NOT intend to post. Let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns and I'd be more than willing to address them. We are in the process of preparing for what comes next and you're all going to LOVE it!
