Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Abby lifted Cora and bounced her playfully, carrying her into the next room. She set her down on the couch and began checking her hands and feet. "Are you beautiful?" she asked the little girl, kissing her hands and feet gently. "I'm your Aunt Abby, and the lady with the dark hair and blue eyes earlier was your Aunt Freya. She and your Daddy aren't very happy right now because they miss your mommy, but they love you so much," she told her placing small affectionate kisses on her cheeks. "And you're gonna grow really quickly, and it might hurt a little but that's ok. Your mommy drank a potion so she could see you, and it means you'll grow a little quicker than normal for a while. But it should stop when you hit about 2 years old.... or at least when you look 2 years old," Abby told the little girl with a kind smile as she lifted her up and held her carefully in her arms. "Do you know what your name is? Because I don't have a clue," she said with a soft laugh.

Cora, eyes still closed, made cute baby noises and then opened and closed her hands. She started to fuss a but being hungry. You can start to see baby hairs growing and her face scrunching up in discomfort.

Abby tried to sooth her, rocking her gently. "I know baby, but Auntie Freya will be back with your dinner soon," she said softly as she lay her down and held her tiny hands in hers.

Meanwhile Freya was placing Ira's body in her truck, wrapped in a plain white sheet. Shutting her pick up, she climbed back in and began to drive back to the camp. She drove far too fast, but she didn't care. The speed was exhilarating and distracted her from the loss of her friend. As she pulled in through the protective barrier, she relaxed a little and parked in the middle of the cabin area. She jumped out and grabbed the bags of food and baby items, carrying them into the cabin. Abby jumped up and began to root through the bags as Freya sat down by Cora, lifting her into her arms. "Hey there little thing," Freya greeted with a sad smile. "You ready for your dinner?"

Abby began to heat up the milk gently, grabbing one of the steralised baby's bottles and filling it quickly. She handed it to Freya who began to feed her gently. "Is she alright?" Freya asked, glancing up at Abby as Cora began to drink.

Cora fussed more and more till Freya arived and started to feed her. Her hands opened and closed again then rested on the bottle. She showed a sour face but continued she then held the bottle and rested against Freya and slowly her eyes looked like they where going to open but she didn't want to open them to them first.

"We can go find your daddy when you've finished," Freya said softly, giving Abby a look. She'd injured her wings on the flight in and although she'd managed to shift back, it was uncomfortable. Abby's eyebrows furrowed and she crossed her arms over her chest. Standing slowly, Freya moved across the room and set down the now empty bottle. Carefully, she rubbed Cora's back in small circles and carried her towards Hunter's room. Knocking on the door gently, Abby pushed it open as Freya waited with Cora. "Alright if we come in?" Abby asked, looking at the pair to see if Hunter was all healed.

Cora made a cute baby grunt and then burpped and then started to chew on Freya's shirt and doing a baby ninja grip on her arm but being a D.G. she was stronger. Hearing her dads name she squinted a bit.

Romeo sighed at the waters edge, skipping stones against the waters surface; watching the water waiver and ripple in Response. He felt awful for what happened between Idris and him; that it was nothing must lustful and compulsive sex due to being under the influence of an arrow, and Aphrodite's daughter; or at least she was at the time. He shook his head, shaking away the thoughts, continuing to stare into the blue.

Fawn lifted her hand slowly, weakly, caressing his check delicately. She let out a shaky breath, concentrating on his face.

Hunter heard the truck arrive and didn't even pay attention to what Demetri was telling him. He immediately walked to the door and opened it at the same time as Abby. He saw her girl and it was probably the first time that day that he made a real smile. Even if it was faint. He knew that if he didn't take care of his sunshine, Ira would drag him to the underworld. " Hey Cora." He said softly as he slowly and gently pulled her next to him. It showed that he wasn't use to baby as he held her awkwardly and upside down at first. He was honestly nervous and didn't know what to do exactly. So he looked at Freya with a kind if help and I don't know what to do lop sided smile. Demetri just crossed his arms his instruction being ignored

Freya giggled softly and rearranged his arms, placing his hands on Cora gently. "There you go, beautiful," she said in a sweet voice. "Back with your daddy," she soothed as she gave Hunter a small smile. He looked a little lighter with Cora in his arms, but the sadness was still there. She wanted nothing more than to take him in her arms and tell him that everything would be ok, but she wasn't sure that it would be.

Tom looked at her his blue eyes bright as always but now filled with sadness as tears filled his eyes. "I love you...why...why now." He choked at his words.

Cora wined and looked like she was going to throw a fit. Her eyes closed frusterated at everything. She had her moms attitude.

After she finished showing Jackson around - which meant she had to explore quite a bit herself - Idris went over to the Ares cabin. It was still a bit battered, but she knew it was the Ares cabin anyways. She touched one of the red walls. "I guess I am your daughter, then... father."

There was a sudden boom, and a voice came floating on the wind, seeming to come from the wall she was touching. "It's time..."

She looked at the wall, masking her surprise with an emotionless expression. "Why?"

"Trust me. I am your father, after all."

Her expression didn't change much but complete and utter LACK of trust began scrawling itself all over her face anyways. She nodded once. "Very well." Uncertainly, she crossed the threshold of the building and stood in the center of the cabin. She looked around herself, but did as her mother had told her several months ago: trusted her instincts. Letting some sort of strange intuition guide her, she lifted her left foot tentatively, then stamped onto the ground. The floor of the cabin turned a glowing, blood-red, as Idris closed her eyes, too quickly for anyone to see the slightest color change in them.

She opened her mouth and just let the words flow. "Hades, God of the Underworld, Lord of Death, I now activate the curse I placed on you when last we met face-to-face." She closed her mouth, but her voice still rang out, echoing in the air emptily: only a hate-filled memory. "Curse you. May all the dead soldiers that owe allegiance to Ares rise up against you once a year. And one day may all your allies turn to enemies, even the closest. Curse you." She let the old words fade away, then continued to speak, not quite sure where she was getting any of the words or information from. "Every year, on this day of the birth of Cora Brookeson" who was that? she didn't recognize the name. "and the death of Iraonna Sage" Ira was dead? how? "by the current calendar of this location, those in your domain who owe allegiance to Ares, God of War - those whose numbers are ever growing and growing -" as she said the words growing and growing the glowing redness climbed up the dilapidated walls of the cabin in spurts. "will rebel against you, fight you with all their souls, their power greater than that they had in life and their numbers replenishing with each felled, until the day ends. Only children of the bloodline of Iraonna - the one for whom I seek vengeance - and of mine will be able to end this curse. The nullification will only work if it is done willingly, with all their numbers present, and with no threat of yours, or of any of your allies or even those who seek to use you, against them or anyone or thing they care about." this curse was annoyingly long, though she could see why: tying up loopholes. "Should either bloodline end, the curse will stand for all eternity, and should you delay their natural deaths by any scheme of your desire and for your purpose, all soldiers of the dead that ever are or were will battle against you neverendingly, their souls not to cease. The furies themselves will thirst for your blood, for although you are the Lord of Death, I-" she hesitated for a second, trying not to trip over the next words "am the daughter of the Lord of War, and in war even the most loyal of allies may become foes." Idris's eyes flashed open, revealing that her left had turned red, though her right eye was still brown. She raised her right foot, then slammed it against the floor, no hesitation in her action now. As she did so, her right eye also changed to red, and when she spoke the next words in a hoarse, powerful voice, they turned a violent, raging purple, the color of the entire cabin following suit. "This is War." With those words, her eyes changed back to brown, and she wobbled, falling shakily onto the ground.

"I'll recover from this... I promise." She smiled weakly, continuing to let her hands travel and memorise his face; his cheek bones, the shake if his lips, the piercing-ness of his eyes... Everything of him. She cuddled up into his chest as he held her; her lip quivering slightly at the thought of dying young.

------------------------------------

Hunter smiled back but he looked at his daughter with a small giggle as he sat on his bed. He was so childish and yet fatherly with her. Cora opened her eyes to show bright blue eyes like her father. Hunter immediately fell in love with her that instance. He kept her on his arms and when he felt comfortable enough, he held her with one arm and played with her hands as she grabbed her finger and he laughed. Demetri looked curious at the baby. He wasn't a fan but he still found them cute.. sometimes. '' Can I?'' he asked scratching his forehead.. Hunter nodded even if Cora was clenching at his clothes. And when Demetri had her in his arms, Cora vomited on him and to add up, pissed on his shoe. Demetri swallowed hard to not throw her away since she already looked 6 months old and just looked at it boredly.

"I bought a crib," Freya said softly, scratching the back of her neck. "I didn't know if you had one.... but if you do I can always just put it in Aphrodite's cabin.... I'm sure we'll get use of it at some point," she said nervously. "I got a bunch of other things too and enough clothes to cope with her growth spurts for the next 24 hours," she continued as she looked down at her shoes.

----------

Abby giggled and grabbed a wet wipe, handing it too him as she took Cora from him. Carefully, she cleaned her up and added a nappy, before handing her back to Demetri. "Try and be more careful this time," she teased him gently.

'' Hey! I was very careful. She's just a devil already. I mean, look at her. She's staring at me like I'm a ..... prey.'' Demetri said a bit scared as he wiped himself. He hesitate before taking her back and sat on the bed. At first he didn't know what to do exactly but at some point he found himself laying her on the bed and just blowing on her stomach to make her laugh and she did.

------

Hunter leaned on his arms behind his back listening to her and nodded, '' No It's cool.... I don't have anything except the bed,'' he said with a one sided shrug and a small smile. He scratched the back of his head a bit nervously glancing at the ground and back at her before standing up a good foot above her. '' I'll go get the stuff from the Truck. Abby, can you take care of her the time I fix everything?'' he asked softly and quietly.

Abby nodded softly and turned back to watch Demetri with a soft giggle.

----------------

Freya hesitated. "Ira's in the truck bed," she whispered as tears formed in her eyes. She hurried outside and stood by her truck, staring at the content.

Hunter didn't say anything as he looked away. He wanted to look for her and just go down to the underworld but how Ira told him to watch and her brief instruction for Cora not to date just meant, don't look for me and be a good father. His heart was heavy and he couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't living it the same way as Alexis death or anything. He walked towards the truck and he placed a hand over her soulless body. Cold and empty. Hunter didn't cry tho. He cried all day from the moment he saw it. He clenched his fist and finally pulled her body out of the truck and held her close to him whispering in her ear. '' I'll be the best father I can be and take care of our child. I love you so much.. I just hope you *sobs and sniffs* I just hope you can rest in peace where you are.'' he said tears falling down. Tears of farewell. He would take care of the stuff later. He felt like a proper burial was more appropriate.
Demetri chuckled a bit and looked at Abby, '' Come play,'' he said with a head movement as he blew on her stomach again

Freya watched with teary eyes. She felt guilty for still wanting him, even though he was grieving and she knew she'd have to get over those feelings quickly. She wanted to wipe away his tears and hold him, but she knew he needed to let this out. If he didn't then he probably never would. She grabbed the box containing the cot and began to carry it into Artemis' house silently.

=====================

Abby rolled her eyes and placed a loud wet kiss on Cora's cheek. "I don't think it's fair that Uncle Demetri is picking on us poor girls," she whispered to Cora. "We should get him back," she said an evil smirk spreading across her lips.

Hunter walked towards the forest grabbing a shovel with him. He placed her gently on the floor beside him as he started to dig a hole once he was at the tree he usually was. He was pretty good digger so it didn't take much time and he placed Ira's dead body 6 meters under ground. He gave one final kiss on her forehead crying. It was there end. He couldn't do anything about it. he knew someday they would witness one of them die but he hoped it was after they grow up and live happily. He did his final prayers to the gods above and for his mother to bless that forest and his new baby girl. He threw the earth slowly over his lost lover. Once that was done, he walked in the forest gathering everything that he could make something pretty for her and for him and Cora to find her grave. He found a big rock white like salt and he managed to pick it up and he placed it there. He would of taken his time to write something on it... but he knew he had a little girl to take care of. He didn't want to rely on everyone. That was his job, his responsibilities.

------

Demetri made a evil smile as he jumped towards Abby, '' I don't treat you fair baby?'' he asked rhetorically as he blew loudly on her tummy making a huge sound that could resonate through the whole house and he tickled her at the same time not letting her go.

Soul OMU]Madison blinks and fixes her glasses as she reaches the border of camp. "By the gods... This is quite beautiful... I've never seen anything like it..." She said as she stepped through the barrier that Alissa managed to create. Looking at it in amazement as she studies it through her high tech glasses that show her how everything was constructed and built and what was used to make it. "Incredible really... Man... I'm just a tad bit jealous... [/QUOTE] ([URL="https://www.rpnation.com/profile/6753-32sillylight32/ said:

Desmond was walking down the dirt road humming to some new popular song on the radio. He was wearing a a white button shirt with a dolce gabbana belt and a dark pair of jeans. He had nice brown shoes that didn't seem fit in this environment. He sighted as he saw the camps barrier. He saw a girl that seemed to be a newcomer like him. He simply peered over her shoulder a bit to close to comfort. '' Hellooo'' he said trailing of the ''O'' and having a sly smile.

Madison jumped slightly and her first instinct was to pop him in the nose with her fist, which is exactly what she did before she covered her mouth and gasped slightly. "Shit! I am so sorry! Gods you can't sneak up on me like that... Especially when I'm taking in such a beautiful sight of advanced Greek technology!" she snapped slightly while fixing her glasses.

Desmond kept his smile holding back the tears that threatened to fall because of the pretty powerful punch. '' Hey sis,'' he said in a squeaky voice holding back the pain as he started bleeding from the noise. He placed his hand over his nose to avoid more mess of his shirt.

Madison's eyes widened a fraction before gasping again and covering her mouth. "Shit! I am so sorry! Oh Gods I didn't mean too!" she said as she grabbed some tissues from her pocket and held it to his nose. "Gods... You really shouldn't have snuck up on me thought..." she said with a sigh as she shook her head. "Honestly... Your lucky I wasn't holding a knife or something..."
