Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Abby kissed his cheek. "That's very sweet of you, but if you really want to snuggle by yourself I need to go and get my own blanket," she said softly, feeling the warm skin of his chest pressed against her barely clothed body. "And you are far too tempting when I have so little clothes on.

Ira got up and looked at him and gets up to help him. "Maybe the storm brought the water in hear?" He said sarcasticly and pulled him out of the water of falling.

"No...no. Snuggle with me and resist my sexiness because I'm tired... Morning sex tho sounds promising. " demetri said giggling as he tightened his arms around her burying his face on the curve of her neck. " Come to bed with me love." He said proposing as he turned them around towards the bed.

Abby giggled and pulled Demetri's t-shirt back over her head, slipping off her shoes. She moved with him towards the bed and crawled onto it, momentarily missing his warmth. "I love you," she murmured, snuggling into the bed.

Romeo sighed heavily. "It's just isn't my thing. Let's just end the conversation at that."

He looked out the window, the tension incredibly high at that point in the small space they shared. He helped her out, thanking the driver, making his way to the apartment floor. He could sense something was troubling her, but he also knew he wasn't willing to talk further about it. His face was unreadable, though he never faced her. He opened the door, going into his room. "Goodnight Idris." His tone was flat, no emotion.

She smiled politely, as if nothing had happened. "Good night, Romeo." Idris closed the door behind her, lay down on the floor next to her bed, as she had been doing all along, and had nightmares through the night.

Romeo woke in the middle of the night, due to thundering from the storm. He jolted up In bed, hearing whimpering from the other room. Silently he came out of his room, and into Idris's: seeing her curled up on the floor, shaking and whimpering in fright. He led down beside her, cuddling her into his chest, giving her warmth from the heat of his body, and comfort. "It's okay, you're safe." He whispered, his voice soft and soothing.

Idris wasn't scared of a lot of things. Even the things she was scared of, she hid well, so it wasn't the lightning that was scaring her. Or rather, it wasn't just the lightning.

"Idris." Came a familiar, deep voice.

"Ara, you came to visit me. What is it, great-grandfather?" She asked politely. In the dream world she was sitting in her room at home, on her knees, drinking tea very comfortably.

There was deep laughter in response. "Your aunts were right. You are an impertinent Oriental brat." That didn't make her angry, just as it hadn't when her aunts had said it. She did not reply. It didn't require a response. He tried again. "Didn't your mother teach you not to be rude to your most venerable family?" He asked mockingly.

Idris sipped her tea deliberately to make it clear his question wasn't exactly rattling. "She did, but I'm afraid my family consists only of her."

His voice boomed in response. "You can't always deny who you are, idiot half-breed. You are a daughter of Ares, my great-grandchild." He laughed, knowing that that itself bothered her enough. "Why else would you fight with those other weaklings, when you know you could do so much better on your own? What do they matter to you, if they're not family?"

She replied calmly again. "I may share blood with Ares, but he is no father of mine. I fought with them because that had a better chance than me fighting on my own against a power I know nothing about. Simple rules of war: have allies. You were going to destroy the world. I would have fought you anyways. Besides, they proved themselves worthy of my love."

Kronos laughed again, before his voice faded away. The scene switched. She was six again, and her mother had her arms around her. There was a great BOOM, as the ground shook underneath them. The earthquake. That horrible day. "Haha-Ue." She said, crying.

"Shh, shh. It's okay, Idris. You're alright. Don't cry." The whole world felt like it was shaking itself to pieces. There was a loud CRASH, as something else fell over. She didn't know what, since her eyes were shut tightly and her face was pressed to her mother's chest. She felt the impact and a quiet grunt of pain as whatever it was sliced into her mother's back.

"Haha-Ue." She was still crying. "Haha-Ue..."

Her mother's grip didn't slacken. "No, stop crying. I'm alright. You're my strong, beautiful girl. You'll be alright. Don't worry."

On the third crash, Idris woke with a start, not knowing she'd been whimpering in her sleep. She felt someone's arms around her and, still half-asleep, processed it as an enemy restriction. Ripping herself out of the person's grip, she flipped herself over and pulled out her Bowie knife, stopped the tip right above the person's chest. Which was when she realized it was Romeo. She froze, locking eyes with him, breathing hard from the adrenaline rolling through her system.

Romeo stared wide eyed, in complete shock as the knife came towards his chest, his reflexes became immaculate. Jolting to his feet, he had her pinned hard by her wrists against the wall, the knife snatched harshly out of her grip, now in his hand, his knuckles white from how hard his grip was, in his hand, the tip touching her neck. "What the fuck is going on?" His voice was stern, husky, and extremely rough.

Idris let herself be pinned against the wall, already letting go of the knife by the time he moved. Her gaze was steady and her voice devoid of emotion. "You scared me."

Romeo's reactions were Inhumanely fast; he was intelligent, though he didn't need to be to know that. He stared deeply into her eyes, studying her face; her heartbeat ringing loudly in his ears, he knew it wasn't his. "Why is it in your possession?"

Idris's forced her heartbeat to slow, controlling all remnants of the fear, expressionless. "To protect myself. You thought I was joking when we first met and I told you I fought gangs regularly, didn't you?"

Romeo stared at her, his usually calm eyes dark. He dropped the knife onto the floor, his knuckles aching from the tension. "You're lucky I didn't slit your neck." His voice was crooked, twisted. He turned his back to her, walking out of her room, in complete fear and shock and what had happened, what he had done and said. He didn't have control over it; what was happening to him? His eyes returned soft, running a hand back through his hair. Feeling humiliated about his actions, and distraught about the grief he had just brought Idris though, he went back to his bedroom, sitting on his bed with his head in his hands.

Hunter rolled his eyes but he was still sleepy and didn't really pull himself up with her help scared to make her fall. '' No shit... But damn that hurts when your barely conscious...'' he quietly said to himself while standing up. He was all wet now and had a small headache from the drunkenness of the day before. He walked towards the bathroom of his room and wiped the cold water of the rain before going back in the room.

Demetri rapidly moved with her towards the bed and held her in spoon making sure to cover both of them in a cocoon of softness and warmth. '' I love you too~'' he said snuggling more to her, his foot rubbing her's to heat it up as he buried his face in her hair. First thing he did being his annoying self is sniff the smell of her hair loudly.

Abby giggled. "You're such a dork," she teased him, closing her eyes as she enjoyed his arms around her.

She watched him go. "It wasn't luck that the knife didn't go through your chest." She said softly, though he was already to far away to hear her. No humans were that fast, and few monsters. She strode past the door, and that was when she saw her mother's comb, lying undisturbed on the floor. That was it. Her signal. She pushed open the door. "You're one of us, too, aren't you?" She took her rifle off her back, and held out loosely. For the first time since she met Romeo, her body unwound, and she looked like she was slouching. Battle mode. "Why didn't you tell me?"

He looked up at her, infested with sincere and honest confusion. "W-what to do you mean? What are you?" A gang leader? If that's the case, then no, n-no I'm not."

She looked at him in disbelief, and if it had been anyone else her next words would have been very nearly yelled. "A gang leader? No. Not a gang leader. Gangs are full of humans. A demigod." Her eyes blazed a conspicuous red.

His eyes widened further, before laughing hysterically. "A Demi God? You must be half awake my dear, there is only one God, and that is Jesus my saviour. Go back to bed Hun." He said softly, his eyes calm.

Surprise flickered in her gaze, because she saw he really had no idea what she was talking about. "Uso... ano yaroudomo..." (No way... those bast***s...) "You really don't know." Her voice was still soft but now it held a note of steel in it. "Look at me Romeo. Look at what I'm holding." It was no longer invisible to him. "Where did I get the knife from, the rifle from? Think. They've been with me from the very beginning. Why didn't you see them? Why did I show up out of nowhere and end up living with you. You are smart enough to know all of those are good questions."

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Forgive me for not believing you, but you're not making sense Idris. There is only one God. There will forever only be one God. I saw the knife because you attempted to stab me, that comb was probably in your bag. You hid them. I believed you were dancing, lost your balance and fell on me. Yes I'm smart, I'm smart because I am a man of logic."

Idris looked at him steadily. "Do I look at all confused to you?" She gestured with her rifle, her back straightening as she began to relax, even as angry as she was. "Not the comb, the rifle." She pocketed the comb, and replaced her rifle, holding out both palms towards him. She had no idea her eyes turned red when she was angry, so she made no note of that, but she concentrated all her anger into her palms until they glowed a strange, deep red, as if a light was shining through them. Except there was no flashlight, there was no way for her to be doing that. "Explain my hands with that logic of yours."

His eyes widened at her in horror. "What the fuck are you?" He watched her hands glow, her eyes doing just the same. He moved Inhumanely fast, the riffle now in his hands, standing by the door, snapping it in half to watch it form back together. He shook, throwing it on the floor. He moved again, this time pinning her to the kitchen wall, After dragging her there. "Devil spawn." He hissed. "Cursed one." His eyes grew dark, his grip far too tight to be human.

The red color vanished and all of her mother's training kicked in. A week ago, she might have cried out in pain and fear and told him he was hurting her. Right now, he was just an enemy she didn't want to kill. Not a speck of emotion entered her eyes or voice. "I'm not a devil spawn and I'm not cursed. I am the same as you. A demigod. A child of a Greek god. A creature of myth. If you weren't the same as me, you wouldn't be able to pin me like this. You would have no chance at hurting me. You wouldn't be able to snap a rifle in half." Her eyes were flaming red, now. "And for the record, I didn't enchant that thing, it was the only thing Ares gave me. That ... thing who I'll never call my father, that was the only thing he gave me for myself. Stop blaming me for what I can't change. More importantly, face it. If you believe in devil spawn and whatnot, why can't you believe what I'm telling you?"
