Aurora heard her phone ring and slipped out of Will's grip as she stood up. She quickly threw on some of his clothes, ignoring the size difference and picked it up, not bothering to check the caller ID as she answered it. "Hello?" (@Vaila)

"Aurora," she greeted with a soft smile. "It's Freya. How are you?"

Aurora froze and immediately felt tears form in her eyes. "F-Freya...Y-you're alive..." Was all she managed to say as she sat down on the edge of the bed. It wasn't long before the initial shock set in. "I-I'm fine...Improvements still could be made for me to be myself again but I'm good...how are you?" she asked as she ran her fingers through her hair and wiped her eyes.

 

[Vaila]

"Better now," she said softly. "Glad to be back in the world again, but I'll have to explain in more detail later..... there's something you should know. I didn't want to do it over the phone but I don't have much of a choice.... I'm not the only one whose back," she said cautiously, unsure of how Aurora would take it.

Demetri rolled his eyes at the suspense she was creating, " hey, it's not that big of a deal. Stop with the suspense. It makes it more dramatic then it is." He said scratching his chest.

Aurora obtained a look of confusion on her face at the words. "What do you mean you're not the only one who's back?" she asked as she laid back, staring at the ceiling.

 

[Vaila]

Freya turned and glared at him. "Why don't you go and sort out your Abby problem instead of interfering with my conversations," she murmured in a half irritated, half amused tone. "Either you can sort it out or we have to have a conversation," she said as her lips twitched before returning to the phonecall. 
"Alec..... Alec's alive too," she said, swallowing hard as she waited for Aurora's response.

" there is nothing to talk about. There is no problem whatsoever. We are two people with different views who just happened to have a thing. Now live me alone about this or ill make your life miserable around me." Demetri said irritated as he kicked her gently in a friendly way for her to stop.

Aurora froze for a few seconds before laughing slightly. "Freya don't mess with me like that. You've never were a jokster so why now?" she asked as she shook her head slightly.

"I'm not joking, Aurora," she said deadly serious. "I brought him back myself. He's in Kythira right now with Abby, last I heard she was trying to find him a room. Call her if you don't believe me. You can talk to him yourself," she said gently, in a soothing tone as she held one finger up to Demetri, telling him to wait a moment. "I understand that you're with Will, but I didn't want you to be blindsided..... I thought you should know," she said softly as she twisted her engagement ring around her finger.

Demetri pushed her finger away grumbling since he didn't really like it but didn't bother saying anything about it since she was in the phone and he was technically annoying her. He looked out of the window and finally saw the sun rising slightly. He sighted.

Aurora heard the seriousness in Freya's voice and nearly dropped the phone. She started to shake slightly and clenched her jaw, unsure of whether she should be happy or angry. "What in the hell were you thinking? You could have chosen ANY other person and yet you choose him?!" she found herself becoming more and more upset.

 

[Vaila]

"I chose him because he is my best friend, Aurora," she snapped. "He deserves a second chance at life and I didn't want to pick some random human so I chose him, and if I had to go back and do it all over again, I'd still choose to bring him back," she said with a sigh. She turned to Demetri and grabbed his hand, needing the comfort and not caring if he wanted to give it.

"Everything happens for a reason Freya! Hell you could have chosen Rosa! Doesn't she deserve a second chance at life! Doesn't anyone else that died deserve a second chance?!" At this point, Aurora was crying, not caring about who heard.

Demetri rolled his eyes at the blabla. Drama queen on the other line was probably shouting at Freya like usual. He just let her grab his hand not budging at all... Not that he could and anyway, if anyone needed comfort, he wasn't one to refuse.

Tears sprung to Freya's eyes and her jaw clenched. "They were all at peace, Aurora. Alec was not," she said through gritted teeth. "Nice talking to you again, as always," she growled out and hung up. "So much for gratitude," she muttered. "Now on to you. Why are you pushing her away?" Freya asked, looking up at him with tear filled blue eyes.

"Why should i tell you?" Demetri answered as he pulled out a napkin from his pocket for her to wipe her tears," crybaby"

"Shut up," she sniffled. "They're angry tears. As for telling me, you should because I am your friend. Because I want to understand, and because I can help her and you move on," she said gently as she took the napkin from him.

Aurora threw her phone at a nearby wall, instantly shattering it in anger. Put her head in her hands as she started to cry harder, knowing she couldn't face him...not now. She looked around for a brief moment and walked out of the room, going downstairs. She soon found a house phone and managed to calm down slightly. Against her better judgement, she dialed a certain number and waited for Abby to pick up.

 

[Vaila]

Abby picked up on the second ring. "Hello?" she asked, recognizing Claudia's home number and frowning.

"Fine," Demetri said rolling his eyes. " Where do you want me to start from? " he asked making himself comfortable on the sofa, his legs on her. "If you want, massage my feet at the same time. "

"Hey, Abby...It's Aurora. I would have called from my phone but I kind of shattered it. Umm..." she tried not to start crying as she thought about why she talked. "Is Alec there?" she asked shakily as she closed her eyes briefly.

Freya rolled her eyes and grabbed one of his feet, working her thumbs gently into the sole. "Start with the basics. When did you fall in love with her, and what's the reason you pushed her away?"

Abby was at a loss, looking up at Alec she frowned. "Yeah, errr do you want to speak to him?" she asked.


Alec looked down at her with a frown. "Who is it?" he asked.

Aurora took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Against he better judgement, she nodded and said, "Yea..." She became silent and sat down on the counter nervously.

Demetri didn't expect her to take her 12 size foot for her to massage. " ouh, i understand why Luke got engaged with you." He said stretching his upper body. " so yeah... I was attracted to her from day one but i just considered her your sister and a teenager. It was normal and well you know what happened. I didn't think to much into it. I guess i kind of started liking her when i was on a wheelchair." He trailed off," why i push her away. Cause i can't date her and i know that's what she wants. She wants ne to be with her and all. I don't mind but i know myself. I will grow attached to her and get jealous whenever she talks to a guy. Day number three, she told me herself that if anything happened between us, i had to expect her not to be just for me. I can't do that... Beside, i'm going back to Georgia for good." He started rambling softly slowly whispering and finally going silent looking at the ground.
