Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Sitting down on a table outside the cafe she picked up one of the menu's and browsed it quickly. "The English translations are on the back page," she said softly, reading through the Greek words with a small smile.

Fawn sat opposite Abby, picking up a menu; thanking Abby.

She read through the different selections of Food; deciding with the Fruit Salad With Greek yoghurt.

"I'll have the fruit Salad with Greek yoghurt, what about you?" She smiled softly, tilting her head; still silently noticing the worry etched unconsciousness upon her face.

"Rizogalo," she said simply. "It's a Greek rice pudding with lemon and vanilla, covered in cinamon," she continued as a waitress came over. She ordered for them quickly, asking for water and juice for the table, her Greek fluent as she smiled kindly at her. Turning back to Fawn, she ran her hands through her hair and sat back in her chair. "I was thinking about shortening my hair."

Fawn listened intently to them speaking Greek; the language within itself intrigued her, she had a passion for languages.

Fawn smiled brightly, tilting her head. "To what length?"

"I'm thinking my chin," she said as the waitress brought two jugs, one of water and one of orange juice. Abby took the juice and poured herself a glass, taking a sip of it. "Ef̱charistó̱," she said politely to the waitress before turning back to Fawn. "And a new colour, maybe red...."

Fawn nodded. " a change is always good; and personally I believe it would suit you very well: especially the colour."

She smiled, taking the jug of water, pouring herself a glass taking a sip.

" I was thinking about dyeing my hair; what do you think?"

Abby smiled softly as she sipped her orange juice. "I think you'd look nice with purple hair," she said with a thoughtful look. "You can get it done in town if you'd like," she said with a shrug. "Or I can do it back at the resort. We've got a hair salon upstairs in the spa."

Hunter was walking out of his room dressed casually with black clothes like usual. He wasn't much of a colorful guy. On the other hand, Demetri was more of a fashionista. He liked being classy, preppy and stylish with his clothes.

Hunter smiled at Demetri also walking out of his room at the end of the hallway and waved at him. '' Yoo! How ya doing ?'' he said loud enough for Demetri to hear him.

Demetri looked up at him from his phone and grinned. '' Sup brother!'' he said chuckling as he walked towards him. '' I'm not bad. Ruff night though and my whole body is aching.'' he said shoving his phone in his back pocket. He rubbed his neck from the soreness that built up the night before.

'' I told you man, You need a teddy bear to sleep with. It replaces the arms of a lady!'' Hunter said teasingly. Demetri just looked at him boredly, '' Yes of course Hunte. Twenty two and with a teddy bear. That makes totally sense. I real Forever Alone.'' he said walking towards the exit door from the DU. It passed towards the beach and they could go up for the few restaurants near the shore.

'' Well Technically..You are.'' Hunter replied with a wink looking around and meeting someone they recognized. '' Oh! Hey Idriss!'' Hunter screamed as he waved at her. ( @firejay1 )

She grinned; loving the idea. "I'll think about it, I just hope my hair would cope with it; I didn't exactly dye my hair to get it this colour." She paused grimacing as she sat there remembering the incident.

"Miss Abby, are you familiar with chemical burns?"

Fawn sighed; closing her eyes recalling the incident; her body tensing, her fists clenched.

"When I was four, they strapped me down in this chair... They had bright lights focused on me, they were wearing surgical masks, probably to hide them from chemical exposure. They... Starting injecting me with these substances... Where I was conscious... But paralysed so I couldn't scream, or talk, or whimper for help. They poured these chemicals onto my scalp, rubbing it in; they were wearing surgical gloves. It burned like acid; I was hoping it would kill me; it would have been the most successful and uncatchable escape. They wanted to test extreme sun exposure; to see how it would affect human skin. I had severe and third degree burns on my scalp; underneath my hair... It was beautiful, a platinum blonde colour, so pure that It was white. A day later... It fell out. All of it. My hair follicles were permanently stained by the chemicals; resulting in this pastel blue colour."

She gritted her teeth, shaking her head; shaking away the memories, her mind escaping that room, escaping the orphanage.

Abby grabbed her hand across the table and held it tightly. "Nothing like that will ever happen to you again. They can't touch you with us," she said in a soothing voice as the waitress came over with her food. She set them down and Abby gave her a small smile.

Fawn looked at her: showing the fear, the vulnerability that the little four year old felt during the chemical testing.

Fawn mouthed the words "thank you" as the waitress placed down the plates of food. The look was gone, Fawn's expression back to normal. She tucked a loose strand of hair that had fallen from her waterfall braid, behind her ear. Taking another sip of water.

Abby picked up her spoon and took a small bite of her food. She swallowed it, enjoying the taste but it wasn't long before she felt sick. "Excuse me," she said, hurrying from the table to the bathroom where she entered a stall quickly and proceeded to throw up.

Fawn ran after her, into the toilet stall she heard her begin to retch. She rubbed her back; patting it to ease the chocking. She looked down at her sympathetically.

"It's okay Abby, I know."

Abby looked down and shuddered, flushing the toilet quickly as she got up. She looked at Fawn with tears in her eyes. "What am I going to do?" she asked softly, shuddering again.

Idris had been training. When she decided to return to her room, she ran into Hunter and Demetri. Stopping herself from wincing at the magnitude of Hunter's voice, she walked over to join them. "Hello, Hunter, Demetri."

Fawn gently brought her into a supportively tight hug. "Don't worry about it, and remain calm; stress will do no benefit to the possibility of you bearing. I think before we jump to any conclusions I think it's best to certify it first." She smiled softly, letting go of Abby; reaching into her handbag, taking out the small blue box, handing it softly to Abby.

Both of the guys smiled, Demetri a bit more awkward but it was still meant as a greeting. Hunter stepped a foot forward to talk to her, '' So what are you up to Idris? Want to come eat with us? I ate at that very good restaurant before the whole Kronos thing. Your coming it's decided. Let's go Demetri.'' he rambled thinking about everything that they could eat and hearing his black hole of a stomach.

Demetri locked eye with Idris and just laughed because of Hunter forcing her to come. Tho he stopped seeing her black eyes.

Abby took it and sighed, shutting the door and completing the test quickly. Walking over to the sinks she set it face down and washed her hands, waiting for the minute to be up. When it was, she ran a hand through her hair and flipped it over nervously reading the word Pregnant in a bright blue text. She dropped it in the sink and stepped back, staring at it.

Fawn slowly stepped forward, standing behind and to the left of Abby; watching the colour draining from her face. Fawn didn't need to look into the sink to read the test; she already knew what it would say.

"Come here." Was all she said softly, as she wrapped Abby into a much needed hug.

Abby wrapped her arms around her friend, but she didn't cry out. She couldn't understand how this had happened. "I....What am I going to do?" she asked rhetorically, pulling back slowly. She shoved the test in her bag and pushed her hair back from her face. "Lets... lets just go and finish breakfast. I can't deal with this right now," she said softly, swallowing hard.
