Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

"Mm, one of a kind is a nice way to put it." He gave a smug look as he took the glass, sipping it very refined like. "Oh, so you are admitting to enjoy my company so far?". With the reply out of the way he downed the wine, not one to waste time.

"Could be worse." She said with a grin and downed her drink. "Your not as terrible as i thought but I can tolerate you, pretty boy." She said and picked up another drink.

"Are you sure drinking at a party with people I don't even know is a good way to start my first day?" He put on a smug look, before reaching around her to grab another drink.

Hunter was pretty much freestyling at the piano enjoying the feel of it. He was so grateful to have seen Freya and knowing that she was safe. He adored that girl and it brought him light to the day. He now understood why this was more of a party then a memorial. Closing his eyes as he played, he then heard footstep in his direction. Still playing he looked up and saw Idris. He flashed her a huge grin.

"Yes, and it seems to be doing wonders for you." He gave a smile before following her lead and downing the glass. "So, anyone here I should meet, or will I be spending most my time with you?".

Alissa grins. "Obviously, I'm just that amazing and wonderful to be around. And that depends if you want to meet others and be social and all that crap..." She said and picked up a third glass.

Idris wasn't looking at Hunter, she was staring at his fingers as they flew across the keyboard, absorbing the music. Her body didn't move, and her expression didn't change, but she watched the piano very seriously, a not-quite-smile on her face. "What are you playing?" She asked softly, still not looking at him.

"I am one to be quite social, for I had enough social prowess to talk to you." He laughed, but glanced around the room at anyone he could meet. Al then took a swallow of his drink, looking back to Ali.

Alissa laughs softly and smiles a bit. "I suppose that's true, you had enough guts to talk to me. Plus I'm sure you could easily charm anyone to talk to you, you have enough looks." She said and took a big swig of her drink.

"Yes, it takes quite the guts to talk to such a pretty individual." Al let the charm set in momentarily before finishing the drink. "I have the looks eh? If I'm not mistaken, you are calling me attractive." His smile turned sly, knowing he had caught her complimenting him.

(Bout to go to sleep, but I'll reply in the morning.)

(Kaaay.)

Alissa snorts as she swallows her large gulp of wine. "I would say easy on the eyes. I can easily turn that compliment into an insult pretty boy." She said while giving him a dark look, her nose is scrunched up cutely tho.

(She's almost had 8 drinks. xD she's going to be tipsy soon.)

------------

Hunter laughed '' It's called freestyling.'' He said smiling at her as he made some place for her to seat next to them. '' It's like just playing random notes and if you are good enough, it looks like a song!'' he said as he stopped playing to explain to her.

She took another tentative step forward, still looking at the piano. "I see. I've never played a piano before. Please, keep going."

Hunter laughed as he replaced himself to play. He didn't talk during the whole song since he was trying new accords and different rhythm. He never would've thought that she would of been interested in this kind of stuff but he played for her anyway. he loved the piano, that was why he was so driven to study and then work in that field. That was pretty much the only thing he was good at anyway. He closed his eyes as he hit the last notes and gently rested his fingers on the keyboard.

'' Oh... My dad is a street artist... so he knows a lot of instruments and like he also does paintings and all...In other words, he brought me into this kind of art and well since then I just always played...I mostly self taught with the help of Youtube a bit and after working a bit and with the help of my dad, I managed to get into a conservatory and well now I got a bursary in College to study in Piano.'' he said smiling.

Her voice was soft, almost reverent. "That must have been nice. I was never allowed to go near art of any kind. I can't imagine what that would've been like. I went to college as an Undecided Major, for a year, before my mother sent me away to camp."

Hunter raised an eyebrow playing a soft and simple song, '' Why so?'' he asked curious as to why she wouldn't be allowed to be near art. '' Art is so beautiful.. ''

Idris smiled. It was her usual, polite smile, but her eyes held just a hint of sadness in it. "I agree, it is beautiful, but having godly blood in me meant I was part of some great lord's house, at least to my mother. She allowed me to hunt to relieve my anger and possibly to teach me how to fight as I do, but I wasn't allowed to pursue useless things like art. I was to be a lady, and a weapon, nothing else. I had a purpose. Because she was absolutely convinced of that, I was trained with that in mind. I was taught to fight and mask my emotions, particularly pain, possibly even before I could read full sentences."

Hunter chewed on his cheek, his life was completely different. '' I was born and never knew of my godly parent. Mom..well Artemis...wanted me to live a human life since I took mostly of my father and I'm more human than most of you. Tho, I somehow... Which I knew and would of been trained from the start. You should of seen my reaction when I want to Camp Olympus. I thought my dad sent me to Psycho Camp to threat me for something hahaha, like I had no idea what all of this was.'' he trailed off laughing. He then looked at her, '' Wanna play a bit?'' he asked as he pushed himself a bit from the chair for her to seat.

"I wasn't told about it until two years ago, when I was seventeen, but she'd been preparing me my whole life. That was why I didn't doubt her, because it simply made everything click into place. The god I belong to never helped her, never did anything. He was never in my life, which was why I don't answer when people ask who my godly parent was. Father, parent. He never fit any of those words. He never will. I managed to squeeze in a year of college before I left, in exchange for the promise to my mother that I would never try to contact her afterwards, and wouldn't let anyone send her my obituary." She said this all calmly, haven gotten morbidly used to all of these things over the past year or so.

Uncertainly, she placed her fingers onto the cool wooden surface of the piano, before laughing a little. "I'm going to be horrible, I just know it." She sat down next to him, pressing one, white key with her index finger gingerly.

Hunter listened to her attentively. He didn't live the same thing so couldn't relate to it but he nodded in understanding with a small smile on his face as he looked at her. He then laughed at her comment as she started playing. He looked at the note she was about to press and immediately pressed the same one in a different octave. It was his favorite Harmony. '' Well, just this was beautiful to my ears.'' he said as he looked at her, '' Just be confident and try a bunch of stuff. Let it flow in you.'' he said trying to encourage her.

Smiling, she let her fingers play across the keyboard, beginning to play an extremely simplified version of "Viva la Vida," just by ear. Each discordant note made her hesitate, but once she figured out the notes for the chorus, she played it again with a little more confidence, beginning to experiment with the instrument. Idris began humming the next notes to herself quietly, as she continued trying to play some songs on it, her own vocal chords being the only instrument her mother hadn't been able to take away from her. She stuck with her right hand, not knowing anything about chords, so it wasn't always pretty, and the rhythm was constantly off, but she was playing, and that in itself was enough.

Fawn at the table, head bowed with Teary eyes. She sighed playing with her fingers. She missed Tom... She missed Freya. She listened to the piano being played perfectly, but with minor hesitation. She has never had never had the chance to learn about music instruments, in all honestly, she didn't even know what the topic "art" was referring to. Deep down inside of her, she resented Artemis for the life she had given her, abused and tortured on a daily bases, with no love to her name; surely no one could make their daughter go through that?

Clearly, Artemis did.
