Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Hunter wondered how come she went from almost broken looking to hard and stern eyes. It kind of shook him and he back off, '' Sure..Hum, have fun with your course.'' he said unsure if he should keep her here to talk or leave her alone with it. He hesitated but decided against him and let her go.

"Thanks Hunter," she said weakly, not able to hold the facade of strength for very long when he looked at her with such pity. She smiled sadly and walked towards her desk. There were already a few people gathered and she waited for a minute before starting the class, explaining the proper technique and pronunciation for several; Ancient Greek rituals and sacrifices. Losing herself in her work, she set up a sacrifice to the Goddess of Love, knowing that her mother was one of the few Gods who she was certain wouldn't screw her over.
As she waited for the others to copy her, she thought back to how she'd felt when Demetri had called her Kiera. Jealousy was an obvious emotion, recognizing it instantly but it was the crushing blow to her heart that surprised her and caught her off guard. Everyone assumed that just because she was one of the daughters of Aphrodite, she was supposed to be well versed in love and all things related but she really wasn't. She had no doubt in her mind that Kiera would be completely gorgeous, because she knew that that was Demetri's type. And although he'd only really shown any interest in her when he was drunk or in need of something, she couldn't help but feel like he'd betrayed her somehow. Tears threatened to flood her eyes again but she pushed them back remembering what Freya said to do if you're ever in pain. Don't let them see your pain. Be strong. Put up an impenetrable wall and they can't hurt you anymore.

Focusing back on her class, she shook away her thoughts of Demetri and concentrated on the ritual at hand. It was a simple blessing that involved little more than some Jasmine, human blood, 5 drops of water, a pinch of explosive gunpowder and a match.

Demetri rolled out of his room with just his Pyjama. He didn't understand that dream of his, he never thought of his last relationship with that chick. He honestly was not interested in remembering her in no loving way. The dream coming back to him, it was basically one of the few mornings he remembered with her when he was 17 and came back from Japan. He hadn't seen her in weeks and loved her dearly. She was basically his first love and last one. He hated her now with passion. Blur..I don't have to be reminded of that hoe. he thought roaming the hallways. He somehow felt like seeing Abby. He hadn't seen her much since this morning and he didn't even hold a conversation with her

Speaking fluently in Ancient Greek, she gave them instructions to set fire to the jasmine and burn it in the pot until the smoke appears, then add the water and use the knife on the table to slice open your hand. She showed them how to do it, slicing open her palm and dropping three small drops of blood into the pot. She barely noticed as Demetri rolled into the library, choosing to focus on the task at hand. She then instructed the class to as the gunpowder and step back as the sparks flew lightly. She could smell jasmine all around her and it relaxed her. Watching as pink smoke began to rise she smiled and instructed the class to repeat the phrase on the board, muttering it herself before closing her eyes.

Demetri entered the library as she gave out another class. He rolled his eyes seeing what they were doing, A sacrifice...wonder for what. he said as he placed himself behind all of the group. Not that he had a choice anyway. He could smell the sweet scent of the flower and looked at the pink smoke rose, he actually repeated the phrase that was on the board just for the heck of it. He enjoyed seeing Abby do all of those stuff.

Abby bid the class goodbye in fluent Ancient Greek and told them to place the pots in their rooms tonight for good luck. Turning back to the whiteboard, she cleaned it slowly before staring at the white surface for a while in silence.

Demetri rolled towards her staring at her while she did the same with the white board. He felt like something was off all morning but now it seemed worst. He touched her shoulder gently looking at her, '' Hey, you alright?'' he asked feeling a bit worried.

Abby jumped a little and looked at him with wide eyes. "Why do you keep doing that?" she asked alarmed. "It's not nice to sneak up on people, Glykia," she said as she looked at him and frowned. Shaking her head she moved over to her desk and sat on it, shifting the pot and inhaling the scent. "What can I do for you Demetri?" she asked curiously as she rubbed her eyes tiredly.

Demetri just shrugged as he just sat his elbows on the desk and his head in his palms. '' I don't sneak up..You just never notice me when I'm there.'' he simply said trailing off ''And nothing much..just felt like..seeing you I guess.'' he said looking at her pot.

"It's a sacrificial blessing to Aphrodite," she explained. "To bring good fortune in love. It's part of the Ancient Greek moderate class," she explained. "You're welcome to use it if you want. It doesn't work on me anyway." She lifted the pot and handed it to him, placing a fake small smile on her face. Honestly she didn't feel like smiling, she just wanted to curl up in bed and go to sleep.

Demetri took the pot and placed it back where she took it, ''No thanks..I don't believe in it anyways.'' he simply said smirking. He then looked at Abby, obviously seeing the fake smile but not commenting on it, '' And how come it doesn't work on you hun?'' he asked smiling at her kindly as he rested his head on his crossed arms on the desk.

"Because I can make anyone fall in love with me anytime I want. I don't really need my mothers blessing for it either," she said with a shrug. She let out a yawn and covered her mouth with her hand. "Sorry, I guess I'm really tired," she commented, pouring a glass of water into the pot to put out the small fire. She set it back on the table. "I think I'm going to go to bed now and not bother with dinner," she said looking down at her feet as she hopped off of the desk.

Demetri hated not being able to actually change how she felt, he knew something was wrong but she was either not willing to show it or simply confused. Those wheelchair were pretty much restraining him to seat and he just wanted to go over and hug her for whatever she was living through. He then grabbed her hand, maybe a dinner out of everyones view would help or just changing routines would help, he could see that she was tired tho. He let go of it and made a lop sided smile, '' Then sleep well,'' he said kindly and almost lovingly.

She stared at him confused, and frowned. Murmuring her goodbyes she left for her room, leaving her keys on her desk. She'd left the door unlocked, luckily, and quickly stripped off her dress before changing into a pair of shorts and a tank top as she curled into bed. As soon as he head hit the pillow, the wall that had held back most of her emotion dissolved and she cried herself to sleep out of frustration, anger, sorrow and confusion.

Demetri took the keys and went to her room. He only heard her sob and prefered not to just barge in.. He went to the dining room with Hunter as they ate the usually cafeteria food but he was more silent than usual. He hated seeing her cry like that and not even wanting to tell him. He kind of felt hurt about it since he thought they were pretty good friends. He ended up going to some attraction parc with Terry(@Elias Just to include him more) and Hunter. He couldn't do anything and just joined them since there was apparently fireworks and lots of music. They just found out about it because of Hunter and the ladies that were talking to him during diner. While waiting for them to finish there last ride, He ended up playing one of the address games and actually won one medium sized teddy-bear. At first, he had no idea what to do with it and Hunter proposed to throw it but he ended up keeping it for some unknown reason. They finally got back at the resort after midnight, Hunter going back to his room same fore Terry. Demetri was about to do the same but before he could, he unlocked Abby's room with the key she forgot and rolled to the dark room. He could barely see where he was going and opened one of the smallest light around. He slowly rolled next to her side bed and placed the teddy bear on the nightstand when he looked at her. She had puffy red eyes and he could see she ended up sleeping feeling like crap. He slowly trailed his finger on her cheek as he locked one of her hair back. She honestly reminded him a few years back, around her age. The last time he cried like that was because of Keira and he promised himself never love anyone. He kind of regretted making himself become so hard but it was his way of getting over his first break up. He hoped for her it wouldn't be like that, she didn't deserve such a lonely life. Her cheeks were still humid. He grabbed one of the paper around and a pencil.

Hey you,

I thought big girls don't cry!

No man is worth your tears, and the one who is won't make you cry.

Now cheer up before i come and force you that beautiful smile back on your face
>:(

The D!

He snickered using his stupid nickname but he couldn't change it since it was in ink. He placed it next to the teddy bear and exited the room soundlessly going back to his room for the night.

As Fawn walked away, Idris stared after her. What had happened? She returned to the bathroom and finished her shower quickly, dressing in the tunic and leggings she'd gotten. It did feel a little odd, not wearing worn, dirty tank top and jeans, but it was easy enough to move in, and nice to be wearing something clean. Without saying a word to anyone, she glided away from the hotel, making her way to the Acropolis, where supposedly they would have to fight kronos in five days. The ancient city was silent, oddly devoid of tourists or anyone else. It was deserted. Cautiously, Idris began scanning the layout. It was an empty, dilapidated city, but as she went farther in, it began to look cleaner and newer. Faster and deeper she went, until she found something she hadn't expected... an altar.

A great table of stone, with pictures of a man with a scythe carved into the sides was before her. The smallest splash of red stained the top, too bright for old blood, and too dark for berries or juice. Before her eyes the stain vanished, as if the table had swallowed it, or it had merely been a construct of her own mind - a prediction of what was to come. At that moment, she thought she heard high pitched laughter whispering around her, but no matter where she looked, she saw no one. Maybe the altar wasn't important. Maybe it was. Either way, she'd seen enough to get a basic feel for the layout and was done with the place. She turned to leave.

((This okay? @32sillylight32))

Abby awoke early, not feeling refreshed as she usually did. Her head was pounding and her entire body felt drained. Standing up, she grabbed her towel and headed to the bathroom to try and wash away the feeling that the dreadful nights sleep was clinging to her. She turned it on and stood under the hot stream of water, her muscles relaxing one at a time. After she'd finished washing her hair and body, she stepped out wrapped in a towel. The smell of strawberries filled the air from her shampoo and she smiled. Walking back to her room, she tried to keep in a positive state of mind that today would be better than yesterday. It wasn't like she was interested in Demetri anyway, or so she insistently told herself as she opened her bedroom door. Stepping inside she turned immediately to her wardrobe and picked out a pair of light blue jean shorts and a deep blue top that she loved.

She tied her hair up in high ponytail, letting her blonde wavy hair cascade down her back as she added a brief amount of make-up. When she'd finished, she looked in the mirror and spotted the bear out of the corner of her eye. She turned and moved over to it, reading the note slowly and frowning. She wondered how he'd gotten into her room, but it was a small question when compared to when she asked why he'd come into her room and why he'd left her the bear. Was he aware of her feelings and this was his way of telling her that she shouldn't be crying over him? Or was it just that he didn't want to see her sad. Looking back, she should have known he would notice. He was incredibly intelligent and seemed to notice everything, but as she looked down at the note she couldn't help but lean towards the first option. He was intelligent enough to notice her feelings for him, so it was completely plausible that this was his way of letting her down easy and telling her to move on. Shaking her head, she opened the draw on her bedside table and slipped the note inside. Picking up the bear, she inhaled the smell of him and hugged it to her body before setting it down on her pillow. Making her bed quickly, she made an itinerary for the day. She had another Generations histories class to teach, and her Statistics lesson had been cancelled, so she considered actually getting some training done. She hated to fight but she knew how to, and Freya insisted that she practice to keep physically fit. She had to go over the menus for next week, as well as the class schedules. They didn't have anyone new coming in, but it was completely plausible that someone could just turn up.

With a sigh, she left her room, grabbing a bagel and a coffee before heading to the library. Sitting down behind her desk, she pulled out her lesson plans and began to work on them in silence every so often taking a bite of food or a drink of her coffee.

Freya woke up the next morning with a smile on her face. Laying next to her was Luke, but he was still asleep as she rolled out of bed and re-dressed in her clothing. She grabbed a piece of the hotel stationary and wrote him a quick note before heading back to her room.

Morning sleepyhead,

Went to a temple in the Ancient Agora of Athens in need of some spiritual and parental guidance.

I'm sorry I couldn't be there when you woke up you looked just too peaceful sleeping there.

We should talk about last night later.

Love you!

Freya xox

(
@Elias )

Placing it on the pillow next to him, she quietly snuck into her room and changed into an orange top, dark wash jean shorts and a pair of tan high heels. Stepping out of her room, she began to walk towards the town center. She knew immediately where she was headed, towards the north west corner of Athens. The last time she'd been here had been sixth months ago when she'd spotted Abby and taken her in, although in reality Abby had taken her in. Freya had become her legal guardian shortly after, along with seven other Demigods. Since then she hadn't really had time to come back, and although there was a temple on Kythira it wasn't quite the same. Stepping inside, her heart began to pound as she felt her mothers presence. It was early, not more than 4 or 5am, and there were very few people out which was the reason she'd come so early. Taking in a deep breath she began to pray. Putting her bag to the floor, she sat cross legged and pulled out a large golden bowl. In it she placed a handful of grapes, a handful of basil leaves, a glass dolphin statue and water from the fountain or Aphrodite. Cutting her hand open on one of her knives she dropped blood into the bowl and set it on fire throwing a dash of gunpowder in for effect.

"Mother to me, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love,

Hear my prayer, in my hour of need,

I ask of you to give me the strength, guidance, and inner knowing

To realize my own value, my own worth

Help me to see and celebrate the Gifts You have given me

Help me to Honor Myself, and in doing so, Honor You.

In this I pray."

"That was lovely," a woman's voice asked and Freya recognized it immediately.

"Thank you," Freya said with a kind smile, turning to see her mother standing in her human form.

"Why have you asked me here Freya Nadra? You know Zeus forbids it," she said frowning.

"I'll apologize in a moment, but you know I would not have asked you here if it were not important. Surely you know that we are here to fight Cronus," Freya said, getting to her feet.

"We do know Freya, but you know there is nothing that I can do. The council feels that you can all manage it, and so you shall."

"But you know we cannot! It took centuries for the Olympians to overthrow Cronus, and even then only Zeus managed it. I fear we are not powerful enough, even together. There are so few of us now."

"Freya. All I can do is promise that I will bring it up with the council again. And many are sympathetic to what you ask, but I fear that it is not enough."

"Thank you for trying mama," she said smiling at her. She bowed politely and Aphrodite moved forward and pressed a finger to Freya's forehead.

"You're smart Freya, use your head and I'm sure you'll prevail."

Bowing again, Aphrodite disappeared and Freya sighed. Gathering her things, she extinguished the fire and prepared to make an apologetic offering to Zeus.

The days since the other demigods left felt very long to Terrrence. He regreted it now, for not joining them, for not standing up for what's right. Defeat Kronos. Snickering to himself he entered his room, dropping the prizes he won at the park on his deserted bed. Standing down, he started to think. Some son of Athena was he. His mother most certainly shouldn't be proud of him. She was the goddess of strategy, of wisdom. Some strategist, wise guy he was... He sometimes doubted he was the son of Athena. Maybe he belonged to Hermes or anyone else. But he didn't feel like the son Athena would want.

Sighing, he grabbed his golden cutlass and placed it back into it's scabbard. Opening his closet, he chose some new clothes: a pair of black jeans, a gray shirt, and a black jacket over it. Grabbing his sunglasses and his cowboy hat, he went outside. He silently made a vow to himself, that on the next mission, he will be there to assist whoever was going..... Gazing at the sun, Terry headed for the beach, and sat in his favourite spot...

Luke slowly opened his eyes, feeling the warmth the sun gave through the closed curtains. It was another day. A beautiful day. Looking to his left, he noticed he was alone in bed. Standing up, his eyes fell on a nearby note. He picked it up and started reading it, a smile loosening on his face as he reached the words ''Love you''. Standing up, Luke exited his room and went downstairs to take breakfast. Afterall, they won't defeat Cronos with an empty stomach.

Hunter assisted Abby's class once again, he loved how she would teach and to add up, he felt less stupid all the time. He walked towards her when she dismissed the class. '' You teach really well! I'm kind of Jealous of you guys...you like know all those stuff.. I barely knew who Artemis was until I got to the camp.'' he said chuckling at his own ignorance.

-----

Demetri woke up and grabbed a coffee at the cafeteria before going to the training ground. He couldn't just let go of his training habits or else he would just end up like a fat guy and lose all of his muscles. He adapted his training to the fact that he had restrained mobility, so he made sure all of his exercise would be for his Arms.

Abby smiled. "Thanks," she said. "You should have seen me when I started, I was awful," she said with a laugh. "But it's like they say, 'Knowledge is power'. The more you know, the easier it is to understand. Like if your battling a cyclops, and you've taken Freya's class you automatically know that they have four weaknesses. Eyes, Neck, Stomach and Feet." She shrugged and looked up at Hunter, biting her bottom lip nervously. "You could sign up if you want. Or we could arrange for you to teach if you decide to stay. I know we've been looking for a music teacher and it pays pretty well." She shrugged again and looked sown at her feet.

--------

Freya returned to the hotel after her apology to Zeus, but half way back she decided to check back in with the resort. Pulling out her walkie talkie, she buzzed it twice. "Anyone there?" she asked.

--------

Abby jumped with a start and picked up the device on her hip. "Abby here, how you doing Frey?"

--------

"I'm great thanks, hows everything going back home?"

--------

"Not as great as it is there by the sounds of it. You sound far to pleased with yourself for so early in the morning. You got some last night. Who was it, a local or a Demigod?"

--------

Freya giggled and sighed. "Demigod. But I don't kiss and tell. Look I gotta go, I just got back to the hotel. Talk to you later love!"

-------

Abby laughed. "Laters sister." Abby looked back up at Hunter and smiled. "Well it seems she got over you by getting under someone else," she teased, grinning.

Hunter rolled his eyes with a small smile tugging his face, '' We never had anything for her to get over. By the way, the powers did subdue now and I feel the same as before that stupid kiss! Say hi to her from my part!'' he said with a bright smile. He then thought of her proposition,''Well, I always thought music to others..So, it would be fun I guess to get a pay.'' he said thinking about it. He was pretty sure that he would be staying maybe until the end of the month. So a small job in the mean time could be fun.

Abby shifted into the appearance of her sister and focused on reading his levels of lust and love as she looked up at him sweetly. "Tell her yourself, though I can't guarantee she'll want to talk to you. As for the classes, you set your own schedule but I recommend setting up a schedule of when you want to teach and sticking it on the music room door. It's how we usually advertise placements."

'' Ok cool, I'll think about it tho till Ira comes and also, I just noticed how Freya is smaller than you'' Hunter said chuckling and petting her. He had a small blush but that was almost always there when he was talking to a girl such as Abby. He then looked at her, ''Say, can you transform into a guy?'' he asked curiously walking out of the library with her.

Abby swatted his hand away. "I have no idea. I've never tried. I don't think so? I know we can do mythological creatures and animals but I've never tried men...." she said thinking about it as she walked with him. "In all honesty I'm not sure why I'd want to either," she said as she wrinkled her nose. "Wanna go mess with Demetri?" she asked, getting a glimmer of mischief in her eye as she came up with a plan to try and mess with him.

Hunter's eyebrow were high in amusement, '' Of course'' he said winking at her, '' what is your plan?'' he asked expecting something very evil because of that glimmer in her eye.

------

Demetri was panting at this point. Since this morning he was just training his arms and in all honesty, they felt as numb as his legs at this point. With the little energy left in his biceps, he managed to get back on his wheelchair and just sat there shirtless. He felt dead and knew he had to roll back to his room.
