August tends to be on more of the shielded side of the family, His brothers try their best to keep him out from harms way but August will go and look for trouble. He desperately wants to prove to his brothers that he can be apart of the Gang so he tries to "solve problems" When in reality he only makes them worse. He hates the fact that he never saw war like his brothers and feels utterly useless at times. Even though he sees himself as nothing, this isn't true. Augustus is extremely gifted when it comes to anything academic, and excels in school.because he is the only one in the family attending school he feels as if his brothers use that as a way to keep him from joining the gang but that won't stop him from trying.

Although he may seem like the "sing in a tavern" type guy, he is one of the most feared Underbosses. People fear him so much so, that a family would rather kill and rob one another than fail to pay him. It is rumored that the reason Liev drinks so often is because of the war. While in reality he drinks to forget the recent murder of his wife, who he believes was murdered by the Murphy gang.

Kaven's father was Nicolai Lee's Underboss and trusted advisory for years before the war, growing up in the household of Nico, Jaelle and Emilia he felt very much like part of their family.
War came and Kaven was drafted like many of the men of his age, including Nicolai's eldest son Nico. War was hell on Kaven and his rather soft personality but the years watching people he knew and loved die brutally around him dug at his soul, and he vowed if he made it home, back to Brimingham and his family he would do everything in his power to prevent anyone else from suffering as he had. He witnessed the horrid death Nico; his best friend had taken a bullet to the belly and died in his arms, the army medic's unable to do anything, not even ease the man's pain.
Upon returning to England it was clear Nicolai's personality had turned for the worse with the news of his son's death. While he had 'adopted' Kaven into the roll, teaching the man as he had Nico, the ins and outs of running the family, he was no longer the same.
He soon asked Nicolai permission to marry his daugher, Jaelle, and while Nicolai agreed because he believed it would solidify is position as the next Head of the Family, in truth it was because he and Jaelle had been long time lovers.
