Small Big Heroics

I was thinking a sion of Robin Hood:

Associated Powers: Epic Charisma, Epic Dexterity, Epic Stamina, Epic Wits, Chaos, Darkness, Fertility, PSP.

Abilities: Awareness, Integrity, Larceny, Marksmanship, Stealth, Survival.

The recent 99% wealth versus poor class struggles means the time is ripe for a Robin.

Robin Hood is a prime example of legendary human who becomes deified, although I would prefer you'd use the write-up in the Companion book. You should also check out the house-rules in the sub-forum for the altered character-creation rules. I'm leaning towards Túatha (I usually do for the British legends) but if you have a better idea I would like to hear it.

Damn is this full yet?
I have no preference as to how many players this game gets, at least not yet. I am actually not sure how many I've got. Depending on the number of players, I might split the group into separate quests that may or may not interact. So the answer is "no", this is not full yet.

Sweet. Does this war thing mean the Atzlaniti are off limits? I love those bloodthirsty bastards. Or will we be sticking to the Túatha de Danaan and their allies?

I am leaning towards a Scion of Luge from the Tuatha De Dannan

No, your choice of Pantheons are unaffected by the war and we are not limiting ourselves to the Túatha and their allies. In fact, the Atzlánti and the Túatha are on the same side in the war (doesn't make much sense, I'm sure, but the decision was based on my RL players and their characters).

Which of the companion books?
One of the Scion books is actually titled Companion. It includes the Túatha, the Celestial Bureaucracy and the Devas, as well as some fictional Allied and Yankee Pantheons (Robin Hood is presented in the Allied). The Allied and Yankee Pantheons are not available to your characters, nor their PSPs.

Cool will look at those or maybe the Devas, Persian or Celestial Bureaucracy. I think the Norse, Loa, Japanese and Greek are cool but in all the Scion games I have been in they are the ones people tend to flock too so I am a but burned out on them.

Hmm, Not sure I understand the whole Geasa PSP... Is it really just Arete, but weaker, and with drawbacks, or am I missing something?

Geasa are part of the Enech Purview, which is more than just the Geasa. It also includes ways to read the glory of others, their virtues and legend, and to some extend manipulate it. One method of manipulating it is the ability to lay Geasa onto others, although you have no control over what Geas it is.

Geasa are two-fold: On one hand there's the bonus, which can be represented in dice or some other benefit (ability to heal rapidly, for example), and on the other hand there is the ban, essentially something that you are not allowed to do unless you lose the bonus and turn it into penalty. One character in my RL group gets a bonus to her Medicine rolls as long as she allows no harm to come to swans. If any swan suffers any harm, preventable or not, the bonus turns into penalty of equal value (her +11 dice become -11 dice).

Expressing interest. Had to drop out of the last one due to unforeseen issues, but those are out of the way now.

As I've said before, I have no preference as to how many players join up and no one is required to join right now. You can join in later on if you like.

The number of interested players is getting a bit high so I guess I'll split the group into at least two.

This is my last post for the night. Don't worry if I don't answer right away, I am hopefully just sleeping.

[QUOTE="Red Shadow Claws]Room for one more player?! Got an idea for a Yazata scion...

Sure thing. I have no idea how many players there are, but it seems we're at least splitting the group in two, possibly three, so that no one is stepping on anyone's toes. It may seem a bit big, but let's see where it leads us. Come join the fun!

I am thinking either Tezcatlipoca or Agni as a patron. Oh choices choices.
Being the Scion of Tezcatlipoca would offer some cool role-playing moments, since there may not be that many fans of his around after the London incident. Agni is still pretty cool but would be the safer choice if you want to avoid sudden retaliations from anyone trying to get back at Tez (mostly just petty attempts). In either case, I don't think anyone is planning on playing a Scion of either the Atzlánti or Devas.

Cool I'll ponder that and see what I can come up with. I imagine with the fair Indian population a Scion of the Devas might fit in better in London, but as you say the other option could be interesting----hmmmmm.
