Realistic or Modern Sleeping Tradgedy

I'm not buying it that's who I am.

"Victoria. Victoria Grey." She said with untrusting eyes. This girl seemed to be off. There was just something wrong about her. Maybe it was because Victoria was literally in a mental asylum full of people who seemed off but that was just her feeling at the moment.

"Oh wow, what a beautiful name I love it! It sounds so mysterious and elegant." Lilly said excitedly. "If you don't mind me for inquiring how old are you?"

"16, 17 in a few months I think." Internally she hit herself. Yea, totally show her that some parts of your memory are gone, genius plan Vic, mind if I use it?

"You can't remember your birthday? I always remember mine. I love my birthday! I turned 14 in late July. You are older than me!" she exclaimed.

Vexx sighed in annoyance at the sight of Dominic moving to the seat next to him. How in the hell could he ditch this kid? Vexx watched as everyone else milled around the small lounge, they seemed to be chatting it up as though they weren’t mass murderers with no heart! He laughed at this thought, but something caught his eye, Female alert. “Oh god...” He mumbled as she approached and sighed again as she pointed to him.

"Sorry..." Dominic mumbled, his hands fidgeting in his lap. His eyes darted around the room at rapid pace before staring at the too clean, too white floor.

"Dommy. You're doing that thing again. Your neck is twitching. Are you okay?" his sister asked, tilting her head.

"I'm fine, Victoria. Just anxious," he replied, doing his best to actually make his voice audible.

           "Nah uh. What's wrong?"

Dominic snapped his head up and gave his sister a glare with indescribable frustration. "Could it possibly be that I'm stuck here for God knows how long for something I can't remember? Could it be that?" His voice was harsh, but still quiet. He looked back down at the floor, deciding not to speak again.

Vexx turned towards Dominic, a disapproving scowl on his lips, “You should be nicer to your sister.” He scolded, turning his attention back towards the annoying sparkling walls. This place seemed pretty clean for a nuthouse, at least now he knew he wouldn’t have to clean it up and such.

Deciding to be stubborn, Dominic remained silent instead of answering Vexx. He just didn't get it. His sister was impossible. Not to mention, Dominic was already ridiculously stressed out and he couldn't handle being social with anyone. Except maybe Vexx, who seemed not to like Dominic. So fat chance. He let out a sigh, wishing his brain would just stop so he could relax.

Verele was lead out of her room after she had taken her medication. The hand of a nurse firmly on her back, telling her which way to go. Finally, she was lead into an area where others had gathered. They were an odd assortment but none the less she assumed they all had something in common or else they would not be there. She was obviously late to the party, most separating into groups as they talked amongst themselves. The nurse's hand had left her back leaving Verele to feel slightly anxious, scanning the room as she tried to get a feel for her situation.

Lilly saw Verle standing alone "Excuse me miss!" She yelled out to her "You seemed bored. Would you like to join our pleasant conversation?" she invited politely with a wide grin. @Aio

"From the looks of it I might be older that a lot of these kids." She said under her breath, slightly annoyed. She hated being older than people or younger people. She liked the nice middle where no one bothered you and no one cared.

Lilly smiled "That's okay I like being younger then most people. Because then adults pay attention and give me more gifts than my older counterparts."

Vexx’s eyes softened as he sat through Dominic’s quiet tantrum, “You okay?” He asked, playfully poking the boy in the ribs with his lean finger. A crooked smile overtook his lips as he awaited the others answer, hoping his actions lightened the mood.

"Fucking peachy," Dominic replied, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Wait, no. Why shouldn't he? He rolled his eyes, and when Vexx tried to touch him, he quickly moved to avoid it. He tried to be angry, but Vexx's smile was really cute. It made the corner of his lips turn up just a tad. "Don't touch me," he said, trying to be stern.

“You’re horrible at pretending to be mad,” Vexx continued, his eyebrow twitching as he chuckled. “And are you sure you don’t want me touching you?” He asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. He waited for a look of horror maybe even a snarl from the other male while smiling at his sister and giving her a small thumbs up.

((By the way Jack's insanity levels are prone to rise...))

Jack smiles (like usual) and looks around the area. [insert description here]

He then hears the whispers of OGLOGOTH, THE DEEP ONE. Jack must escape this place. He must escape and survive.

((Oglogoth was not the being that spoke to Jack that one night, but is rather probably a result of degraded sanity))

Jack grabs a nearby toothbrush and sharpens it against the wall. He then hides the weapon in his right sleeve. Jack looks outside his cell and asks, "Anyone there?"

"Don't be nasty," Dominic told him, again rolling his eyes. "And yes, I don't want you to touch me. I hate when people touch me," he muttered, wrapping himself in his arms. He tried glaring at Vexx, but he wasn't angry enough and his chocolate eyes were too soft.

"He likes you," Victoria mouthed to Vexx, wiggling her eyebrows before she burst into laughter.

Vexx followed Victoria’s actions, bursting into a fit of overly loud laughter, His face contorted into the perfect image of happiness, if only for just a moment, before he started calming himself as his features returned back to his normal ‘I don’t care’ look; although a smile still etched his thin lips. “I can tell.” He mouthed back.

At the loud and unexpected laughter, Dominic's hands started shaking and fidgeting. He slunk into his seat, staring at the floor for a while. After a few moments, he looked back up at Vexx, seeing a smile on his lips. It made his heart flutter strangely, and he tilted his head in slight confusion. "You're smiling," he said, almost as a question.

Victoria giggled again, playing with Dominic's hair. "What's your name again?" she asked, looking at Vexx.

"Uhhh...Yea I guess so." She said, shifting weirdly. Her red flags were waving high in her head but she ignored them and carried on in the conversation.

"So I'm sorry if my next question is a tad...personal but why are you are here?" she said still with a smile.
