It was horrifying. Terra was reading a book at the dinner table when her father had fallen down from above, landing in a heap. She had panicked and tried to help him, to no avail. Her father was whisked to the hospital and she tried as much as she could to help the ER doctors. She almost lost him...
There were tears in the girl's eyes and she wiped them away, shamed that she had been caught with moist eyes in public.

Takao looked upset after he had noticed the tears in her eyes. "T-terra I'm sorry..I didn't know." He stops her in the hall and hugs her. "Im a hugger..you may have to get used to this." He felt really bad for bringing the situation up and wanted to make her feel better. I'm such an idiot..

Mr. Grey was sitting at his desk in the classroom, shooting occasional glances at Jane. She glanced back, both of them having a non-vocal conversation with their eyes, mostly about last night. She mouthed the words 'weird being normal by day', he nodded in response.

One by one, Amelia watched the others leave to get to class. "I could really use a hug right now," she said to herself, thinking back home to her stuffed bear Edmund waiting for her on her bureau. She gathered her things about her and went to head to class before being stopped by the nurse.
"Ms. Larson, could I have a word?" she asked Amelia, but it wasn't a request. Amelia stopped where she was and turned to face the older woman. "People don't just hyperventilate. Is everything alright? Did something happen to you?" she pried out of concern. Her face was wrinkled with worry. Amelia felt like she wanted to tell the nurse everything that had happened, just so she could have someone to talk to, to talk her through her feelings.
But she couldn't. Amelia was a... Slayer. And Slayers didn't have peers except for each other. Unfortunately, Amelia's peers were clearly stronger than she was. "No," Amelia answered before leaving. It sounded like Amelia was answering the last question, but both she and the nurse knew she was answering the first. Amelia made her way to Mr. Grey's classroom and took her seat front and center again, laying her pens out in their proper places, getting ready to take notes.

He walked by not wanting to interfere with the two, Seems that letter he wrote on the first day wasn't true, now he likes Terra.... Tsk Tsk, what a player. He walked to the class and without even thinking gave a wink to Mr. Grey, that kind of wink a 1st grader would give to his buddy when they had a stupid secret, yep the one with the cheesy grin and all. With that out of the way he came to Jane's desk, leaning on it slightly, letting his muscular frame to be seen through the t-shirt, flexing only slightly. "Good morning beautiful," He gave her a sincere grin, "You ran off from me rather quickly this morning.".

She said, sassy as ever. Man...why can't I take a freaking compliment? She thought to herself. "And I only ran because Amelia was okay, letting me know I could go to class." She said, then looking back down to her iPod for music, catching a glimpse of Luke's tight athletic shirt as he flexed slightly. She rolled her eyes.
