Takao and Luke reentered the room, "We just go and stop to get some gas and matches, simple as that."

Takao walks back outside and hears all of what she had to say. "Well I say we go burns some damn trolls then. Ya know what would be useful? Some magic..I wonder if these rings have any magical capabilities?"

"We could just take Mr. Grey. It's clear he knows magic pretty well." Jane suggests.

"Someone go get him. Maybe there is something he isn't telling us. He clearly didn't want to tell us about having to burn trolls the first time." Takao remarks.

 

[Hibiscus]

"Jane's fiery attitude could set it on fire. She's already lit a fire in my heart." He chuckled giving a wink to the girl as he walked over inside the pit.

"Remember, Jock, I have two swords and I'm not afraid to use them." Jane snaps over at Luke. "And Takao's right...why didn't Mr. Grey tell us to burn them?"

 

[Hibiscus]

"Testing our metal, see if we could handle them first." He became a little less bold after her statement.

"Wonder what the hell else he is keeping from us.." Takao walks inside of the pit and looks for Mr. Grey. "Mr. grey??"

Mr. Grey appears in a flash of smoke. Total cliche. "Yes?" Mr. Grey said.

"Can we all talk with you?" He starts to head outside.

 

[MysticPisces]

Amelia held up a pouch she had been carrying under her arm the entire time. "No need to get gasoline or matches or magic," Amelia replied, directing the last part, grudgingly, at Jane. "You were in a hurry to kill. Naturally, some things were lost in the rush. Mr. Grey wasn't planning anything sinister, believe me," she said, almost scolding them. "This is potassium powder, found in any science lab. It's super flammable and even reacts to water. Easy as pie," she added, starting to leave the garage.


"And really," she said, looking over her shoulder at the others, "I've got this on my own. I just... need some time to think about some things."

 

[Soviet Panda]

"Magic would be awsome." Conner stated. Finally, he could shoot fireballs like every fantasy game he's ever played.


(Goin to bed. I don't want to read 4/5 pages when I get up.)

Mr. Grey nodded at Takao. Jane spoke up. "Amelia, wait. It may be dangerous, at least let one of us go with you...please?" Jane pleaded, really caring for Amelia's safety all of a sudden. Her eyes showed her care, just wanting her to be safe.

"Mr. Grey, Why didn't you tell us about burning the trolls? Is there anything else we don't know that you need to tell us??"

"Oh, Ms. Larson's got that covered. She's quite the bright mind." He said, referring to Amelia.

 

[MysticPisces]

"Thank you, Mr. Grey," she said, practically taking a bow with her praise. "You see? I've got this, guys. Get some rest, I'll see you all tomorrow." With this, she turned on her heel, stuffing the pouch into her purse between another old tome and her piccolo, the reference book clutched against her chest. "Au revoir, good night!" she called back to the group as she walked off into the night.

Jane sighed. "She could at least stay for the debriefing,"she said. But Amelia was wearing her ring still...Jane could use that to follow her if needed. She kept the thought of that in the back of her head. Mr. Grey proceeded on with the debriefing. "Good work tonight, everyone. You've all proven your worth, and that it is your destinies to be the Slayers...now, are you up for the task? Will you continue to defend our world from beasts, in time slaying your personal enemy beasts?" He said. Jane nodded. "Count me in, Mr. G. Saving the world sounds like fun, especially after tonight."

 

[Hibiscus]

"Can't let Jane do it by herself, count me in." He gave a smile to Jane, gesturing for her to acknowledge his bigger sword, which he was quite proud of.

Jane smirked. "C'mon, anyone else wanna step in? Anyone wanna be a badass and take on destiny?" Jane said, encouraging the others.

He looks over to Amelia. "Alrighty then. I suppose we should go end these trolls once and for all."

"Amelia's got it apparently, Takao." Jane said. "But I'm assuming your in?"

"Psh. Am I in..?" He jumps into the car. "I''m the first one in the car aren't I" Takao laughs.

Jane rolls her eyes, "Takao, I'm pretty sure Amelia's got it. Burning a few dead bodies is easy work....creepy that I just said that." Jane said.

"I mean hey it doesn't hurt to have some back up in case things get hairy right?
