Fantasy Skyrim RP? (OPEN)

@Oenanthe

I guess that's okay then. I usually prefer to play antagonists but I guess I can be on the same side if I have to.

As for the skills debate, there's a mod on Skyrim that kind of does that for followers to help with tactics. When you click on the skills menu for your follower, it says something like:

My best skills are:

Only top 3 skills are shown

Skill 1: perk exp here

Skill 2: perk exp here

Skill 3: perk exp here

And I move best in 'armor type: perk exp here'

Maybe something like that without the perk exp?

I would so love a Skyrim roleplay!! As long as I can be a Redguard ^-^ also, I'm for plot three. Also I agree with what you said about level 50 and over, iz borin! But there will be no evil cultists? ;-; okie..

(Don't worry, I swear I don't roleplay like that. I just talk like it hehe)

@Oenanthe

(@Whisker I agree!! With youuu!!)

@Whisker I have the console version so unfortunately Skyrim mods are beyond me, I'll take your word for it though. How about something like this?

Armor Type: ( Light, Heavy, or Enchanted)

Hobby Type: ( Smithing, Alchemy, Enchanting, Sneak, Block, Speech, Pickpocketing, Lockpicking )

Weapon Type: ( Two-handed, One-handed, Magic, Archery)

(Mages) School of Expertise: ( Illusion, Conjuration, Destruction, Restoration, or Alteration)

Got it! Also, I'm glad you picked redguard because I don't see a lot of people playing them, which is a shame because their warriors are hardcore.

There is just one problem with the 3rd plot. That will involve our characters moving around a lot and unless everyone is active, I am afraid it might not work out well.

@the ordinary tune Haha. I know. I would have loved to play an evil boethia cultist or something .... but its fine. Ill get my chance to be villainous someday.

Looks like plot 3 it is. Do you guys have any ideas to add to it? I honestly don't know how we will make it work because there will be a lot of traveling involved and members would fall very far behind if they don't respond constantly.

I think that we'll just have to go off of the 'trust wagon'. We can also make a sort of posting rule, so that the role-play won't be swamped. For example, once you post, you must wait for two different people to post before you can post again.

@Oenanthe

Are we assuming this is before or after the Vigilantes were attacked by the vampires?

Because if so, we could incorporate that in and say that we are just the hand full left after the hall was destroyed. We could either be attack survivors and/or simply not be there when the attack occurs (like the few you see wandering Skyrim from time to time). Maybe we could even be hunted by them from time to time?

We should also target a specific cult/item/artifact first and throw it up in the overview/ooc thread so newcomers and those late in responding know what we're hunting and can thus post accordingly. This is, of course, just my opinion.

@Whisker I think it would be better to say we are survivors maybe some were wandering, some are new, some hid out, some escaped, ect.

I'll make sure to post the current item on the Overview. Also, there are not infinite artifacts so we will have to make sure that no one godmods and that it takes time to find each one.

@Oenanthe

Cool. That just leaves us a specific group/artifact to target ....

Maybe Molag Bal out of revenge? That'd make some vampires angry ...

I am interested in this as well. I am wondering though on the max limit for posts? I can at times write up to 8+ paragraphs at times generally more.

It doesn't really matter to me which artifact we go after first, just one more off our to do list :)

I kind of like the idea of us surviving an attack on our hall, similar to the opening tutorial of skyrim in Helgen. Whichever daedric cult chose to slaughter our friends and hall would obviously be our first target, and we could take it from there.

I also wanted to ask about dragons. Will they be a threat to us during our journey? I was kind of thinking to ignore the concept of Alduin and incorporate daedric princes into the reason for dragons, and maybe have a dragon for each prince? We obviously can't defeat a daedric prince, but maybe their dragon avatar in skyrim? Just a thought, even if we only do it for maybe one of the daedric princes. Maybe the artifact could be the dragon's heart or something? I'm just brain vomiting at this point lol ^^

Well then I will do what I can to make my post shorter. In one of my 1x1 I have been writing 10+ paragraphs. However I think I can work with 5 to 6 just expect really long paragraphs. :P

Ah, but you forgetting that Alduin is the Nordic equivalent of Akatosh, the dragon God of time. So, technically, we have already incorporated gods and dragons. What about something a bit different?

Alduin and Akatosh are two different beings. Akatosh is a god of logic, alduin is an actual dragon in the physical world who is just really powerful. Very possible to have one without the other.

Alduin is not Akatosh but Akatosh is Alduin. Alduin was his "son" and most powerful creation, the first dragon
