Fantasy Skyrim RP? (OPEN)

i was thinking a open world rp where were all sepereat charicters wondering the world
I'm afraid that would be too confusing and too separate. Great for 1x1 or if we had a TON of people but too spread out for a collective RP.

hmmm how about a group of people collecting the dadric wepons ad distroying them
I added that to the plots. I am assuming that's where your vote is going. Also, please help me recruit people.

Alright! Im digging this place already since it has a Skyrim rp about to go up!

I'm liking the sound of two ... but I guess Im okay with 3 as well .... if I can play as one of the cultists/opposing forces.

Welcome! i'm sure you will love it!

@Whisker Sorry, but I would like us to be all on the same side on that one.

@StoneWolf18 It depends, if everyone will contribute I think we can easily make this at least 5 paragraph replies but I doubt that will work so I'm not really sure.

Woah, 5 paragraphs? Thats pushing it a bit. If it were to be THAT detailed, a more "Set in stone" plot would need to be formed, more players, annnnd people playing both sides.

I have ran quite a few detailed RP's and I'm just going of off experiences.

Also a little side note, if we don't have people on both sides and just conflict with NPCS, were bound to "win" per say. So, why not make things interesting?

Haha okay sorry, we can definitely tone it down. And yeah don't worry I am just in the forming stages, we will have a more concrete plot and I'm working on getting more people. I guess this site doesn't do that, the last platform I used, 5 paragraphs was average. I usually went around 7. I guess every site is different.

@drummerboi

I was also thinking, for all of us who have played skyrim, I'm sure we've all made level 50 (at least) super indestructible characters that can handle almost anything that comes their way. I think there should be a starting level cap, and a detailed distribution of level points relevant to that cap so our characters don't start off too OP.

Also, 5 paragraphs seems like an awful lot :/

Don't worry we wont be writing 5 paragraphs.

I don't think levels will be used here. It will be a bit more on the realistic and we will just have to call someone out if they start to godmod. Besides, in my experience after 50 everything is boring.

Couldn't agree with you more lol but I was thinking to use the levels concept just as a guideline for our character's abilities IC. Or at least our skills in the various branches of the ability tree. Everything IC would still be very natural without any reference to levels or anything like that. But I don't mean to go aginst your decisions, just throwing some ideas out.

I wouldn't add skill trees and what not. I think something like this:

Father was a blacksmith, was trained not only to forge weapons but handle themselves in combat. Doesn't know how to read all that well and can't cast a spell to save their live.

@StoneWolf18

That's basically what I had in mind. Maybe pick 2 skills from the game that can be what they are good at, 1 that is their specialty. 2 that they are bad at, 1 that they just can't do.

@Oenanthe I like that a lot. I'm a fan of setting up a skill set (especially when basing an RP off of a video game) just to give other players a concrete idea of how your character will work IC. Even more detailed than pick 2 pick 1 etc, we could be given a set number of points and distribute them amongst the skill tree, ignoring all perks within the skill tree. This is most important for spell casters, assuming we'll be sticking to the spell sets already laid out in the game.

I love Skyrim! Generally the whole Elder Scrolls series tbh,

I'd love to roleplay any of the three ideas but if I had to pick I'd definitely choose idea one~
