Coran Selet
Grizzled Bastard

Coran just stared at the Dark Elf that was still pleading with the guards to let her through. She looked desperate and concerned. He just sighed at her and looked back at the executioner and the line of prisoners. He examined the prisoners, the female Khajiit seemed to be doing something, cupping her hands around some sort of magic or item, he couldn't make it out entirely. A small smirk found its' way onto his face as he watched the prisoners. An escape attempt? Bold. Not impossible either. Kill the Stormcloaks and you may win your freedom. He thought to himself.

Another roar, this one louder and closer. It filled the air and echoed throughout the town. Massive black wings covered the sky and a scaled beast landed on the tower, causing the ground to rumble. "A bloody Dragon... What's next, the Septims are going to return?" Coran scoffed under his mask, not wavered by the beast. The Dragon... shouted, causing many to panic even more and even many to fall. The Old Mercenary would lose his footing for a second before putting a hand to the ground to stabilize himself.

"Well... Shit." Coran said in a surprised tone. Not in all his years had he ever seen a dragon, I mean they were thought to be extinct. He shook his head and took a deep breath, regaining his level-headedness. He turned around to see many of the people running towards one of the towers for safety. The Dunmer female and male made it in shortly before the two Khajiit did. He made his way towards the tower, punching a woman square in the jaw. She was crying and begging for his help. Coran could care less though, and well punched her. The Imperial Centurion closed the door to the tower before he could get in. He scoffed before seeing a fireball head towards the Imperial, and creating a crack into an underground cavern.

Coran lightly jogged over to the crack, looking down and then back up, "Death by dragon or possibly breaking a leg... Breaking a leg it is." He stated before jumping into the crack, following the Centurion who had just been thrown in...

She smiled and pressed her palms to his chest, tipping her head,"Man of few words; I like it." brushing a knuckle down one of his saber teeth and up to his cheek, she purred and raised her brows,"Cmon lets get out of here and you can Hunt some Imperials or some rich bastard; they fatten up on some really good stuff. Melts in your mo-" another crack send splinters of the door and pebbles richoche into the tower, making the Nightengale shield her face with an arm.

Spotting the crack in the ground she pointed to it."There."

Addie heard the roars and thought it was best to leave town slowly she nudged her horse doing an 180 and started to slowly gallop out of the town. Out of nowhere, the dragon roars breaks through the sky again as the big black beast flies and lands on a watch tower near the prisoners a piece of debris come flying landing right behind her the horse reared up knocking her back Addie's head landing against the debris. When Addie woke back up the town looked worse than before bodies were thrown everywhere dead buildings are getting crushed to dust under the power of the black dragon, Addie slowly tried to stand up but fell on her left side forgetting she lost the arm. After she finally moved herself to a standing position she felt something wet in her hair and used her hand rubbing the back of her head she pulled back and her hand was covered in blood her hair bright red from the scarlet blood.

For the time that she was touching up R'Jeer seemed to give off something like a purr rather a growl. And when she pointed to the crack he looked to it, although he didn't know what she meant.
"Mate want go crack?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.

Milsni watched the two Khajit in the tower with them, but didn't say a word to them, she instead held her brother's hand and hoped for the best.

Elene, who was trapped outside was fighting back, shooting arrow after arrow at the dragon. However, with each arrow, the only thing changing was the numberer of arrows she had. They had no effect on the beast. She stopped, only knowing that she had to save them. A large boom was heard throughout the village, and she looked down being face-to-face with a large gap in the ground. She saw one person who fell and another who jumped inside. Apparently, this was an escape. But she did not jump. She tried to search for her friend, Mil. She wanted to see her escape too.

"Mil!" She called. "Milnsi!" She called a second time, this time getting a response. "Elene, in the tower!" the dunmer replied. The high elf sprinted over and entered seeing two khajits. They were both part of the prison group. She carefully passed them and then went over to Mil and the mysterious dark elf beside her. "Who is this?" She questioned first. "This is Meveds, my brother. I'm not sure why he's here. Last I saw him he was back on Morrowind." She frowned. Mev rubbed his eyes, still a bit effected from the shock. "Well you cannot stay here. The dragon will tear this place apart. I found an escape route, but we have to go. Now." She ordered. Mil nodded, and put her brother's arm around her neck, lifting him off the ground. Elene went beside him as well, helping him get outside and towards the crater as fast as possible. "Now this is deep. If you let me go first and jump after me, I'll catch him and then you. He is in no condition to jump down this thing by himself." She said. "I'll tell you when." She jumped down into the hole, landing on her feet. A sting of pain filled her legs from the impact, but nothing she couldn't handle. She looked up, and called out to them. "Jump!"

Mil positioned her brother on the side of the hole, and whispered "trust me" in his ears. He nodded and she pushed him. He was falling, then suddenly stopped. He opened his eyes and sighed of relief. He was caught by the high elf from before. She laid him down then called out to Mil to jump. She did the same. After they were all down, they both helped Mil's brother to his feet again, but this time he didn't want help. They saw the two other's down here, an imperial who seemed shocked at the fact he fell through the floor and an intimidating man with an eye-patch. Elene approached the imperial and helped him up to his feet. "Do you know the way out?" She asked.

Ren groaned as his eyes slowly opened. The sound of rushing water filling his ears as he slowly sat up. Yep, he fell into a really shallow stream, the perfect depth for a bird to bathe itself. Looking around he could see another, a man in leather armor with a mask, Ren only rolled his eyes, now everyone wants to wear a mask. Sighing he stayed in his seated position, that fall had hurt him more than he thought, with the explosion singing his arms a bit.
Looking up the to hole there were voices, and one of those voices had jumped in. An altmer, a high elf, stood before him looking upwards. It soon became evident why as she caugh the Dunmer prisoner from before, the one begging for his life. Soon a Bosmer jumped downand approached him, offering her hand Renellius accepted it and was hoisted up, grunting on pain. He was most definitely gonna need to lie down later on, though these thoughts were interrupted by the girls question. "A way out? Not at the moment but most streams either come from a big source of water or lead to one. So we can either follow it up stream or down stream to try and find the exit." Said the centurion looking at the....well the array of elves before him.

Oh this was just bloody brilliant. First and ambush, then an almost premature execution, and now a dragon. And aren't they supposed to be, oh I don't kmow, really dead? When it came down and roared, while others were knocked down, because of her small stature she was some how moved a good ten feet before she managed to regain herself. Looking at her surroundings, Nora thought the best thing to do was try to get inside. Non of the houses would work, maybe the tower would work? So, still bound, She made her way over. She was only stopped when she caught sight of her axe, laying near a crushed imperial, and immediately decided to get Lyria back. "Haha! My axe!" Nora was relived to have her weapon back, but that was over shadowed by the sudden rumbling below her feet. Then nothing as the ground collapsed. "Ah shite." The woman landed with a hard thud, unknowing around others. "As if this day couldn't get any fecking worse." The outskirts of helgen proved to be an excellent place to hunt for mountain flowers, mosses, and mushrooms. Azami hummed happily as she worked, in her natural environment as her jackal Ubay rested, his eye always half open and watching over his owner. Azami knew there was a town nearby, according to her map it was called Helgen, but little else about this location was known. She bent down with her dagger to collect scaly pholiota from a dead birch tree when suddenly a booming cry flooded the woods beside Helgen. Ubay jumped up, bristling as he faced the direction of the noise, clearly cocerned but at a loss as to what the sound was. Azami was equally confused, leaving the mushrooms behind and keeping her dagger drawn.

Closing her eyes she listened closely, the sounds turned into roars and with them...screams coming from the town itself."Ubay, come," she breathed, running off towards Helgen, but remaining in the cover of the trees to avoid detection. Her jackal bounded off ahead, leading the charge.

Skye blearily opened her eyes, the taste of dried blood stayed sourly in her mouth. The last thing she remembered was that she was untop of the keep, notching an arrow into her ebony bow, aiming for Coran's head amoung the crowd when a...dragon. It sounded completely crazy, but nothing could explain all the screams, the fire...that roar. She had been thrown from the keep, she would've gone splat if not landing on the horse, she was running, then she'd been pushed through some hole in the ground, and then everything went black.

"Ooh, what the hell?" Skye groaned as she sat up, suddenly aware of multiple voices nearby. She sat up, no longer hidden from sight from the strangers, considering she'd been unconscious behind a pile of rocks.

She looked at the strangers faces and suddenly became very aware that she was looking at Coran Selet.

By the time Azami found the gates of Helgen, she had to steady herself against them to brace for what she saw. Many townspeople where dead, never before had she seen so much carnage as the village burned and distant screams where heard. She gasped audibly as she looked to a nearby tower and saw of all things, a dragon perched atop, flames hurling out of his great black jaws at Imperial soldiers ducked behind cover. Ubay growled and stood protectively in front of Azami, awaiting her orders. Tears welled in her eyes and she knew she had to help, but she knew she was no match for the dragon.

Grabbing her staff off of her back, she channeled her energy into the staff until frosty wind flickered to life at the end. "Ubay, close to me", she said as she ran into the town. Trying her best to ignore the dead bodies and keep quick on her feet, she allowed her frost magic to release as she pointed it at nearby buildings, trying to combat the fires that burned down the once charming little town. She dared not look behind her to see if the dragon was coming, she focused on her task at hand until she saw her first signs of life that wasnt fighting the dragon, a high elf with a missing arm jump up and run after a large group of escaping people.

If she followed them, she could learn more about what happened at the town and help out as well as she could. Azami quickened her pace and continued to try and put out the fires as she followed after the high elf and the fleeing party.

Nodding and grabbing his hand she tugged him towards the crack,"Come." half crouching through the fire and explosions.
Approaching the crack she peered down, her tail swishing with interest. Turning and looking at her proclaimed mate through her red bangs, she smiled and pulled her hood over her ears, some dreads poking out from the shade,"Looks like Im falling for you, tiger." clasping R'jeer's cheeks she kissed the tip of his nose before pulling the half mask over her nose and outstretched her arms horizontally before rolling onto her heels backwards.
Fluidly she dropped into the hole, her hand barely hovering over the ground as she braced herself, fingertips gracing the water that was gathered at the bottom. Standing up she looked up at R'jeer that was still above ground and smiled,"Come."

Looking around at the others that were also in the crack, she made dainty princess hands and bowed at the waist to them,"Lovely day it is, aye? " taking the bend to advantage she grabbed the knife from her boot again and tossed it from hand to hand,"So whats the gameplan with this overgrown lizard? We fighting or letting it take over this hole of a town?"

Coran Selet
Grizzled Bastard.

Coran landed in the stream, and looked around the cavern. Luckily he didn't break any bones, at least from what he could tell. Maybe the adrenaline was what kept him standing, though that was highly unlikely. He watched the Imperial Centurion groan and sit up, but didn't offer to help the man up. Coran let out a sigh and put his hands to his hips, looking up at the now crevice that he jumped through. Soon enough two Dark Elves and an Altmer jumped through the crevice and joined Coran and the Centurion.

Coran just stood there and remained quite. He examined each person that jumped through the crevice and joined them. Next to join the growing group was the short Nord with a large axe. She looked like a child, and nothing more, but even Nordic Children could be dangerous. Next was another High Elf who was missing an arm, and Coran just scoffed at her, seeing more and more Altmer joining them, "Damn, did the Thalmor all survive?"

The next people to join the group were the Bosmer female that Coran had suspicions about, and the two Khajiit. Coran looked over at the Bosmer and walked over to her. He thought about pulling his sword out on her, but didn't. If he did, he may have been immediately killed by the rest of the group. Instead he offered her a hand, "Get up." Was all he said in a rather stern tone.

Addie landed on the cavern floor blindly following the group at this point as her vision started to go she fell to her knees starting to loose conscious she shook her head trying to stay awake and she slowly stood back up using the cave wall to help her up. She knew nothing about the group of survivors that were with her but she could pick some of their races out by the sound of their voices.

Azami followed the others, she heard the dragon's screeching closing in behind her, or perhaps it was the panic of the situation that made her believe the great beast was only right behind her. Without thinking, going only off survival instincts, she propelled herself down into the crevice, slamming down hard onto her side, dazed with her left arm shooting in pain underneath her, her staff rolling away from her towards the main group.

Ubay yipped in panic, but his careful paws managed to find outcroppings he could leap onto and down into the cavern safely. He bee-lined straight to Azami, standing over her semi-conscious body with his hackles raised, intently watching the others and making sure no one got too close to his master.

Ren glared at the kahjit pullingbhos twin gladii, "you want to go big guy?! I've killed trolls bigger and faster than you." He said to him. "If I wanted you dead I would've killed you back there instead of telling you to run!" He said glaring at the large brute. Though more just kept falling into the crack, "well at least there are survivors...."

The first things out of Coran's mouth were a comment on the Thalmor, in which Skye tensed upon realizing all of the Altmer in the room. What if one was a Thalmor? What if they found her identity? She measured them up. She was a master assassin. She could probably take them.

She yanked down her hood as Coran approached her, Violet eyes narrowed in suspicion and she considered shoving a hidden knife in his gut until he offered her his hand. Skye hesitated before she took his hand, staggering as she did so, she looked down to see a giant gash in her lower leg, bleeding heavily. She quickly released Coran's hand as she balanced herself out to collect her bearings.

Raising a hand she shook her ,"No." She cooed, putting herself between the furry mass and Ren, her tail sweeping around her ankles.
"We need to regroup and figure out what we are going to do. Mend wounds and set bones if need be before continuing." turning in a circle her violet slits flicked around the persons in the hole. Taking note of the smaller woman that seemed to be slipping in and out of consciousness she trotted over and offered a hand,"I forget you fleshies are terrible with jumps. What you land on?" Her ears gave a flick under her hood, purple eyes concerned slightly.

Addie took her hand feeling the soft khajit fur and stood up the words echoed in her head "I...I uh my feet?" the back of her head was scarlet from blood when her horse kicked her off earlier when the dragon was attacking. Addie couldn't stay on her feet long from her head injury and stumbled back down to her knees.

The three elves watched as they were followed by the same two khajits from before and a few more strangers. Milsni slapped her brother's arm and yelled at him, her voice filling the room. "WHAT IN OBLIVION ARE YOU DOING HERE?" She asked. He rubbed his arm in pain. "Oww..." He muttered. "I was traveling to the college of winterhold. I guess I crossed the borders at the wrong time or something...?" He answered. Mil hugged him immediately after that. "You could've died." Her voice broke. He sighed and hugged her back.

Elene looked at the imperial, noticing his armor. He must of have higher in ranks. She was about to reply until the larger Khajit threatened the Imperial, and he did the same. She sighed and brought her hand up to her forehead. "Does conflict have to follow us here?" She muttered. She looked around, seeing if anyone needed a hand. Thankfully, everyone here was at least decent since they all seemed to be helping each other and no one was left unattended. She watched the water flow for a few minutes. Where the water was coming from seemed to be barred, so there was no luck that way. She approached the imperial again. "I suggest we should head downstream. We could not go up if we wanted to." She gestured toward the grate. "We'll just have to try our luck going down."

Nora stood, and looked around at the others. Cat people, mean looking ones, and elves. Alright, not what she expected to see, but they weren't attacking her or each other so they seemed friendly enough. Well, besides all the yelling. "So we manage to escape a dragon...onlu to fight down here? Shouldn't we be figuring out how to, I don't know...get outta here? I'm Nora by the way."

Coran Selet
Grizzled Bastard.

Coran looked up for a brief second to see a Redguard and some type of dog like creature jump into the crevice. More and More people just seemed to be jumping through the crevice. At this point the could form a very small army if people kept joining the growing party. He looked back down at the Bosmer who had taken his hand. He helped pull her up before looking down at her leg that was bleeding, "You did a number on yourself." He let out a sigh before kneeling down and going through his belongings, pulling out some cloth. Glancing behind to see the Khajiit and Imperial arguing and roaring to fight, he just shook his head, "Idiots."

Coran cupped his hands around the Bosmer's wound and used the spell Healing Hands on the wound. It managed to close the wound and cauterize it. He looked back up at her, not able to get a clear look at her face. "There, that should help." Coran said quietly as he rapped the cloth around her leg and tying it tightly to make sure the wound remained closed up. He stood back up and took off his mask, looking at the Bosmer with his one good eye. Normally he could care less about someone else's wounds, but he had a soft spot for Bosmer. A soft spot he detested.

Coran turned his back to the Bosmer, seemingly letting his guard down to look at the others. The Khajiit female seemed to be the voice of reason among everyone and could keep that large Khajiit in check. That would prove useful if everyone here was going to try and work together to survive. He let out a scoff at Elene, "I hate to have to agree, but downstream would be best."
