Skyrim: Rise of the Dragons (UnfaithfulPuppet & Fangs9090)

Ra'zir followed her out. "I need to stop by the trader first. I picked up a few gems and I don't need to be carrying them around." He headed for the trader.

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

"Okay. Ill be at the entrance of town that goes towards Whiterun waiting."

 

[Fangs9090]

Ra'zir waved his hand behind him to show that he'd heard and continued into the trader's.

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

Savannah leaned against a wooden beam te supported the partial wall. She scuffed her boots and waited.

After a little while, Ra'zir came back out of the trader's and walked over to where Savannah was waiting. "Alright, I sold what I did not need." He handed her a steel ingot. "Here. Use this to sharpen that sword when we get back to Whiterun."

"Okay", she started walking towards Whiterun. "I cant stop thinking about that darn wall".

 

[Fangs9090]

Ra'zir walked with her. "You too, huh? The marks on it were strange. I've seen many places but nowhere have I seen symbols like that. And that chanting. It stopped when the symbols stopped glowing..."

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

"Were defintily cursed", she laughs a little. "Something Nordic definitely. She looked at the scenery around her. "Maybe we got special powers or something?".

 

[Fangs9090]

"Perhaps. If we did, they have not revealed themselves yet." He looked to the river as they walked.

They were getting closer to whiterun. Dragonsearch is barely noticable. She sped her walking pace a little.

Ra'zir kept pace with her. Before long, they were passing the meadery, almost to the Whiterun gate.

"Wasnt that long of a trip", she sighed.

 

[Fangs9090]

Ra'zir shrugged. "I'm sure there will be longer trips to enjoy the the scenery. And each other's company." There was a hint of sarcasm in the last line.

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

"Your sarcasm is getting much easier sense", she laughs a little. They entered Whiterun.

 

[Fangs9090]

Ra'zir stopped at the blacksmith. "I have some business to attend to here. You can sharpen your sword if you wish while I do."

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

"Oh yeah", she looked at the steel ingot and went to sharpen her weapon.

Ra'zir went inside and came back out a few minutes later. He had two new daggers of elven make. He was looking one of them over as he walked out of the shop.

 

[UnfaithfulPuppet]

Ahe walked up to him. "Nice blades".

 

[Fangs9090]

Ra'zir sheathed the blade. "Thank you. Some nords may criticize elven crafting, but it is often more effective. For me anyway." He started to head towards Dragonsreach.

They got up to Dragonsearch and she opened the door.

Ra'zir walked inside and headed to the court wizard. He set the Dragonstone down on the wizard's desk. "We got your stone. How about a reward?" The wizard suggested they see the jarl about a reward. At that moment, the housecarl entered the room, stating that a dragon had been sited nearby. The wizard started excitedly asking questions but the housecarl told him to take it more seriously. She looked to Ra'zir and Savannah and suggested they come as well before she lead the way up the stairs to where the jarl was waiting.

"Do you think it was the same Dragon from Helgen"?, Savannah quietly said to Ra'zir. They went up the stairs and a guard explains what he saw and the Jarl then dismissed him. The Jarl asks the two to go to the watch tower with Irelieth and some guards to fight the dragon.

"I'm sure fighting dragons pays more than fetching stones." He turned to follow the housecarl. "Let's not keep anyone waiting." He ran after her.

They ran after her and exited Whiterun and headed towards the tower.

When they got to the tower, there was no dragon, but there was a lot of fire. The housecarl told them all to look around for any survivors. Ra'zir headed to the tower. Some of the guards posted there were still alive. He walked past them as they spoke to the housecarl and headed up to the top of the tower to get a better view of everything.
