Bree dragged her things up to the cabin, while trying to keep warm. Despite the parka on her, she kept shivering from the cold. She opened the cabin door and wiped her boots on the placemat before going in. Bree took her bags to her room and started to unpack. She put all of her clothes in the wardrobe and put all of her little stuff in the wooden drawers. When she was done, she went back down to the kitchen to warm herself a mug of hot chocolate.

Adrian trekked through the snow to get to the cabin, while having some resort employee carry his bags. He didn't feel like carrying anything at all. Besides, getting to the cabin itself was hard work already. Once they got there, Adrian took his things and headed to his room. He figured that it would be a waste of time to unpack, so he put his bags in the corner of the room and headed downstairs. Adrian wanted to explore the place, just to get a feel for where he would be staying for the next few months.

Sam hauled her duffle bags up the stair to her room, she was not ready for the sudden blizzard that had hit her on her way to the resort. She unzipped her North Face fleece, and tied it around her waist. She thanked the bell boy that had helped her with her bags, and opened the door to her room. She could feel her teeth chattering, and her fingers de-thaing as she set her bags down to the side of the room. She sat down on her bed, and combed her fingers through her hair. She was wiped out from the 5 hour drive hat she had made to get up to the resort. It would be nice to relax for the next month, and not have to worry about anything.

Andy smiled as the lady at the front desk gave him the keys to his room. He thanked her, and made his way up the stairs. His face stung as he opened door, the warm air rushed to his face. He set his bags down and began to put his stuff in the drawers. He was so excited to be staying at this ski resort, he couldn't wait to try out the slopes. Andy grabbed the last of his empty bag, and put them under the bed. He opened the door, and walked outside. He needed to know the lay of the land before he would be grind the slopes.

Canon pushed open the door to the cabin and entered, grateful for the sudden burst of warm air that hit him. He made his way to his room wit his black backpack over his right shoulder and his black suitcase pulling along behind him. He opened the door to his room and peered inside. Not bad, he thought, but I'll have to hang up a few of my posters that I brought along. He adored his music and his room back home was filled with various posters of his favorite artists. When he decided to come to the cabin he just had to take a few posters with him - safely rolled up in a separate bag, of course, so that they would not get crushed by the clothing and various other items he had brought. He placed his suitcase in one corner of the room and laid his backpack on the bed. He decided he would unpack and do some decorating later, for now he wanted to examine the rest of the cabin. He walked out of his room and shut the door behind him before wandering back down the stairs and beginning to take a look around.

Anton trudged through the snow quietly, the cold not bothering him. He had lived in Russia for most of his life, and this was warm to his standards. Arriving at his cabin, Anton took off his jacket and noticed his special prize that his parents had ordered for him: an upright piano. Anton rubbed the wooden frame and smiled. Then he put down his stuff and went outside, hoping to meet some other people.

Sam stood up, she had gotten bored very easily. It wasn't very entertaining to her to play with her hair. Instead, she threw her somewhat snarly blonde hair up into a loose pony tail, and walked out of her room. She zipped up her North Face fleece and walked down the hall. She rounded a corner where she saw a guy in another room, running his hand on the top of a piano. She shrugged it off, and continued walking. As she passed the room, she saw the sun outside, so she sped her pace up, and walked out of the door. She couldn't wait to explore!

((I don't remember you getting an upright piano, and I was never in YOUR cabin. Edit please))

((wait Naga isn't everyone in the same cabin? cause Music said "You are headed to a ski resort and will be living in a huge cabin during your stay. Little did you know, there would be other people staying there as well." i'm not sure maybe i misinterpreted "other people staying there as well" might have been referring to the ski resort, but i thought since it's a "huge cabin" that the other people were in the same cabin as you

i don't know so i probably shouldn't be posting this i might just confuse everyone more "^^ sorry if i'm wrong...))

(Everything is good. That's what I thought too, but I'm fine with tweaking my post. Oh, sorry for the miscommunication. Bt hopefully everything is settled now?( :)

((Yes, more story posting!))

Anton continued walking, hoping to find where the main place to eat was. He was starving, more like famished. Though he couldn't wait to ski, and do all the fun things that this had planned. He saw Sam, and walked up.

"Privet," his Russian accent came in thick,"you like this resort already, Da? I do, that's for sure. Every one is calm, and not so uptight.

Anton had a history of creeping people out because he was Russian. He hoped this wouldn't happen here, as then he would just go home and he really enjoyed it here.

((Translation from Russian to English

Da - Yes

Privet - Hello))

Sam turned around, she looked at Anton and stopped walking. She could her his thick, Russian accent so she tried to make sence of his comment. She stuck her hands in her pocket and came up with her response.

"Hi," she began, "I like this place too, it is very relaxing." she said, smiling softly.

Sam stuck her hand out, "I'm Sammy, but call me Sam." she told him, oping he would understand. She guessed he would, but she wouldn't know until he responded.

Anton looked kindly at Sam, and shook her hand. It was warm, and his was the opposite. He understand what she said fine, so he opened his mouth to reply.

"Nice to meet you Sam. I'm Anton. At least we share common ideas. So, what ski run do you think you will do first next morning? Peak? I'm doing that one. Maybe St. Joseph? There are a lot of mountains here, just like my home, Mother Russia. Where are you from?"

Anton hoped that this vacation would be fun, as it was already sporting nice people.

((Sorry if I caused any confusion. What I meant was a huge bungalow [that happens to look like a cabin on the outside] sort of thing, with a ton of rooms. Each person has their own room, and they're not the only ones in the building. Btw, Naga can you post your character on the character thread? It'll help me keep track of everything.

And I'll be jumping back in soon. I forgot to put this under my watched threads. :| ))

Sam smiled, she stuck her hand in her front pocket and brushed herr hair out of her face. She was glad that he understood her, she nodded, and dazed off for a second thinking about being in the snow.

"Well, I don't know about skiing, but I do know that I will be boarding down Crystal Peak tomorrow." she told him with a small smile. "But I might also ski down St. Joseph." she added, as she looked outside, and then back at him.

She took a step towards the door, and looked back at Anton. "I'm going to go outside, if you want to come.. I'll be around." she told him as she opened the door, and waited for his response.

Anton noted that Sammy didn't answer his question, but he didn't mind. She was probably excited about boarding and other things. He walked towards the door and opened his mouth to speak.

"Yes I would love to. I need some air." Anton said. Then he walked out of the cabin and downstairs to the lobby.

Sam walked through the door after him, she felt like she had forgotten something. But she shrugged and smiled as they walked.

"So, what part of Russia are you from??" she asked him curiously. She followed him, pulling her hat down on her ears, and putting her gloves on her hands as they continued to walk and talk.

Anton looked at Sam kindly, his bright blue eyes and silver hair glistening in the moonlight.

"Novosibirsk. It is in Siberia, or 'Asian Russia'. Quite cold out there, but I'm used to it. That is why I only brought a sweater. Russia is very unpleasant right now. The economy is just killing us, and the government is even worse." Anton said, sadly.

Alyss pulled her suitcase behind her while she trudged through the snowy sidewalk up to the large building that she was going to be staying at for the next few months. Carrying three items, the suitcase, a backpack, and her guitar in its case, she cursed as the large suitcase's wheels got tangled with blades of dead grass. Kneeling, Alyss untangled the weeds from her luggage and saw two people walking and chatting up ahead. She passed them and reached the front door of the big cabinish building in a cold, snowy mess with her reddish hair tangly under her beanie. Fishing around in the pocket of her hoodie for the key, Alyss stopped her suitcase from rolling back down the slight hill. She finally found the key and shoved it into the lock. The door opened with a click, and warm air rushed at her face as Alyss shut the door tight behind her so as not to let the cold air in. As soon as the door was closed, Alyss pulled her suitcase along behind her and reached her room. She put the backpack and guitar on the desk, then heaved the luggage onto the bed. Alyss dug around in her luggage for dry clothes, into which she promptly changed, before taking out her iPod Touch and snapping on headphones. She shoved the luggage and backpack off the bed, and it landed on the floor with a loud thump, scattering clothes everywhere as Alyss flopped down on the bed, exhausted and ready to take a nap with Don't Stop Believin' playing through the headphones.

Sam nodded, she looked over at Anton, her bright blue eyes reflected the moonlight as they walked. She brushed some of her bangs out of her face, and began to speak.

"That stinks. I know that the USA has had some pretty bad times economically and government in the past deacade." she responded, as she looked at him. "But from where I am from, which would be Hollywood, Florida." she stopped and chuckled, she did mean to say Florida, "We werent very effected, but I could tell when the government was at its worst." she told him softly.

(hey guys can you fill me in)

She came up in a car that her dad was driving and saw some other kids but she didn't think her dad hadn't seen but she didn't feel like speaking up.She had some really hard times so her dad was making her go to a cabin in the middle of the woods how great(Her mom had died)"bye dad"jj said as she got out of the car with her bag and backpack. She walked to her room.

Alyss woke up from her nap when she heard someone walking through one of the hallways of the large cabin. The sound echoed through the mostly empty building all the way to her room. Alyss stretched and didn’t bother covering her mouth while yawning. After swinging her feet over the edge of the bed, picking up her iTouch, and standing, she closed the small window’s blinds. The Journey song was long over, and now Alyss sang along to “One More Night”:

“...Got you stuck on my body, on my body, like a tattoo-ooh-ooh, and now I’m feelin’ stupid, feelin’ stupid, runnin’ back to you-ooh...”

She kept humming and stuck her music player in her hoodie’s front pocket. Walking to the small, only mirror in her tiny room, Alyss pulled her hairbrush out of her blue backpack and began brushing her tangly bed-heady hair. She heard steps again from another room. After brushing her hair and stretching again, Alyss opened the door and sleepily walked outside, looking for a bathroom and the source of the stepping sounds. She immediately saw a girl carrying a backpack and another bag in the hallway. Strange, Alyss thought, Is she staying in this building too? Alyss wanted to start off on the right foot with her, so after politely removing her headphones and putting them around her neck she softly introduced herself, “Hey.” She waited for the girl to turn around, “I’m Alyss... I’m in this room. My mom just remarried and is going on a three-month long honeymoon, so she shipped me off to here. I’ve never skied or boarded before.” Alyss laughed slightly, "I was just going to check out this place and see where the bathrooms are... Want me to help you with your bags?" She hoped this didn't sound to bellhop-ish.

"I'm not usually this accepting of Americans, or America, but the school that we go to and all of you changes my mind a little. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly. I'm kind of surprised that the students at the school are 'okay' with different types of people. It makes me happy to know that I'm not discriminated." Anton told Sam. When they finally got outside, a grin took form on Anton's face. The weather reminded him of the cultural activities of Russia. He turned to Sam.

"You know, things like this usually never happened to me. I was always doing work, always alone. Never had any friends until I moved to America."
