Background:
She is the daughter of a pair of very rich people. Macy's parents were always too busy with dinner parties to care about her. One day, when she was seven, she used a knife in an attempt cut her cheek, hoping that maybe they'd tell their guests to leave and attend to Macy's wounds. Her wish came true, but at a price: the knife slipped and cut out her left eye. Her parents became much more present after that. They stopped throwing dinner parties and did everything they could to help Macy. But poor little Macy never left the house again.
Personality:
Macy is a very withdrawn individual. She's very shy and doesn't know how to interact with people.

Background:
Pierce had joined the military right out of high school, and was dispatched overseas for a few years. He had been one of the unlucky ones, and ended up out on the battlefield. Victory came with a price, but compared to his comrades, his sacrifice was much less. Pierce was left with partial vision in his right eye and a terrible scar to tell his tale. Coming back home was harsh. No one was there to greet him. No warm hugs. It was as if he’d never left. As if he hadn’t risked his life to protect his ungrateful family. Unable to put up with being played down, Pierce got his own small place and got a small job as a paper pusher at a local news reporting place. Not the most glorious job for an ex-soldier, but the monotony of it at least keeps his mind from drifting to thoughts and memories he’d rather keep behind him.
Personality:
One thing that could be said about Pierce is that he is very mellow--almost to the point of being dull. But after he opens up, the muted colors of his personality will starts to become more vibrant. He does indeed have a sense of humor, and once he’s found some sort of comfort, he may not hold back his quiet jokes and sarcastic remarks. Beyond that, he has a high sense of moral rightness, and may instinctively go out of his way to help others. Why, and what he’s looking for out of it, he has yet to figure out.

Background:
Westar was born to nothing special. He lived an average life as a normal person. He grew up with a twin brother named Sebastian: they acted and looked nothing alike, but he felt close to his brother. He soon moved out of his hometown, and moved to a big city. Life didn't change much though, and his life stayed as normal as ever. In fact, he would've kept it this way, but fate had been cruel to him on that day. He was part of one of the many terrorist attacks using the Hourglass, but luckily for him, the suicide attempt had failed, and was hospitalized immediately after. He learned that the most of his family had been in the attack too, and they weren't as lucky. He moved over to another country after the news despite his health conditions, and tried to start over as a new person. He erased all data he could on him; his birth certificate, IDs, anything that could be destroyed. He still lacks any compassion or companionship one might have with friends or a family, but he's learned to live without them. He's still remembers his twin, but doesn't know his whereabouts.
Personality:
Before the attack, Westar was levelheaded, and generally calm. He was sometimes cold or sarcastic, but still had a sense of humor one could enjoy. That was before, however, and he's almost a completely new person. He's easily annoyed by people, and has the curiosity of a child. Sometimes he can be deeply sympathetic, but he rarely acts like that. He's actually, despite his general behavior, a colder person than he was beforehand. He still feels a deep connection with his twin, but feels a bit more distant than he used to be.

His dream appearance is his own. His appearance is him in his own pyjama, a grey pair of joggings and a red shirt from a punk band called Blackwood Project. Terry body is a good mix of fat and muscle leaving with him a belly and a broad chest. His hairs are held back in a dark brown shoulder long ponytailed mohawk and his beard is short and neglected. His head shape is rather squarish but smooth. His grey eyes are slightly bloodshot and have dark pockets. He have strong eyebrows, giving him a serious look.
Background:
Terry never really liked humanity and his disdain for humans only grew stronger after his best friend basicaly decided to give up on him. He had a pretty weird childhood, having to take meds for ADD with horrible side effects, forcing the child to live trough periods of grave schyzophrenia. He decided to give up on his meds but this decision cost him his education wich led him in a depression helped by a mind shaken by the relapse and permanent side effects of his meds. This decision cost him his education, as he was forced out of school because of his horrible grades in mathematic. This lead him in a great depression. His father being either not here or drunk and aggresive, he was mostly raised by him mother into becoming a kind and caring person with partial success. The child was already too gone to become a good person but his love for his mother and his fervent preaching of her teaching made him a bitter-sweet person. Instead of seing the glass half full or empty, he saw the scum accumulating on the surface. He knew humanity was rotten but he wanted to make this place better so he hate it less. In kindergarden he met a boy and they followed each others trough their lives but this person was now gone with one last message explaining his desire to change his friend circle and move on in life. Terry saw this as nothing else but a way to get rid of him without being mean. Terry tried to deal with his emotions by neutralising them with illegal drugs. Once again this success was partial as it did bottle down his emotions but made him more unstable, leading to sometimes suddent emotional boosts that can be good and positives as much as crippling and borderline life threatening. His best memories were his moments of complete focus and calm while shooting his bb gun at bottles in the wood near his house. Another great memory that come back are long hours spent after dark reading history books and comparing the locations spoken of in the book with his world maps. His dreams were filled with long forgoten battles of mens against mens and great games of politic when he still had them. Having surges during his sleep made him wake up in panic.¸His last memory before waking up in color was watching tv on his sofa after eating a burrito.
Personality:
While clearly troubled, Terry good side is still well alive and can be rather dominant at times. He can have problems trusting but once friend with he will prove to be a loyal companion when not in a mood drop, clinging to what he believe is good with all his strength. Note that what he consider good not alway is, his judgment rather clouded at times. He does good when he can do good as this was engraved in his mind by his mother but he is not over being ruthless to obtain what he want, thinking that in such a cruel world the end justifie the means when no innocent is harmed, and the guilty are free to be disposed of without guilt. He is known to have a very dark humor during his rare attemps at it.

Place of residence: Currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved there to live with his aunt, and is originally from Detroit, Michigan.
Physical description: Jimmy is short, skinny, and pallid-- both in the dream world and in real life. He has shaggy black hair and hazel eyes, and wears large rectangular glasses. He's wearing cargo pants, a worn-out summer camp t-shirt, and a pink baseball cap that says RADICAL on it.
Before she left, his mother took him on long hikes in the woods, which she said would open his mind to new possibilities. That was the outfit he wore when on those hikes.
Bio/Backstory: Jimmy is sick, and people don't come to see him as much as they used to. His legal guardian is his aunt Marlena, who doesn't seem to like him very much. She feels that Jimmy and his illness distract her from her job, and her biological daughter May. His mother (he doesn't know his father) left on a road trip three years ago, and never came back. He can't walk anymore, and he can only eat through an IV. He spends most of his time asleep or half asleep, but when he's awake, he watches cartoons. He imagines himself fighting monsters, saving girls, and bringing fun and excitement to people's lives. He doesn't believe he can do any of those things.
Personality: Jimmy is nervous and stuttery, but tries to be outgoing. He's constantly trying to help others --even when he's making things worse-- because he feels like he has to be useful to earn their approval. He'll usually default to doing what he's told, and is prone to idolizing others.

Cora is a Canadian born Asian, standing at 5”3. Her figure is rather boyish, broad shoulders, muscular arms and legs, and paired with a flat chest. To make up for her lack of feminine figure, she has grown out her blessed coarse and wavy hair. It is black with brown ends on certain sections and it is layered cut. She often wears comfortable and simple clothings, in an exception to her shoes.
When she dreams, she is aware that her dreamself is not the same as her physical body. On rare occasions when the young lady is aware of her body when asleep, she realises that she maybe dreaming as a different character. She has several forms but the most notable dreamself Cora is aware of is a boy.
Background:
Cora was fortunate to grow up in the city that share her wonder of the world. Her home lays between the ocean and the mountain, and tall trees and buildings have turns her head up towards the sky with wonder. Thousands year old nature and modern industrialization intertwines and both lives in harmony, brining balance to those fortunate to live in. Vancouver was indeed an ideal city that nourished the young minds, like Cora, to the future's fortune. Well, it was the goal until the dream terror attack targeted this city. Fear and tension rained down on the sunny peace city that was Vancouver.
It is fortune that Cora was very young during the terror attack. Parents’ consent were needed for any Hourglass studies to be conducted on children, and Cora’s mother was heavily against her children being tested with such devices. However, even with such precautions, the terrorist attack manages to brush against Cora’s dream.
That was ten years ago and since then, Vancouverites have slowly rose from their fear ridden slumber to their sunny shower relaxation. The girl and her family were lucky, fortunately. Cora manages to escape the worst of the attacks and just required short session counseling that lasted for couple of years.
To this day, her dreams remain to be visually attractive and proves to be her inspiration to her field of creations.
Personality:
Cora is a dreamer. This is a well known fact that her family have come in term with since she was little. Her imagination is wild and vivid and it plagues her mind in her waking hours. It help her understand and learn the world around her and she uses her artistic mind to empathize with people easily.
She likes to be a sociable person and be in groups, but she is very quiet, reserved. She loves to hears stories of other and experience what others have gone through. She will stay for the atmosphere but will disappear when she wants to. For a long time, she may be by herself before going back to socialize.
Only the closest of families and friends are fortune (or unfortunate) to see Cora's louder side. Only when Cora is comfortable and feeling relaxed she will be more inclined to talkative and express her feelings. However, she will retreat back to herself after a period of socialize even to her closest friends.
