Soviet Panda
Red Panda Commanda.
Hund did not like horses, and he especially did not like riding them. They were beings that could think and act on their own. He'd much rather run alongside. But that meant he'd also have to carry all of the equipment that was stored on the horse, and he was no Swift. He would tire, and he would be left behind. So there he sat, a white knuckled grip on the reigns, awkwardly getting it to follow the others.
When the order to set up camp was given, he was all to glad to slide off his horse. He grabbed the tent and bedroll that was tied tightly on the back of the saddle, and quickly set up his sleeping area. The tent was nothing more than a stick that held up a piece of canvas that covered his bedroll, so he was done in a matter of minutes. When rations were passed out, he eagerly gnawed at the piece of hardtack and jerky he was given. It was a simple meal, but filling, and tended not to go bad before they were eaten.
He silently observed the going-ons of the rest of the camp as he chewed his meal. A scuffle here, which lead to one angrily stomping off, the two generals whispering off to one side, probably about general things, one went on an apparent hunt, the local psycho climbed a tree, and the first watch was doing their job. All in all, a fairly boring night at camp.
