(Third time I've had to retype the entire post - why is my computer so shitty?)

Aneima leaves the building, making sure to lock the door. It would only be a matter of time before her business was robbed by some thief with real skill. But, for now, she'd have to deal with the crappy security the building had until the new type was delivered and installed. She looks around, sighs, and goes to the right instead of the left - a trick to throw off muggers. She took a different path every day - it wasn't hard to find your way around the city anyways. As she walks, looking around to try and remember the path she took so she wouldn't take it tomorrow, she gets odd looks from those passing in cars, and even those were very few. A lot of people stayed inside at these hours. Luckily, she wasn't stopped by either friend nor foe, but by herself.

It was when she neared that creepy theater that had been publicly abandoned and secretly repopulated - or so the rumors said - when she stopped. She was about to cross the street, walk the 50 feet she needed to to pass the theater, then cross the street again, but all of a sudden, she stopped. The reason for this was, all of a sudden, she swore she could hear voices. She creeps closer to the theater, landing so her wings would stop making noise. When she was only a few feet away from the alley just before the theater, she identified the source of the voices - from the alley on the other side. She slowly and quietly walks towards the alley, but freezes for a moment while she is crossing the first alley. With a jolt, she realizes that she made a mistake in her assumption. The people must have been talking quieter than she expected. She continues walking, looking across the street while trying to look casual and walk quietly at the same time, so that if anyone saw her, she'd look like a harmless unknowing passerby that they wouldn't bother dealing with, or not be seen at all.

Anika's hopes were quickly raised, and then brutally crushed. So much for her latest get rich plan. She hopped one seat closer to the other woman. "Sooo," she started in as much of a conversational tone as a bird could manage, "Uhhhhh... I'm Anika!" she blurted out for lack of anything better to say. "Who're you?"

@Abberakelaran

Kat smiled and said, "Hello Anika. My name is Katarina. I am a local independent operative. Well not quite independent any more. What is your role with the local supernaturals?" She sat up in her seat, curious now.

@Lannis Sorry that took so long to reply to I wound up super busy.

Anika blinked. Or at least she would have if birds could blink. "I...." She took the precaution of hopping one chair further from Katarina. In case a quick escape was needed. "I don't really have a role? I just steal things."

@Abberakelaran Don't worry about it! I'm not too great about replying fast myself.

Kori sighed and crossed her arms. She didn't want to say it out in the open, but it would most likely be the only way for him to stay. "I know you are looking into the Horsemen", she said loud enough for him to hear as he began his exit, "I use to be high ranked in Heaven, I heard a lot of things when I was there."

She wasn't a fan of begging and she could tell that that was exactly what he wanted from her. As much as she didn't want to, at this point she was desperate. Her hands were slightly trembling and she hoped their crossed position would hide that. Kori really couldn't screw this up, but he wasn't going to shake her pride. "But if you have a meeting, then I guess I'll just have to withhold the information and take my leave", she said turning her head and smiling, not letting a single word tremble.

Victor bit his lower lip, eyeing the fallen angel. After a few moments, he smiled. "And why would an angel want to give me any information?" He watched her carefully, his eyes locked on hers. "The latest rumors are that I want to bring about the apocalypse. I'm not saying I am but that's a step away from Lucy down there..." He looked at the ground, referencing at Lucifer. "Coming up here. No one wants that, right?" He shrugged and looked at the way the demon went. "Except, you know."

Kiyoko turned his attention towards the vampire when he mentioned lucifer. 'It's a shame that he became Satan, he was a really good angel.' Kiyoko thought remembering how his parents would always brag about how they met Lucifer before he became Satan.

It had gotten annoying after a while so most Angels had just learned to ignore them. "But the thing is... Do you want to bring about an apocalypse?" Kiyoko asked speaking up for the first time, so that his voice could be clearly heard.

Katarina looked the theater over properly for the first time, and barely noticed the bird moving away from her. She had avoided such places for more than eighty years, and not without reason. For a moment she remembered the heat of the stage, and the unfettered joy of performing with none of her masks. The Barravin club had been exclusive, not to the rich, but instead to the supernatural. No humans or near humans could enter, and the truly inhuman reveled in the lack of secrecy as they danced. Angels danced with devils, monsters with heroes. It had been a place of sanctuary. She had been the star act, the ancient vampire with the golden voice, who could sing the blues and make even the coldest vampire remember warmer times. The musician who made the ancients dance to her siren song of jazz. Happily before her thoughts could continue along that path Anika spoke up again. She turned to her with an odd smile on her face and said, "We all have our roles to play. From the monsters amongst us to the near human, we all are here, and likely all have our own fates. Now are you going to stay to enjoy the show, or go off to thieve? If you do depart I must ask you leave Elise's belongings. It would be best for your health and there are plenty of other things to steal."

I actually saw your post this morning, but then dozed off again. Anyway here is my post finally.

Anika lifted her wings in the bird approximation of a shrug. "Stay for the show at least. Much easier to steal things when everyone's leaving." She hopped back onto the seat beside Katarina. "Who's Elise? The other vampire lady? You think she'd loan me a dress for the night? She looks about my size. Much less awkward to sit through a show with clothes on." She finally paused for breath, staring at Katarina expectantly.

Katarina laughed, for a moment considering sending her back to Elise. She did not trust Victor or his representative true, and an interruption could be fun. At the same time it was Elise's business, and judging by the eyes they had been casting at each other they were unlikely to kill each other. She smiled but said, "Elise was indeed the other vampire in the alley. Unfortunately at the moment she is in a meeting, and should not be disturbed. If you wish for clothes I would suggest going backstage and finding an empty changing room. There will likely be spare clothes somewhere backstage at least."

She narrowed her eyes at Victor as he talked and turned her head when she heard the another angel's voice. "I want to see the Horsemen summoned and sequentially destroyed. Forever." she replies as she turned her head back to Victor after a moment of hesitation, "and I believe that is in the best interest of all of us. Quite simply, their destruction under your name would yield you worldwide fame and fear of your power." She hesitated for a moment, her heart practically beating out of her chest.

"Not to mention, Heaven fears them. It's no doubt that were for fallen angels to aid in their destruction, they would be let back into Heaven." she sputtered, soft and quick. Her gaze angled toward the ground. For herself, it would take almost a human's lifetime of work to be able to gain access to Heaven again, but with this plan then she could make it in at 9 years. She just hoped they the means to do it were not too damaging.

Asmyn hovered silently in the air directly above Kiyoko, listening as the angel and the vampire discussed destroying the Horsemen. This was incredibly interesting, and very terrifying. If she got noticed, she would be roped into their plot or silenced, most likely permanently. She almost wished she didn't follow him from the bar, but this was too good to miss. Without realizing it, she slowly lowered herself so she could hear better and eventually landed softly on Kiyoko's head, his soft hair serving as a cushion.

Victor grinned wide. "Then you could say our interests mostly align. I have no interest in letting angry boy..." He motioned at the ground again. "Get up here and rule the world. That wouldn't be good for me in the slightest." He nodded at the fallen angels. "I'm more than happy to work with you on this but I want the details on my side as secret as I deem necessary." Most of his smile faded. "I don't want people talking about this. Working with angels isn't something that would look too good in my biography."

Aneima made it to the other side without being called out, so she decided to take another risk. She stayed where she was, beside the alley, listening to what they were saying. While she listened, she felt less and less confused, and more interested. This could be good for the city. And bad.

Kiyoko felt something land in his head and reached up as though he were about to scratch his hair. He felt the small fairy on top and his face was expressionless except for his eyes which brightened just a tad an amused look in them, however no one would notice. He had played his poker face quite a bit his eyes holding the only expression to then even when he didn't want them to, it was one of the reasons he let his hair grow over his eyes.

'And working with a demon wouldn't exactly look good on our part either.' He silently thought turning his gaze towards the vampire as he spoke.

Asmyn nearly screamed when Kiyoko's hand touched her. She prepared herself to fly away as fast as possible but stopped when she realized he wasn't calling her out. She carefully lifted herself up and floated down so she was next to his ear. In a voice so quiet she knew no one but Kiyoko could hear her, she whispered, "Thank you for hiding me. Do you mind if I stay there for a while?"
