Fantasy Shura Academy: How Strong is Your Punch!? (Martial Arts/Super Power/ School RP)

Bakuto nodded, before leaning in closer. He cracked a wide smile at Cayde. "DUDE. It's gonna be so sick! But i got you man! I'll tone it down. He said making a downward motion with both his hands. "Oh yeah,I almost forgot...here dude." Bakuto said reaching into his pocket and pulling out $100,000 tightly rolled in a rubberband of large bills. He stuffed the band of cash into Cayde's hand. To him, it was a gift for a close friend, for any normal person it was a small fortune.

"Buy her something nice dude. You KNOW she deserve's it. Especially with all the political bs that's been going down with the head honcho. She's had you through thick and thin dude. Oh,and tell her hi for me! i haven't seen her in ages.

Bakuto looked out over the crowd of new students. Some nervous, others joyous at the opportunity in front of them.

"So this is the new haul huh? Awesome! Whats on the agenda for the orientation?" Also, how do you feel about the new big boss?" He said pulling a tootsie pop from his bag and offering one to Cayde.

Originally listening to the sisters, Eric happily nodded along. Itsuki's compliment to his outfit prompted another bright grin of his with a giggling "Thank you!" to accompany it. "I'm not actually new, though! I've been here since high school. College freshman. Thanks anyway, though!" When they moved on to introduce themselves, he immediately brought out a hand to shake. "Nice to meet you both! I'm Eric, from the contractor course. We might run into one another later, depending." Another million dollar smile.

The... Strange conversation between the nearby European and the sudden girl that ran in on them made Eric stare a bit in confusion before he caught himself doing just that and quickly turned back to his actual conversational partners. Whatever they were talking about it sounded... Pretty personal, and he wasn't going to get involved with that one unless asked to. That said, before he could really say anything more he noted that the guy that had offered to carry his books was already moving. He had gotten so caught up in getting to know new people that he had completely forgotten about how he was most likely keeping up the older boy's time. How rude! A faint shade of pink dusted his cheeks at the thought of it, a mixture of realization and shame. "Oh, but I really should get going. I need to put these books away, you know?" He nodded at the sisters and gave a brief wave and a smile at the sisters before hurrying on alongside Trey.

"I'm really sorry about that, I got a bit caught up with myself, it seems." He sheepishly apologized to Trey as the two walked on through the gates and in to school ground. "I didn't mean to be a bother, that's on me. Anyway, would you mind helping me take these to my dorm room? I'm living at the contractor dorms, obviously. Room... 16, I think?" Yeah, that sounded right when he thought about it.

It didn't take long for the word of a party to reach the two of them as they walked, which once again seemed to fill Eric with energy. "Oh, man! I've heard about that rich kid's festivities, they're apparently super fun!" He beamed at Trey once more. "Are you going?"

With the emergence of a pink-haired newcomer, the sisters seems to be having a hard time communicating with the entire group. Eventually, when Eric reaches his hand out to the sisters, they happily take it and shook it. "You're a Contractor?" Sunshine would ask "I'm a Contractor as well, and my sister is a Martial Artist." When someone by the name of Trey tells him to carry his books and did, once he has made his farewell, the sisters waved back.

Itsuki turns to her sister and asked "Shall we? It is only a matter of time until the classes would start." Sunshine responds with "Sure!" But before they could do so, they both look at the others and let's out a sigh before they walk towards the main school.

Seeing as rest of the students made room for the two of them, Vasek was prepared for the inevitable confrontation. Standing back up and taking his hands out of his pockets, Vasek prepared his spell. Vasek calmly said, "Prísť", which was Slovak for 'come'. Before anything could escalate further, another student, Willliam Haus-Code, intervened on the affair. William began to lecture Vasek on the school rules of large transformations. Honestly all of what William said went in one ear and out the other, but considering that William and Vasek got along decently well and even helped each other out on their studies, Vasek decided to stand down, plus William even sent his spirit away anyway, and on top of that, him vs two of the Contractor student council members would be suicide.

Putting his hands in his pockets Vasek walked up to William and said, "Fine William. Just be sure next time to keep that fena on a shorter leash." Vasek stared down Ms. McClain as the red haired woman was called by William. "Nasledujúca doba nebude nikto zasahovať", Vasek said to Ms. McClain, which mean't, 'Next time there will be no one interfering'. Turning his attention to William Vasek remarked, "Next time I'll come as a wolf then", as he said that to William he stared at McClain, as if he was directing the comment to her.

In expectation for the battle to begin Morgan felt the familiar feeling of her blood beginning to boil. It was a sign that the rage was getting ready to set in. This happened when ever she got in a fight, it was part of her contract with her goddess. It was why shy tried to end fights as quickly as possible to avoid out right killing her opponents, and it was the reason she very rarely unclothed Gae Buide for anything other then cleaning. However it looked like she wouldn't be able to unleash that rage, at least not yet. A golden portal appeared next to her and above the monster. As the monster disappeared William appeared next to her with a hand on her shoulder. Morgan silently lowered her spear but kept her eyes locked on the man.

Apparently his name was Vasek, an acquaintance of William's. Luckily for him it seemed common sense seemed to win in Vasak's mind and he stood down. Of course he still had the spite to make a snaps at Morgan but it didn't phase her, after all she was to busy dealing with the rage that for lack of a better term had been cockblocked from it's release. Quickly she picked up the large cloth that was on lying in the ground and began to re wrap her spear with it. The longer the weapon was exposed to the light of day the harder it would be for Morgan to resist the urge to skewer someone.

Trey Wolf

"I'm really sorry about that, I got a bit caught up with myself, it seems."
Trey couldn't help but scoff at the... boy's... remark. Yeah, it was pretty clear that he was a male. A weirdly efeminate male, but a male nonetheless.
Trey was starting to get annoyed by the amount of voices present in the school, and by how loud they spoke and how the sounds reverberated from the walls. His frown deepened.
"I didn't mean to be a bother, that's on me." Trey couldn't agree more.
"Anyway, would you mind helping me take these to my dorm room?" Trey did mind.
"I'm living at the contractor dorms, obviously. Room... 16, I think?"
The boy froze in place, the stack of books almost falling over. The students nudged and scooched him around as he processed what the blonde kid just said. Room 16? But that meant...
"Vulcan, if you're gonna kill me for blasphemy, do it now." Trey mumbled, his voice drowned by the seemingly infinite amount of other sounds.
He really didn't want to be roomies with that kid. He hoped he'd be an odd man out; living in a dorm room by himself, or at least have another guy that was somewhat like him share the dorm.
Quickly unpausing reality however, Trey resumed his walk towards the dormatories, wishing for the sweet release of death. He wanted that experience to be over soon so that he could confront the Grand Emperor and demand they change his dorm. Or maybe just the student council.
"Oh, man! I've heard about that rich kid's festivities, they're apparently super fun! Are you going?"
"No."

William chuckled good-naturedly and placed a hand behind Vasek's back, leading him back towards the school, "She doesn't mean it personally, Vasek. Rules are rules, right? Try not to break them, I might not be able to step in next time." He looked back at Morgan as he walked away and nodded a thanks to her for upholding her duties, sure in his logic that she would understand that he wasn't trying to undermine her role in the situation. William knew her to be a calm and collected individual, but he had also witnessed that terrible rage as per the side effects of her contract, something that definitely daunted him somewhat. He had no idea how Cayde kept her placated when/if things ever kicked off between the two.

"Speaking of rules, yes, wolves are fine. Anything that can fit through the front door is acceptable really." William laughed again and patted his friend on the back, the two walking down the path to the school. The students that had been standing about watching had finally begun to stir now that the situation had been diffused. They resumed their slow and steady stroll towards the school, groups reforming to chat about whatever it was they were discussing.

"Hey, about today's study period. Are we still on for 1pm at the Training Grounds? We were going to do some speed training in conjunction with our contracts, remember." A standard training session, of course, they could do the more academic studies afterwards. As they walked by President Kurokami and Disciplinary Cayde again, William nodded to the two and then sent a cursory glance at the Grand Wealth, who had spontaneously revealed himself. William kept walking through the main doors with Vasek as the other Grand Council member approached the group as he didn't particularly feel like talking to him right now. If there ever was a contractor that he didn't like, William had found him.

Morgan watched silently as the William and Vasek walked away. Morgan knew that William was just trying to help but it still annoyed her that he took her job away from her. Well at least the fun part of the job. She would still have to write up an incident report and do all of the fun paperwork but that could be handled later. For now she should probably go back to the gate and keep watch again.

Slinging the spear around her should come and turning off towards the gate her foot stepped on what seemed to be a card. She leaned down and picked it up. It was an invitation to the Grand wealths party at his massive mansion. He even signed it himself. She quickly pocketed the card and walked off towards the gate. Morgan wasn't the Grand wealths biggest fan but she didn't really have a problem with him. He was a little to outgoing but otherwise he was a good person.

Vasek Prochazka
Vasek Prochazka.jpg

Vasek followed William into the school and listened to him as they walked together. Vasek painfully agreed with William on the subject of following the rules. He knew they were there for a reason, but at the same time, a good amount of them he considered fluff and of no real importance to conduct on school grounds. "Yeah McClain definitely seems powerful as hell. I need to develop my powers more in order to have a chance against opponents like her and the Grand Emperor. Despite my Myth's importance in the Slavic pantheon, it seems like I'm not up to par with a lot of the other Contractors here. Maybe it's because I'm an independent Contractor? Ah who knows..."

Vasek trailed off as they walked through the building. He started getting a lot of the stares from the girls, which he was accustomed to. He was always popular with the girls throughout his life, especially after he transferred to Shura a few years ago. He would constantly receive love and confession letters in his locker almost on a daily basis, but he rarely if not at all responded to them. Right now all he was focused was developing his powers to stand more of a chance against the true powerhouses of Shura. Bringing his attention back to reality, Vasek replied to William's question about their training session. "Definitively man. Gotta put in work and really got work on my speed, so good thing we're doing that today."

Vasek kept walking with William as they passed President Kurokami and Disciplinary Cayde. He also noticed William reacting abnormally for some reason. Deciding to find out why, Vasek looked in the direction that William was looking in and he saw the Grand Wealth. He knew about William's dislike for the Contractor but he forgot how deep seated William's resentment was for him. "Hey ignore him man, no need to get flustered. Wanna hit up the coffee shop after our training session?"

It seemed like she was telling the truth, and Nikolaus was willing to believe it. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw his other acquaintances leave which made him a bit sad, but it wasn't like he couldn't befriend them later. Turning his attention to the girl who he didn't know the name of he scrunched up his eyebrows.

"Sadly I do not remember who sie are Miss..." He spoke solemnly, before continuing, "—Sough, it may jog my memory if sie answers me zis."

Smiling, he knew there was one thing that would be universally loved, "Vat kind of bier would I order at zee Kniepe?"

He smiled when gave him the money. Always a generous man, he was, giving his money away like that, he had to respect the man for that. He nodded at him and said "Thanks man, seriously, and trust me, I know exactly what to get her. Anyway, I suppose I should let you on the plan: So, I will be giving the opening speech seeing as our God-forsaken emperor didn't show up, and then Maya and Shen will take the Martial Artists a tour of their dorms and the school. William smiled reminiscently as he remembered all the times he had had to watch Morgan kick serious ass when students misbehaved, "Yeah, she's pretty impressive. Although that's to be expected of a Student Council Disciplinary, we don't choose second-rates to represent us." William was beginning to get slightly thirsty so he reached out to the side and a small golden portal opened up, of which he then pulled a water bottle out and took a sip from, "Want one?" He reached back in a pulled another bottle out, offering it to Vasek.

"It's not a matter of you not being strong enough. Your contract isn't about battles of strength, it's a battle of wits. You're a summoner, an elemental and a shapeshifter; open honest combat is not your style." Another sip of water and he put it back into the portal, then running a hand through his hair, "Subterfuge, misdirection, confusion, trickery. It's much easier than trying to simply smash your enemy to pieces if you know how to do it right." William winked at Vasek wryly, "Of course, the former can be much more fun at times."

It was not long before the two found themselves in the main school's canteen, food already going about as the cooks served breakfast meals to those who had to rush in early or who simply liked to eat. William glanced about to see if anyone else he knew was in the room before turning back to Vasek, "I'll explain it in more detail at training, you'll see. Even the Grand Emperor's infinite strength can't protect him from being tricked." William had decided not to comment at the mention of the Grand Wealth, instead choosing to shake his head. It wasn't that he resented the guy or anything, he just found him really obnoxious and annoying despite his potentially good intentions. Either way, it just wasn't a conversation William wanted to have so early in the morning.

William walked over to the serving bar and asked for an apple, which he was promptly given, "Hey, you want anything? I can get a few things for free as a sort of payment for my job."

Seung had been enjoying herself in the course of this game and it seemed to be going well. Until she had been asked a question upon hearing it she nodded her head. "How could I forget when you always were drinking it, even stealing sips when I told you to quit. How did you like to say it again? Weissbier?" How'd she know the favorite drink of a person she had never met? Well Seung Ju had a good sense of smell her time running from her Uncle helped. It was faint but the smell of some type of alcohol from his accent she guessed German. So her best guess was something from there she supposed like Wheat beer. She couldn’t just say the answer though she had to sell it be confident in her answer as she had learned that was the baseline for any lie. Sometimes, days such as this were inevitable. Fortunately for me, the school gates could probably let a small giant through, so even with my "7 feet tall body" could believebly fit through. Having to go in public time and time again proved a challenge. Normally it would have been easy for me to construct an avatar to take my place, going about the day in school in my control while I myself went out and about or stayed in the dorm room and continued my studies from there. It was like being two and one at once, and it technically was attending class since I could still anything that happened to the avatar, including what it heard. Today, however, was a special day. Newcomers had arrived to our school grounds, preparing to start their year. Naturally, as a member of the student council for my faction, I was expected to be there. In person. Furthermore, as the treasurer for that same faction, I was of course expected to prepare a budget and evaluate what we could or not afford to do, how damaging it would be to our finances. Only, today, as I checked on our lastest counting...

<If only I had more power... I would be able to stop things like this. But as it stands, not even the student council president can prevent that baboon from painting every event brown.> I thought, my golden gauntlets closing in frustration. Still, the monkey was far from the only troublesome one around. Just today, the golems I created and spread through the school witnessed this DRAGON landing on school grounds and threatening to fight with a fellow student council member. If it had been a wild beast, I would have understood, but for a contractor to have such contempt for authority after being blessed by one higher than themselves, what disgusting behavior. Then again, such behavior was nothing compared to what certain martial artists would be willing to do in a snap. Therefore, it was all the more important that I found our council president, Maya, and gave her the news about this morning's findings. I could guarantee she would not be pleased. I doubted she would be pleased with the dragon's event either.

And yet, that wasn't even the worst offense! There was this brute beating three of his martial artist underlings in clear disrespect for the rules, for example. The fact that they thanked him after getting into a beat-down like that made me seriously question whether this was a reagular thing, since, after all, that would explain a lot about how these martial artists were so crewed on the head. Yet, by some Herculean leap in logic us mere contractors could never hope to comprehend, that student council president of theirs figured it would somehow be a great idea if he were to say, hire the person they had JUST wtinessed breaking the school rules to be their... something. Honestly, I couldn't pick up the whole conversation, as my golem would have probably have been smashed to bits if i got too close. Martial artists were like hyenas: Dumb, disloyal, ungrateful but with senses and bite greater than deserved. To think the people considered them on par with contractors. The triumph of fear and violence over rationality.

From the corner of my eye, I spotted Willam and that other person, the dragon one, going into the canteen. If anyone knew where to find the president, he would be that person. And worst case scenario, I could at least lay the message onto him before I gave it to the president. We had been friends since young...surely, I could trust him to make a proper decision. Ignoring any other voices, I headed into the canteen myself. My golden armor (attached to the cloak), did make some noise, but fortunately it's nature as a divine gift did a splendid job at tampering the clank.

"I wouldn't be too sure. Unfortunately, his kind seem to have some way of turning muscles into a cheap mimicry of our power. It would be hard to tell whether they also figured out a way to tell lies from truth. Though speaking of the emperor..." I commented in the stern echoey male voice that came out of the armor, having overheard William implying that all-powerful chimp would be so easily tricked despite their obvious brute strength. I didn't bother taking a seat or waiting to talk in private though, as said chimp could very well start some commotion any moment now. regardless i was easy to notice, seeing how from their perspective I would appear to tower over them. "Willaim, I have some information regarding our accountings. And I don't think you nor the president will be found of it. There seems to be large portion of our funds that disappeared overnight. We both have a good idea of who might be responsible, but I think I should inform the president too, do you know where she is? I think we should be acting fast before any MORE people get hurt this morning. And by the way, mr. drgaon, you are hearing thsi because I'm in a hurry. be sure not to repeat it outside."

Vasek Prochazka
Vasek Prochazka.jpg

When William brought up Vasek's approach to his training, he started rethinking everything. What he said made sense. Maybe this whole time his mindset wasn't in tune with his contract's strengths. Veles loved using subterfuge and trickery to fool and fight the other Myths of the Slavic pantheon. Vasek decided he would change up his training and his mind on using his abilities more creatively and thoughtfully. Accepting the bottle of water William handed to him, Vasek downed it within seconds and threw out the window.

They both walked into the canteen and got their breakfast from the serving ladies. When William offered him an apple, Vasek accepted it gratefully. "Thanks man. I got you back." Vasek waited for William to walk back so they could find a seat when a person in large golden armor entered the canteen and started speaking with William. It was the usual Council stuff that Vasek had no interest in whatsoever, until that is when the person in the golden armor started talking about funds disappearing overnight and such things like that. This peaked Vasek's curiosity quite a bit so he walked closer to the two of them.

Just as he came closer to the two of them, Vasek was surprised when the golden armor addressed him as Mr. Dragon. Hmm, I like the sound of that. Understanding why the person let council information be discussed in public, Vasek assured the two of them. "Don't worry, you guys can trust me. My circle of friends is small anyway." Addressing the golden armor in Slovak, Vasek said, "Môžete mi volať všetko, čo chcete. Je viac pre vás, než pre oko. If you want to know what I said, we'll have to speak again. Though I like Mr. Dragon, has a nice ring to it."

As Morgan stood at her post by the front gate and watched for anymore disturbances the rage faded away leaving her in her normal state of mind. Most of the new students seemed to be finding there way around okay, well all except for one girl in particular who Morgan had been watching. The white haired girl was obviously uncomfortable and looked lost. So far she hadn't done anything to stick out so it didn't seem like anyone was paying attention to her. Well Morgan was on the student council so it was her job to help out lost students.

Morgan made her way over to the girl, "Do you need any help?" she asked the girl. Morgan either didn't notice or didn't care that people were giving her a wider berth than before, Most likely the Returning students had started to tell there stories to the new ones and most of the stories involving Morgan usually involved people being punished, sent to the nurses office, or both.

Ikal jumped slightly , gasping before catching her breath before she was too busy watching some things unfold with the students and another huge group of people who she thought seemed to know each other , she looked at the girl who approached her ,looking over her features the girl had a very serious expression on her face, even then it made ikal sigh in relief and scratched the back of her head. "ah... yes actually , i'm really lost.. i have my schedule but i don't know where the contractors dorms are , since there seems to be more than one building.. Are you a contractor by chance? Oh and do you know if there is a food court near here? .. Ah.. sorry.. it's my first year here .. so i'm a bit confused."

Ikal sort of felt like she was bombarding the girl with questions as she bit her lip in an attempt to stop her rambling. "sorry. Really nervous." she muttered to herself , although it probably didn't help as she most likely left a really odd impression on the girl.

"Welcome to Shura academy first year, my name is Morgan McClain. I'm the disciplinary officer of the Student council of contractors." Morgan told her. This girl seemed to bit of nervous wreck. Even possibly worse at social situations than Morgan was, well worse in a totally different way. It would probably be better to lead her to Dorms and Cafeteria rather than just tell her. Suddenly Morgan started smoking, no not lighting a cigarette smoking, but actual purplish smoke started to come from her skin. After there was a smoke cloud the size of a person the smoke formed itself into the size of a person. A quick gust of wind blew past and the smoke dissipated leaving an exact replica of Morgan (Minus the spears wrapped in cloth on her back) standing next to her. The whole process only took a few seconds.

"Unforantily my current duties will not allow me to show you the way, therefore my sister will take you to the locations you wish to go." With taht being said Morgan turned and walked away heading back to her post by the gate. The Morgan clone gestured towards the school, "Where did you want to go first?" asked the clone.

"Oi, what the f#ck's up with all the moans you're making, you'd think to let a motherf#cker get some sleep!"

An oppressive force seemed to shoot down around the general area of Gala's eating spot. It was as if a war god had descended, and he wasn't too happy. The sudden pressure caused the nearby trees to suddenly get cracks in their bark. A violent wind whipped around as the force grew, causing nearby students in the garden to cover their eyes. Although there were very few students in the garden, most felt the pressure and did one of two things. Pass out from the overwhelming force or look to its source and run away in fright.

Sitting on the branch right above Gala, one leg hanging lazily off the side and his hands used as a rest behind his head, if not for the fierce glare hidden behind his sunglasses, one would think he was the picture of relaxation. Except for the simple fact that it almost became impossible to breathe with his power swirling around them. The Heir of Godslayers finally revealed himself.

Ryo Kantar: The Grand Emperor
(Location: Behind the school at the Cherry Blossom Tree Garden. With: Gala ( Karmessi Karmessi )Shun Kantar.jpg , loving them thighs)

"You gonna chill with all the moaning or am I gonna have to...Oh sh!t nevermind, it's G, what up Lady Thicc!?"

The godly pressure seemed to vanish as if it was never there. Students began regaining consciousness as others began warily stepping back into the cherry blossom garden, trying not to draw attention from the Emperor.

Ryo smiled as he hopped down from his resting spot, landing beside Gala with a soft thump. Ryo stood up and stretched his arms over his head, getting a few audible cracks from his joints. He then proceeded to plop down next to Gala, snatching her pudding and spoon from her and taking a bite out of it, a dopey smile on his face, "
Shoulda known you were the one making them noises G! I'm definitely sitting at a quarter chub thanks to you!"

Ryo took a few more bites before placing the pudding back in Gala's hands, the idiot had taken almost half of the pudding without asking. Then, with an invasion of total privacy, Ryo laid his head on Gala's lap and proceed to use her thighs as a pillow.

Passing students looked upon the scene with disapproving looks. The Emperor was doing what he wanted to again! A few Contractors looked at him with complete jealousy, they wanted to be on the Contractor Secretary's lap dammit!

Ryo let out a yawn as he relaxed on his (probably unwilling) pillow, a lazy smile on his face. His thoughts wandered to two subjects. 1: Maaaaan, Gala had the SOFTEST thighs. And 2: It seemed the jabronis that were always complaining about him were finally noticing their schedules missing.

It was all going according to plan, this orientation was going to be a blast. Nodding his head in satisfaction, Ryo faced towards the back entrance of the school, adjusting himself so he wouldn't make Gala uncomfortable. A pleased sigh escaped his lips as students glared at him, they didn't understand their glares made him happier!

Ryo closed his eyes to fall back asleep, already anticipating what was to come, either people would sense the sudden flux of Ki he let earlier or some student would report his appearance. Time to let this little show develop, "Yo Gala, when you're little punk ass co-workers start showing up and making a fuss, remind them exactly who I am."

The Grand Emperor had finally shown himself...and he was taking another nap, the lazy prick.

"That's great! Unless President Shen wants to handle it himself, I can get you everything you need after the orientation."

It seemed the vice president was pleased. At the very least it seemed like his integration into the Student Council would be relatively seamless. Then, as he was giving the Vice President a nod of thanks, he heard a language he had not heard spoken in quite a few years, causing his eyes to turn back towards the Kimono-clad contractor.

It seemed that he was in the company of another multi linguist... That could yield some fun in and of itself.

That name though... He knew he had heard it relatively recently, but for the moment it was escaping him exactly where the name had come up before.

"My friend Ken here tells me that you're supposed to be my dormmate."

Oh yes, that's right! He had found it puzzling that he was suddenly being roomed with someone on the Contractor course earlier that morning. Ultimately, it didn't really matter to him, but he knew many Contractors liked to bite their thumb at their perceived "inferiors". Frankly, he hadn't wanted to start the new semester explaining to the powers that be why his roommate had suddenly decided to become a ceiling fixture in their living room, but some Contractors wouldn't stop running their mouth until it was full of ceiling insulation. Then again, some Martial Artists weren't much better...

"As such, may I offer you one of my spare bentos? I accidentally made too much this morning and I feel it'd be a good offering to hopefully a new friend."

All at once, Dante's entire demeanor shifted. His gaze locked on Yoru's, staring at her as if staring directly through the physical body and straight into the very soul. This person had no idea the kind of demon she had just tempted with that kind of offer.

With no warning, a mighty roar pierced the silence. It sounded as if a lion had suddenly materialized itself in the midst of these students. However, there was no king of beasts among them. That beastly roar had come from the oft-empty belly of the new Martial Artist Disciplinary Officer. The break had, unfortunately, been a particularly lean time for him financially. He had managed to stretch his savings to feed himself over the break, but the last of those rations had been consumed the night before. Making matters worse, a few more cruel, food-less days separated him from the next paycheck... If he was fortunate, maybe he'd get a stipend for being on the Student Council... He could dream, at least...

In the meantime, the creature before him had tempted the ravenous beast that was his empty stomach. Slowly, he stepped closer, the look in his eye tinged with a predatory hunger, almost as if Yoru herself were his prey....

"Arigatou Gozaimasu!!!"

.... If he had bowed any faster he'd have given himself whiplash....

Even still, the wind itself had suddenly kicked up from his sudden movement, causing a sudden light gust to whip past the group in all directions, scattering some of the stray papers that had been strewn about by an earlier display and, in one particular case, smacking a nearby student in the face with one. Truly, Yoru did not realize what an offering of food, much less a home-made bento, meant to the cooking-challenged Martial Artist.

His metabolism, even with no training involved, required him to eat quite a bit of food to sate his incredible hunger. The Kami no Arashi style, to make matters worse, tended to increase the caloric demands of the practitioners, increasing his already tremendous appetite. Add in the fact that he couldn't cook and relied on premade(and thus, more expensive) meals, and Dante often found himself not nearly as well fed as he would like.

So, if Yoru's goal really was to befriend the Fatal Tempest, she had easily succeeded in one fell swoop, especially if there was some meat in that bento.

Even as Dante tried to speak again, he had to swallow to keep himself from unintentionally drooling just from the thought of a freshly prepared meal that didn't come from a supermarket. "Es verdad. Soy de España. Pero no viví allí durante muchos años." (It's true. I am from Spain. But I did not live there for many years.) Dante finally spoke while rising, realizing it would be rude not to acknowledge her non-food related statements now that he'd offered his thanks. Of all the languages he spoke, it was clear Spanish was his most comfortable besides English. His accent was so perfect that he had, on every trip to Spain, been mistaken for a local instead of a visitor.

"My family traveled a lot growing up, so I never really spent to much time in one place." He admitted, finally switching back to English. "Je suis devenu couramment dans plusieurs langues."(I became fluent in several languages) Even if the accent wasn't perfect, the pronunciation was that of someone that was clearly fluent in the language. "Ich bin in mehreren Sprachen unterhalten" (I am conversational in several more languages.) Now there was German too. Now, he had no way of knowing how many more languages, if any more, Yoru spoke. Really, he was just stretching his linguistic muscles, so to speak, to see how many other languages she knew. As for himself, he was fluent in seven languages, and conversational in maybe a dozen more, not that some languages took much to be conversational.*** In truth, most of those languages he was conversational in were closely related to ones he was fluent in, barring a few notable exceptions.

Really, he was just excited at the prospect of not only a roommate who could cook, but at the prospect of being around someone else capable of speaking multiple languages. Like any good blade, linguistic skills required regular care to retain their edge, and it was rather hard to maintain that edge with no one to talk to. After all, it served very little purpose for him to speak Italian to someone whose Italian vocabulary consisted solely of the words off the menu of an Italian Restaurant...

A new Emperor on the throne, his new (hopefully paid) position on the student council, and now a cooking-adept, linguistically talented roommate....

Dante was starting to think he stepped on a Leprechaun whilst strolling through a field of four-leaf clovers. That was the only way to explain this level of good fortune!

***To be considered native-level fluent in a language, that requires knowing/using roughly 20,000 - 40,000 words. In contrast, to be deemed conversational/conversationally fluent at a basic level you could need as few as 3,000 words.

After having helped give a lost student directions to the cafeteria and contractor dorms Morgan was walking back to her post by the gate. The martial artist student council was still standing around so Mrogan decided to take the longer route and walk by them to see if she could over hear anything. The only thing she heard was what sounded like the roar of a crazed animal from the student standing with the council that wasn't a member. Before Morgan could contemplate what was happening she was hit by a gust of wind, to make matters worse a stray peice of paper or something like that hit and stuck to her face.

Pulling the piece of paper off her face and looking around as the wind scattered more pieces, she turned and glared at the direction of the man who was ravenously eating . Despite Shen being there Morgan did her best to calmly approach the group. Coming up from behind the man who had finished eating she tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me but would you mind helping clean up the mess you just made." Morgan did her best to keep any emotion out of her voice but anyone who paid attention could hear the venomous tint in her voice. Her hand was also curled tightly into a fist around the piece of paper she had taken off of her fist.

Bakuto glanced around from person to person as they flooded the front entrance of the school. It seemed they had some time before orientation (if it happened at all at this rate ) he quickly noticed a commotion starting over by a gathering of students and approched.

"Hey guys how's it hanging?

That poor bento box didn't stand a chance. So innocent, untainted by the horrors of the world. It knew not what kind of beast it had been presented to. Gone too soon...

"Itadakimasu!"

It seemed that when presented with traditional Japanese things, Dante naturally fell into using the Japanese language instead of English. In the next moment, Dante descended upon the poor bento, inhaling the contents with such gusto and voracity that it was quite evident he had not had a full meal in quite some time. To any observer, his chopsticks (whether they came with the bento or he had produced them himself, who could could guess?) seemed to never stop moving.

When at last the chopsticks ceased their movement, there wasn't so much as a single scrap of rice left in the bento. However, there was still a single piece stuck to the corner of his mouth.

"Oishi~"

A content smile graced Dante's features, once more giving him more of a feminine appearance despite the rather unfeminine way he demolished the bento. A tap on his shoulder got Dante to turn his head, finding himself face to face with his Contractor counterpart.

'Oh.... she's pissed.....'

It wasn't just the subtle venom in her voice, even her aura showed signs of agitation. Even if Contractors were, because of their contract, unable to actually use their aura like a Martial Artist could, that didn't prevent them from having an aura.

"Excuse me but would you mind helping clean up the mess you just made."

Despite the polite diction, it was readily evident this wasn't so much a question as an order. It was easy to see how this girl became the Contractor Disciplinary Officer. Her commanding presence was nothing short of intimidating. Even still, it took him a moment to process her request. Last he had checked, he hadn't made any messes today. At least, if he had he wasn't aware of it. Then his eyes fell on the paper clutched so firmly in her grasp.

He really needed to remember to check his aura flow when he was excited. With how fast he had moved, it was no wonder he'd kicked up a bit of a gust. Still though, the papers themselves weren't his fault. Curiously, he flicked his wrist, which still held the chopsticks, to kick up a controlled airflow to bring a paper to him, which he readily caught with the chopsticks.

His eyes lit up when he saw what was on the page. The Grand Wealth was throwing a party?! That could only mean one thing....

FREE FOOD!!!

Oh clearly Fate was smiling upon him. A contented smile once more graced his features before he remembered there was a rather irritated Disciplinary Officer still watching him. Before he could speak up, Yoru interjected.

"Of course I'll help! That's what the SAC is for."

She went on to talk in another language, thankfully one Dante understood. So it seemed that no one had any clue what was going on with Orientation. Strange. Before he had just written it off as a simple glitch in his schedule, but it seemed to be a more widespread issue. Oh well, he could worry about that later...

"Hmm.... I didn't realize it was now part of my duties to clean up after the Grand Wealth" Dante began, holding up the paper so Morgan could see the Grand Wealth's signature scrawled across the page. "But I suppose it'll be faster if I do it, either way." He paused, glancing to those gathered. "You may want to secure anything loose, like hair or pencils." he smiled casually, spinning the chopsticks around his fingers.

He allowed them a couple of seconds to prepare before, with a more grandiose wave of his arm, a whirlwind kicked up directly around him, pulling the papers in from all directions. Moving his arm much like a symphony conductor, the whirlwind slowly shrank around them, bringing the papers closer and closer until he had the whirlwind dancing on the palm of his free hand. Each movement used some of his aura to alter the speed and direction of the wind with surprising precision. Then, with a last flick of his wrist, the whirlwind vanished completely and the papers fell, stacked, onto his outstretched hand.

Coincidentally, a similar method was how he cleaned his room in record time when necessary. In fact, it was due to a special distaste for a messy room that inspired him to practice this particular technique so vigorously.

Glancing over at Yoru, he gave a lighthearted smile. "True, it's always fun to meet someone else that's got multiple languages at their disposal. It makes conversations so much more interesting."

"Now, is there anything else required of me I should be aware of?" Dante inquired, quirking his eyebrow at his Contractor Counterpart.

"Hey guys how's it hanging?"

Oh, it seemed the Grand Wealth himself had decided to make an appearance. Perhaps Morgan would have some choice words for him for scattering papers about the schoolyard. Surely this was about to get interesting.
