I'm sorry for your loss. I recently lost a pet as well. Keep up the awesome work with the service dog training. They're all beautiful!Nellie said:Oh my goodness.
You guys have such adorable pups!
Here's a picture of my boy, Shadow...It doesn't really count much since he passed away not too long ago from cancer. It still breaks my heart.
Other than that I do also train Service Dogs at work- they aren't _mine_ so to speak, but I work with them every day and take them home with me We have 19 at the moment so I can't put pictures of them all here. But here's a few

What kind? New pets usually are good at helping heal the pain, and you're giving another creature a good home.Nellie said:Thanks
I'm getting a new pup in the next month, so hoping it'll help me heal It's been too long since I've had a pup of my own.
A German Shepherd I'm training it to be an assistance dog for an organisation I run in the UK- they'll be an ambassador dog so it's pretty exciting! You can bet I'll be posting pictures on here when I have them!Kestrel said:What kind? New pets usually are good at helping heal the pain, and you're giving another creature a good home.

My sister got her pup the same way. She was a handful of adorable that they tried to say was eight weeks old but my sister said she could barely walk when they first got her and they had to mush up all her food.Karaleigh said:This is Lexi when she was about 10 weeks old. She's a Rottweiler cross. :3
She's approximately 8 months now. When we got her she was in a really bad state from a really bad breeder so we have no idea if she was actually 8 weeks old when we bought her (we think she was a lot younger), she had a really bad case of ringworm which was apparently passed on from her mother onto her and her siblings. Needless to say, we reported the people we got her from. But, she's a dream (housetrained at 3ish months, learns so quickly and is the most loyal cutie ever)! I love bragging about her lol.
