I think it looks good, and appropriately piratey.


EDIT: Oh, Andrensath, would it be okay if I edit my character a bit and put Ability points directly into a specialty, instead of using them as actual dots? I wanted my character to have a good level of knowledge about the First Age, but not a high Lore rating in general since I think that would include Second Age things she'd have no way of knowing, and I don't have the spare bonus points to do that much... I don't think it's normally allowed, but I was wondering if you'd be okay with that, since it's actually a disadvantage.

I'll rule that, yes, Awakened Mortals can attune to a Manse and get the Hearthstone. Be wary of Exalts wanting to take it away, though. :twisted:

Argh, this is annoying...


I found a decent picture for my character, but it looks as though the clothing of the character in it might be showing a little of the edge of her nipple. The image isn't of a particularly high resolution, so it's quite possible that it's just the lighting or a compression artifact, or I'm just looking at it too hard, but... bah. I'm not sure if it matters much on this site, and I believe I've seen less subtle pictures posted before, but what should I do?
 
Pm me the picture and i can use photoshop to extend the clothing enough to cover said nipple.


On that note, if anyone needs any picture editing done now or later I'll be happy to do it for them. I can do more then just change colors too, if you need tattoos added, or in this case add a bit more clothing or whatever just ask.
 
I have a bit of talent with Photoshop, so I tried to work on it a bit, but the quality of the image makes it a bit difficult to change anything without leaving traces... I suppose I'll just use it as is if the Storyteller gives the okay, as I've seen a couple of images with mild nudity posted around this site before, so even if it isn't just me I don't think it's against the rules. Which... we don't really have.
 
...Does anyone else have trouble entering text once the message gets long enough to scroll down? I've never had that problem before, but now it's nearly impossible to type anything more.


I suppose I'll try Firefox... and if that doesn't work, I can always write it out in notepad.
 
I always copy and paste, it saves on the sudden IE/Firefox crashes that I always get. ^^
 
Gah, I thought I could write a little faster than that...


Anyway, I'm done. I switched her weapon to a concussive essence cannon, since while I liked the dagger, I didn't want a weapon that didn't return when thrown and didn't really want an infinite jade chakram...
 
Thanks for letting me join this game. Sorry for the lateness, will post a character within the next two days. Am probably gonna play a navigator, with some medicine thrown in for a good mix.
 
I... usually just type it out normally, since I rarely have problems with crashes, and I'm too lazy to bother with word programs.
 
I removed Medicine to put another point into Archery and Awareness, as well as the Lore specialty, freeing up a bonus point to buy Longevity. I also adjusted my Essence pool to take commitment and the skin mount amulet into account, and I dropped the winged messenger bauble after I read the section about repair and saw that high First Age items cost an extra dot.


Armor gives an aggravated soak value equal to its lethal soak, right? I thought that was the case, but I can't remember where in the book I read that.
