Video Games Shinies You've Caught In Pokémon? (Any game)

Okay so I LITERALLY just made a search thread for a Pokémon so I had this idea. What are some shinies you have caught naturally, and what are the stories behind them, if any?
This can be from any Pokémon game, as long as it's got Pokémon you're good.

The first shiny I have EVER caught has probably got to be a Diglett in my Soul Silver game. For reference, its nose is blue in the shiny form, and you know what young, probably 10 or 11 year old me thought? "Oh, it's probably a boy then."
I'm just glad you were still captivated by the different color, stupid little me.

I've also caught 2 shinies in my Pokémon GO so far: a Torchic my literal first day of playing it, and a Ponyta that I caught this Saturday. I named them Torc and Quicksilver, resepctively. Both Pokémon are evolved now, while I still have another evolution to go for Torc.

I'm an avid shiny hunter, but I've only caught two shinies outside of a hunt.

My first one, and my first ever shiny, was a Furfrou that I found while scouting for my first shiny hunt. (Which ended up being for Mareep.) I'd been going on each route, getting two or three encounters, then comparing the Pokemon with other routes. I'm glad it was a shiny Furfrou, cause the other Pokemon I saw on the route was Abra and I'd already used my Master Ball. (Named Blacklight)

The second one was a Golbat in Let's Go, which I found in that cave with all the expensive stuff. I'd been trying to farm money to get more Ultra Balls to continue my ongoing Eevee hunting, so it was a pleasant surprise to find the big, green doof. Not my first choice of a shiny, given the bright green color, but I'm glad to have them nonetheless. (Named Melon)


For any aspiring shiny hunters, I really recommend using the Let's Go games! There's only the original 151, but it's by far the fastest way to get shinies. There's also the added risk of failing them, but I say it's definitely worth it!

Ooh, I actually just encountered and caught my first ever shiny in Sword last year! My friend and I were doing raid battles, and I had to do a double-take because I'd barely even been paying attention. It was a Pyukumuku, so not something I'd ever really use on a team, but still exciting to have. I always worried my first shiny would be one of those Pokemon whose shiny version is barely distinguishable from the regular version.

I've never had the patience for shiny hunting, myself, but big respect to people who do!
