BASICS
NAME: Kukai Inoyawa
ALIAS: SentinelAGE: 16
HEIGHT: 5'10
ORIENTATION: Bisexual
BIRTHDAY: August 3rd
ZODIAC: Leo
BODY TYPE: Lean, Muscular
NATIONALITY: Japanese
MORALITY: Lawful Good
PERSONALITY
Loyal; giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution.
+ Kukai is loyal almost to a fault. His bonds and friendships are not something he takes lightly-- if you befriend him he will be a friend for life... or at least until you unbefriend him. Regardless, Kukai is a person who stand up for those he cares about sooner than he would himself, and if someone were to wrong those he cared about he'd take it as a personal vendetta.
Reckless; (of a person or their actions) without thinking or caring about the consequences of an action.
+ Emotions often get the better of Kukai meaning he acts on impulse rather than any specific strategy. In fact strategizing isn't one of his strong suits. He would much rather dive headfirst into a situation and figure it out as he goes. Sometimes it works out in his favor, often it backfires. Will he learn from his mistakes? Probably not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Outgoing; friendly and socially confident.
+ Much like a dog, Kukai is incredibly approachable. He's very social and tries to include any willing participants into whatever shenanigans he's up to. He appears indiscriminate in who he will socialize with as long as he feels they are a good person.
Foolish; (of a person or action) lacking good sense or judgment; unwise.
+ Ya boi... is an idiot. He's the type that could burn water. Academics aren't his strong suit and it shows. This isn't a fact he is afraid to admit; however, perhaps by embracing his foolishness he's stifling his own growth and intellectual prosperity.

BACKSTORY
+ Born to the CEO of a major tech company, Kukai actually lives a very modest life.
+ During the school year he lives in a dorm on campus, and during the breaks he lives in a house with his 3 older brothers funded by his parents. This arrangement suits him well given that he and his parents don't get along.
+ His mother rarely speaks to him-- half the time she won't even look at him. According to his brothers this is because he was an accidental pregnancy she was forced to carry through.
+ His father is a strict man who is hard on all of his sons. He says he expects them all to inherit the company when he steps down, but most of them figure that only really applies to the oldest, Hideo.
+ Despite this and the age gap of 10 years between them, Kukai is actually the closest to Hideo out of all his brothers. He seems to have a sort of sympathy for Kukai and in many ways stepped in to raise him when his parents refused to.
+ Growing up, Kukai often tried to win the affections of his parents through excelling at his studies and hopefully being worthy enough to inherit part of the company.
+ This endeavor seemed fruitless, however, given that school isn't something he excels at. At least not naturally, that is.
+ Around middle school Kukai grew increasingly frustrated with his inability to do well in class and his parents increasing disdain towards him culminating in a period of time in which he was short tempered and often picking fights.
+ One day, after being sent to the office for picking another fight, Kukai noticed a story about Iradachi saving locals on the news. He saw how the headlines described him as a "hero" and the way in which his fame and notoriety was blowing up.
+ Following that incident Kukai changed course with his life. He gave up trying to win the approval of his parents or becoming the next heir to their stupid company. Instead he wanted to be a famous pro-hero and become successful on his own.

+ Kukai is incredibly athletic, his favorite sport being soccer. He hopes to become team captain in his 3rd year.
+ His favorite animal are dogs by a long shot. If the school would let him he'd own a pupper in his dorm. Often times he thinks about harboring one secretly anyway.
+ Kukai is dyslexic.
+ He also sucks at cooking. Help him.

QUIRK
Quirk: Rapid Restoration
Type: Tank
Description: Kukai's body can heal itself at almost instantaneous speed.
Strengths:
+ Kukai could easily win a fight against any non quirk user
+ Even in fights against people with quirks, it'd take a large amount of damage or nonstop damage in order to hurt him before his body can heal itself
+ His quirk also allows him to do stupid stuff normal people probably wouldn't such as jumping off a skyscraper or running into a burning building
Weaknesses:
+ His quirk isn't offensive. In order to fight he has to rely on weapons as well as physically training to be strong on his own.
+ He isn't immortal. His body heals quickly but it can only heal so fast. If he were to face an incredibly strong opponent his quirk would be almost useless.
+ Despite it's incredibly quick healing capabilities, Kukai still feels pain. Whatever is done to him will most likely heal quickly but it'll still hurt on impact.
+ He can't regenerate any body part that has been severed. He can only heal what is connected to majority of his body. If he loses a limb completely it's gone for good, and if the connection between his heart and brain are severed he'd die.
