Don't thank me yet, I'm far from finished. My last brain cell just died thank you
Oh boyDon't thank me yet, I'm far from finished.
Day.Soooo.....what time is it IRP again? I honestly can't tell.
From what I've seen so far, you've done a decent job. The sensory overload in my experience is spot on, the disliking small children part is very accurate and both autism and anxiety do tend to come together. Although I think the magazine selling is something that few autistic people would feel confident enough to do, even if they cope with it pretty well, and the social anxiety would just make the magazine selling even more unlikely.I just realised that I, a person suffering from social anxiety and autism, got social anxiety from writing a character suffering from social anxiety and autism. All because I was afraid I could not accurately potray a person suffering from social anxiety and autism.
So I need to think of a place that May'ona will try to steal a plasma core from. Anyone have an idea? I'd love to collaborate on this one so she ends up fighting some other character.
Maybe it’s getting transported or something like that so like, a vehicle hijack. Considering the rather open location, it could give opportunity for a couple of city slickers to
t h w a r t (patent pending). Or at least attempt to. Derpy Dev
Also, I'd be willing to have the staff's crystal be a plasma core, or at least something that fulfils a similar enough role. The paranoid conspiracy theorist having an alien tracking him down might make for an interesting dynamic.
The routine thing is kind of exactly why magazine selling works. Business is a very protocol driven practice, with set prices and clear cut routine for the most part. I feel as the though the behind school congregation would not be large and would trickle in, in small groups, so that attention would not be attracted. From what I've seen so far, you've done a decent job. The two main autistic traits that can be best portrayed in roleplay are perhaps firstly the lack of interest in socialising with people the age of the character & preference in interacting with older and or younger people and secondly the routines.

So it does, would May'ona interrupt the Angler's dog fussing antics though? And the game begins The Pattern .
