Standing at 5'8 and weighing a total of 155 pounds, Shay is not exactly a staple of masculinity. However, his size makes him quite agile. Blue hues are complimentary of the platinum blonde hair on the top of his head. Generally speaking, he keeps in very good hygiene - including nice, white teeth.


Personality:


Often polite and respectful, Shay is generally a risk-taker. He does not display a strong desire to succeed at all, making his true motivations somewhat hazy. For the most part, the young man is pretty well self-controlled. He is generally trusting of people, and encourages greatness from those around him. He is honest for the most part, but has absolutely no problem lying for personal gain. On that same note, Shay is not the type of person who is sympathetic, logical or altruistic. He has his own reasonings for his behavior. Emotionally speaking, Shay is extremely stable and optimistic for the most part, with a primarily observant nature.

Occupation:


Owns 50% of a convenience store that was previously ran by his foster father. He allows one of the monk's friends to employ and actually work as the owner of the store in return for fifty percent of the ownership shared. Shay recently enlisted in the military with the hope of obtaining a job as a transporter of cargo. His intention is to steal military-grade weaponry as well as other equipment.


Experience:


Shay began using his Mugen Liger at the age of seventeen. He is self-taught. The man has absolutely no training in terms of fighting with his Zoid; however, each year he got a little bit better. At year five, it is hard to say where he stacks up against other pilots, but he is not dead yet. Nor has he lost a fight. So, finding multiple successes amidst such dangerous choices of profession has solidified his confidence as a pilot.


Specialty:


When it comes to an affinity for a certain weapon, Shay is devout of such luck. There is one thing that could be said as fact, and that is when Shay gets into close-range combat situations. Typically speaking, he has average aim with his cannons, but cunning ability coupled with drastic levels of real experience in close-range combat has given Shay quite an edge on others when it comes to thinking on his feet. Whether it be dodging or hitting with a laser strike from the right angle with boosters, Shay makes close-range combat with his Zoid look like the work of Einstein.

At the age of ten, Shay murdered his own father after he came home from a night of drinking and physically assaulted his mother. Shay's mother committed suicide three days later. Shay moved in with his aunt and his cousin. Witnessing an event involving his cousin beaten to the brink of death by police has left Shay rather distrustful of authority. His cousin sued the officers and won. The two ex-cops, who were eventually laid off, murdered Shay's aunt in a home invasion. Originally they were looking for his cousin, who was out of town; Shay was with him. After finding out who was responsible, Shay's cousin then murdered the two ex-officers and was put behind bars for life. Shay was left without family members at the age of thirteen.


After he was caught stealing by the owner of a convenience store, the man adopted Shay as his own child. He was a terminally-ill monk. The two got close, but by the time Shay was seventeen, the man died. He left everything behind in Shay's name, including the Mugen Liger. Shay's source of income comes from the convenience shop (which is currently being ran full-time by a friend of the monk's. Shay promised to share the entire worth of the store halfway down the middle if he did all of the hard work and deposited half of the shares into an account for Shay once a week. Sometime after his adoption, Shay had a child who would have been aged five in present times, but he has not seen her since her birth. Both she and the birthmother are presumed dead. Shay's 'inconsiderate' behavior led to the initial break-up. Shay has been a drifter since the year after the monk's death.
