Most Call Me Jack
General Justice Braddock sat at his desk, smoking a cigarette. The General had a taste for relics of the early 21st century, and cigarettes fell under that category.
The General was interrupted by an officer knocking on his office door. "Come in," called Braddock. An officer pushed his way into the room and closed the door. The officer was Major Christopher Green, Braddock's favorite subordinate. "What can I do for you Major?" asked Braddock.
"Actually sir, I have a pretty important report for you," said the Major.
"What about Major?"
"The incident that occurred on June 27th 2097."
"The day when an unknown force killed 3,000 of our finest men?"
"Yes sir. We know who did it, as well as his last known whereabouts."
"His? Are you implying that one man killed 3,000 well trained soldiers?"
"Affirmative General."
The Major walked over to the General's desk and set down a tablet containing information on the man. "Major, give me a brief rundown on this guy, I'd like to know what I'm getting into before reading into this," said Braddock.
"He goes by Shaw, we can't find any documents referring to him as anything other than Shaw, so we assume he was born off the grid at some point. He is the leader of known pirates Psychosis."
"Do we have a picture of this guy?"
"We have a picture of him in an alley, presumably taken by another member of Psychosis. It's up on the tablet now." The Major tapped the screen of the tablet and a picture came up.
"You have got to be kidding me. This guy, with his skull motif and ski goggles, is the guy that killed 3,000 men?"
"Afraid so General."
"What is this guy built like?"
"Shaw, as far as we know, is 198 centimeters tall and weighs 115 kilograms."
"So this guy isn't exactly small."
"Yes sir."
"What makes him special enough to kill an army?'
"Sir, Shaw is an enhanced. From reports he can ran at 60 kilometers per hour and can lift at least 50 times his weight. He also has an insane reaction time, from reports, enough to dodge fire from energy weapons."
"So he's an enhanced that didn't elect to join our Real Heroes program? Great. So what made this guy want to commit such a horrific crime as to break into a barracks and kill all those soldiers?"
"From what we can tell sir, Shaw is stark raving mad. He has little, if any, concern for human life, he often will kill innocent people if they stand in his way. He is also a fanatic of sorts. From eye witness accounts he preaches about some kind of super powerful alien race that is coming to Sol to settle a debate. Something about a tournament. He's crazy, it's even tattooed on his forehead."
"Interesting, where was this guy's last known location? You said you had it."
"Yes, yes sir. Orion City on Earth."
"Earth? That man still goes to Earth? That seals it, he's insane."
"Sir?"
"Earth, Orion City especially, is the last bastion of the ways of the 21st century. We're a space fairing species now, we've met aliens, we're apart of the galactic culture now. He probably thinks he's fighting for humanity." Braddock shook his head, "Go on Major, I'll read these files. We'll get this guy."
"Yes sir."

I thought I'd do something a little describe a character in a dialogue between two distanced characters.
Shaw is a character in a story I'm writing called the Tournament to End All Tournaments.
