I was wondering three things. One, is it mandatory to have an image or can I describe my character? Two, does the space vessel need a cook? Three, is it too late to submit something? It seems you had people in mind. @Thinslayer

1. I prefer images, so I made it sound like they're mandatory, but a description is fine if you know how to make it vivid.


2. This particular vessel doesn't *need* a cook per se, since, being a small vessel, rations are more preferred, but if the character knows how to make smashing meals in a kitchen the size of a closet, you're hired.


3. If you don't mind being both Captain and Chef, then you're just the person we need to get started. I'm not keen on playing both Captain and Science officer myself.

@overlordfangirl: Couple things about the char app. In this universe's lore, aliens are a very recent phenomenon, mainly the result of Crescent genetic experiments (yes, they're that advanced). This story occurs relatively early in the timeline, when the Crescents have recently finished seeding the various worlds with alien life. The galaxy is mainly populated by human beings at this point, though the events of this story will change that. The Terran Federation, and the Subarashii in particular, will be the spark that ignites it.

The Crescents are the precursors I spoke of in the intro, and Reeve Maucolyn is the Chairman of the Immortal Council and de-facto Emperor (though all 7 Immortals are technically joint-emperors). The Crescents were the first humans to colonize an extraterrestrial world and have maintained a vast technological lead ever since. Your character is better off being the leader of another civ, like the SATO Alliance.

@armoredpotrol: Please post your comments in this tab in the future. Anyway, to answer your question, I think a better spot for the character is as a starship commander aboard a Crescent Warp Fighter. Their ships can be run by just one individual. You will receive your orders directly from one of the Seven Immortals, Erudessa Durvain to be specific.


Fyi, the current Council has the following members:

Each one of these people could single-handedly vaporize whole fleets or spy on every single person on Earth with the power of Seed, which the seven exclusively wield, so don't even *think* about disobeying their orders, because they will find out and make you disappear.

Bio: still blank ): my only idea: a prototype precursor that was flawed and then became the general for the crescent fleet. He won many battles, raids, and solo missions. He has extensive knowledge about every ship, gun, and tactic of the empire. But he once disobeyed an order from the counsel and was exiled. He has been wafering the universe ever since. He has spent most of his time alone but recently joined a Subarashii starship and joined their crew as a wingman.

The term "precursor" means "one who came before." In a sci fi setting, it usually refers to an ancient race that went extinct before modern times. No one actually calls themselves Precursors, and neither do the Crescents. "Precursor" is a referential term, not a proper noun.
