Fantasy Shadow Valley's Secret

Werewolves, to us they are just some made up creature that can turn from human to wolf, seen on twilight and all those other romantic drama movies. Not real right?

Wrong.

The town of Shadow Valley has been around since the medieval ages, surrounded by forest with a giant castle at one end of town. The castle was simply called Shadow castle and was known for a place that teenagers could hang out and have parties. The only way to get there is going across a bridge with a stream under it.

But lately the teens who have been going to shadow castle have never come back, when their bodies were finally found they where mauled and beyond recognition. The people who have found the bodies said they had deep claw gashes and teeth marks all over their bodies, others like hikers have reported howling and large paw tracks. Could this be the work of the werewolves?

Shadow sat on the balcony of one of the rooms to the castle, he had grown bored of standing a few minutes ago, he had been thinking about what to do with his pack the castle had been home to many parties from teenagers. What if they came back and one of his pack mates lost control? What would he do?


With a long sigh shadow closed his eyes and let the warm rays of the sun warm his skin, for the mean time his pack was safe and that's all that mattered.

Juliet started walking to school, the way she walked Juliet had to walk near the forest where all the murders and howling was heard. It didn't scare her that much of course there was things out there, it was a forest. Today she wore her blue dress that she had bought a few days ago today after school she was going to a party with her friends, at the Shadow Castle.

Mika shifted in his seat tucking his legs underneath him, his grip on his book tightening. Relaxing back against the window the window seat was attached to he tried to focus onto the words once more. They were slightly blurry and unfocused due to lack of sleep. It was hard to sleep when teens took it upon themselves to intrude the castle. Though he had to admit it was better then a angry pack out for blood. Shivering in memory he shifted before trying to focus on his book again.


It was better to be tired then dead.

Shadow looked to see Mika half asleep, with a slight chuckle he called the him "how about you go rest I'll watch out Mika" he suggested. Shadow wasn't the one to give orders but suggestions he trusted his pack to do what was right.

Blinking Mika looked up at Shadow from his book. Staring at him blankly it took a moment for the words to register. When they did he blinked and sent Shadow a grateful smile. A small nap will do him good. "Alright. Will do." Standing he sat his book down and walked toward the room he had claimed. It was small only consisting of a dresser, bookshelf, and a bed on the floor. He liked it though.

The air was crisp with the fresh scent of pine and the cold humidity. The glass doors leading to her balcony were wide open, letting a cool breeze flow inside the room. Eve lay on her bed staring at the ceiling. Her icy blue eyes were blank and filled with the signs of daydreaming as she glanced around. Her muscles ached for the adrenaline rush of a hunt. She could almost hear the elk scream as it fell to the forest floor, limp in her jaws. For now, hunting would have to wait. There was a rumor of teens once again entering the castle for another one of their notorious parties. Eve rolled her eyes at the thought in irritation.


The familiar voices of Shadow and Mika broke her mindless thinking, causing the blonde woman to sit up. Eve padded past the glass doors and onto the balcony. She placed her hands on the edge and strained to look upwards at Shadow. The wind blew her long hair around gently.


"Seen anyone yet?" Eve called up to him, flashing her pack leader a small smirk.

Shadow looked to see Eve, "no I think it's at night" he corrected the lead huntress. They where only going off of rumors there may not be a party at all, smiling Shadow came up with an idea "I can get another pack member to watch out and me, you, and Mika can go hunt" he suggested.

 

[Kassy]

"I don't understand why the teens think it wise to venture so far away. Do they not see the danger around here?" Midnight spoke up from the door way. She looked over at Shadow as she shook her head in confusion. "Maybe it's the danger they like. I'll never understand why they party I suppose."

 

[Penance]

Andrew was running through the woods looking for his latest kill when he caught the scent of a girl. He ran until he saw her. He hid in a bush to get a better look at her. She was wearing a blue dress walking by the area were your pack hunts. 'Heheh real smart little girl. Coming by these woods isnt very bright with all the murders.' He thought as he chuckled

Storm felt the gentle breeze tickle at her skin and make her hair flow behind her as she took in many scents, sounds and sights she was on the roof of the huge castle where she usually went to think or "take a chill pill" she sighed and looked down and saw the others mingling she scooted down and jumped grabbing a flag pole spinning and then flying off and into her room on her bed at the top floor she smiled and went downstairs to her Alfa's room an knocked on the door and chuckled she asked " May I come in? "

The huntress' heart leaped at the words of the alpha. A smirk appeared across her petal pink lips and she nodded. Just before she was about to say anything, Eve heard a distant knock on Shadow's door from above. She arched an eyebrow and chuckled at him.


"It seems you're quite busy. Catch up to us when you can." Eve flashed him an amused look before jogging out of her room and pounding on Mika's door with a fist.


"We're going hunting. Let's go." Eve called out, not giving him a sliver of a chance to respond. She was out the door and running towards the lush forest ahead in seconds. During mid sprint, Eve transformed into her werewolf form. Her four paws slammed against the ground swiftly, propelling her forward and disappearing into the undergrowth. She dodged a fallen tree trunk and leaped over a boulder in the way before slowing her pace. Eve's ears perked slightly, listening for any signs of an animal nearby as she padded further into the thick forest.

Mika was drawn from his small nap by the sound of Eve speaking paired with her pounding on his door. Yawning he stood and stretched as he walked after her. Transforming he shook the remaining aches of sleep from his bones before following Eve. As he listened for any animals he felt the thrill of the hunt began coursing threw him washing away any remaining tiredness. Crouching he began really getting into the hunt.

Shadow shrugged at Midnight "i suppose" he shrugged it off, teenagers always did things like this. Shadow's thought was broke by a knock at the door "come in Storm" he said going back into thought.

Juliet stopped walking and sighed, today she needed to get to school fast or she would be late, well later than she already was. Pulling out her phone she began to call her best friend when she heard something in the bushes. Looking back she spoke "hello?"

Storm came in and walked up to her Alfa and stood next to him and said " We should put the fighters on guard for tonight, just to be on the safe side " she looked to him hands in her pockets and hair flowing freely
