Hue couldn’t help but laugh at that, a laugh not friendly almost like a snark reply like he didn’t believe that.

Hue gave a short chuckle at his comment about the bath. He gave a sniffle and glanced up at David. “Good luck with the bath, if they are anything like you, they’ll smell just as bad.”

"Technically it was a manor, and your lucky you didn't, you spend your early years being dress up dolls, then you spend houers with tutors, then you add combine the doest two and atend parties and you never have any freedom. At least you had freedom and a life. Sam and I are jealous of you man"

Hue felt more water slip down his face as David explained a perfect life for. Him. A life with a family. He chocked back a sob.”David..” he said using what Sam always called him.”please don’t give me false hope.” His voice cracked.

Daved didn't respond for a bit then he says "let's get you to bed" then he pick up hue and put him on the bed befoer setting up his bed roll. I'll be here in the morning, unless they drag me away"

Hue nodded softly not saying much. He crawled into the bed and fell asleep quick.
The next morning Annabelle brought breakfast to everyone but Sam, and even ate whith Oliver. James brought milk apple slices and bread to Samantha and woke her up. He and Annabelle had spoken early that morning. Daved did not wake up when the food was delivered, he kept sleeping.

“It looks like the boy and Sams brother got along just fine..” he smiled happy.
Hue silently looked to David as he slept on the bed roll. He sniffles just from waking up and looked to the food being brought. His attention was to find an escape route.
Samantha rubbed her eyes softly as the door slowly freaked open letting in the hall light. She sat up deeming she should be up and watched as James came in with food. She smiled lovingly at him. “Good morning my little blue jay.” She smiled wide and stretched. Her body was a tad sore but she couldn’t help but feel sore near her collar bone, almost as if there was a bruise or mark. She couldn’t really tell with out a mirror.

Oliver just laughed when she did. “Funny.” He didn’t think that it was serious. He started to eat. The notion was ridiculous to him.
Hue listened to them but couldn’t understand a word. He looked around and saw Alexander near by guarding silently.
Samantha blushes as he sighed mine. She tried looking to where he tapped her and couldn’t see fully but she could see an outline of red, a red mark. So that’s why it’s a little tender.. she thought to herself and looked back up to him.

Bell ate her food, and said "so you know I will be calling attention to your skill today" bell warned him, she wasnt going to ti it to embrace him, but to set the foundation for elevating his status to an asset like she was.
