Fantasy Seven Devils and Angels

Kalel held on tightly, right now the only thing stopping her from winning this battle was his fetal grip, as his grip tightened and she was lifted her dark black eyes widened "It's Lust!" She replied before falling to the ground with a force even she was surprised by. Her eyes closed giving off the affect if her being dead, but she was merely reveling in the pain of the event. She clenched her fists and used all her might to move from the spot, her human body had broken several bones in that fall, all of which gave off terrifying cracks back into place as she sat up and held her head "who the hell are you archangel" she murmured after a long silence, she had been defeated, she wasn't dead but her spell had been broken by an Angel which disgusted her.

Though the demon held on long enough for her to avoid banishment, she didn't hold onto his soul. The slam crippled her human form and Galdreal had broken the spell, all the darkness exited his body, and he felt his legs give way at the sudden feeling of purity... He reveled in it's feeling for a moment before she sat back up. He thought he had killed her... Unfortunately he hadn't, although as far as he was concerned the battle was over, she had no spells to utilize against him and was most likely drained of all magical-energy... At least he hoped she was, he certainly was. He considered reaching for his sword and trying to end this once and for all, but his hand was just too sore, the darkness had left an exterior scar their, a mark? It wasn't a problem since it wasn't interior. It still hurt like hell though. Ugh, the creature had asked him another question. Disgusting! By what right did it dare speak to him at all? And now after this it continued to do so? The very thought annoyed, and confused him. Instead of replying to Lust's question Galdreal simply scoffed and whispered to himself. "Vile thing."

Kalel gave him another look and shook her head "Fine" she said sounding completely drained, before standing she pulled her blades out of the ground with a grunt and put them back in their holsters. She stood up and looked around, her eyes landing on the blade that had been drained of all possible power, although it was still stuck in his hand, broken. A small smirk appeared on her face as she continued to move and get the broken bones back into place "This was pleasant, although it's not over yet." She stated and began to walk away as if nothing had happened, she was still in immense pain but you could never really tell because she could hide it very good.

Despite the broken sword that lay in his hands he was far from powerless, Galdreal still possessed his spear and bot javelins, though neither could be seen by Lust. Standing up, he glared at the demon trying to casually walk away from the battle. "And why wouldn't it be over, why shouldn't I kill you right now Creature!" He hissed threateningly at her, his body still felt tingly and numb from the recent darkness but he was healthy in a physical sense, even if he was drained of his magic.

"Because I'm tired! I've been beat! And I know you won't 'Just, Kill me' " she spat back and crossed her arms, turning towards him "You and I both know you wouldn't just fight an unfair battle" she said with a mocking smirk and she stared at him. Kalel may act like a rookie at times but she had been around longer than most any other demon, she knew how to play the game. "If you really insist, I will even show you where I live! Drop on by later why don't you. Oh, though do be warned I haven't moved that one body yet.." She said before turning and walking out of the forest, towards her own home.

Galdreal knew that as an archangel he was bound to uphold his honour, and whether she be a demon or an angel the same rule applied. She was right, he couldn't kill her in an unfair battle, he had won the fight and what she said was almost an unofficial surrender, sneaky. How such a thing worked. She kept her pride and stopped him from winning. The next part seemed to be a mock of sorts, he didn't need to know where she lived. He would simply follow his senses to find her, and the body... An innocent she had murdered? She would eventually answer for her sins, unfortunately, the day would not be today. Slumping his body in an almost defeated posture he stared as she simply walked away, and he was bound by angelic-law to allow it.

Kalel glanced back at him and waved, she enjoyed this, even if she had lost she was still definately winning. A few minuets passed before she made it to her house and unlocked the door, walking in and looking around. She walked back to where the body was and scrunched her nose, with a snap of her fingers the body was consumed in a dark smoke, although this man was a Christian, he was going to heaven, but the evil was just to get rid of him. Once all that was don't she let out a sigh of relief and walked into her room, taking off her holster belt and placing it on a small coffee table, "I am not gonna heal from this so quickly this time" she said to herself, touching her back and stretching slowly, although she still felt defeated, she was excited to meet the Angel and fight him again.

Galdreal lay slumped in the forest for quite some time, pondering over what exactly just transpired. And how close he truly was to being corrupted. It was not a pleasant thought... Yet the fight with Lust was strange. He had won the battle... But she got the most gain? It didn't make sense... Or did she win the battle? Everything was still a haze and he didn't dare return to heaven for fear of the consequences. What would they all think to learn he let Lust slip through his grasp? Even if he won the initial fight she still lived, and to him that was a loss. He was truly at a complete loss of what to do. His soul ached and his hand was scarred, he had no safe-haven to go and only failure awaiting in heaven. No. He would need to stay on earth, where would he go though? It would take weeks for his power to heal, and longer for Lust's. But at least she could hide among the humans fairly well, he knew no such talent. Not that he needed to hide... That demon would die next they crossed paths, he swore it.
