Kalel smiles as she walked out of the forest and into the village, she looked around intently, not only on the outer appearance but taking a little peak inside to see what kind of personality they were hiding by their actions, pausing by a house with a cross hanging lazily on the door, to this she smirked "I wonder what the others in Minuit Grotte would think about this Hmm?" She whispered to herself, taking it off the door and looking at it "what exactly is this supposed to do for them? Let the Angels know which house to watch over?" Kalel spat in a mocking tone, dropping the cross to the ground and stepping on it as she walked away. Sacrilegious? Yes definately, Illegal? Not in her book. Her steps led her to her own house where she unlocked the door and dropped her bag on her floor, the next to go was her jacket. She wasn't the neatest person ever but it was her house, and she usually didn't expect anyone around here unless they want something from her.
Something felt wrong, he didn't know how, why or when. But something on Earth had changed, there was a disturbance... He couldn't quite place what exactly it was, but it was definitely there. Galdrael intensified his search, and focused on the power of the faithful to guide his watchful gaze... Focusing, he saw what appeared to be a cross, laying muddily on the ground, someone-no something, walked over it. And then his gaze was cut as soon as it began... That meant there was definitely something wrong, for even his vision of Earth to be stripped. Instead he waited, waited for the thing that caused it to reveal itself once more.
Kalel cleared her throat and and walked towards the back of her house, thoughts racing through her mind. She paused by a room that reaked of old blood, glancing inside she saw the source of the stench, a young man sprawled across the floor like a dog. Kalel made a scrunched face and leaned in then back out again, dragging the door closed with it "oh I have got to get rid of that, soon.. Or I'm going to attract pests" she murmured to herself. Kalel continued to walk down the hall until she made it to her Back door, she looked up and held her head, something felt unimaginably wrong, she turned around and cleared her throat once again and backtracked towards the body, leaning against the doorframe "why do I do this?" She murmured to herself.
Galdreal considered taking this recent disturbance to the other angels, or-god forbid-the other archangels, but what kind of archangel would he be to go crying over something that could be nothing. And if it was something then he could handle it, he would handle it. To be extra sure, he went to his home, it was quite amusing how some humans believed heaven to be a big field of pure light, it was bright, and it was very high up above the earth, but the angels still needed homes and still needed to be well armed in case the demons ever breached earth... Well, not earth, most angels didn't care about the world, they merely cared about heaven. Hiding behind these golden walls to keep them safe. If the demons were to take earth then the fight would be brought up here. That much was certain. This wasn't even considering the disappearance of their father, eons before this. The keeper angel was a replacement of sorts, but he wasn't omnipotent. Although traveling to earth was forbidden, as an archangel. Galdreal was in a position to break the rules, and if he had to pay the price later then so be it. But for now, if something was wrong on earth, he was going to fix it.
Kalel soon left the body to continue to rot in the same place. She left her house to go on an aimless stroll, she couldn't stand the stench and for some reason didn't feel like she wanted to move the damned thing anyways, walking down the street she passed numerous houses, a few giving her a disgusted feeling of pure, good, holiness. She knew Angels inhabited earth also, but whenever she was around then she felt almost sick. Looking up to the street she spotted a young, rather attractive man. He was standing my one of the crosswalks waiting to walk across the road to what looked like a bar. With a friendly smile now plastered on her face she approached and human and clasped her hands together "hello, fine day isn't it?" She asked looking straight into him eyes, her own turning a pure black for a moment before returning to their original chocolate brown. She had now marked him as her own prey, just in case another demon had him in mind. Her eyes diverted back to one of the houses where she felt the Pure goodness radiating off of, with a sigh she walked across the street, hoping whatever type of purity that was in that house wouldn't step foot near her. She looked back to the young man, replacing her smile as they began to talk.
"Aghh!" Galdreal felt something inside him churn, the feeling of darkness making itself known, he had been watching earth for the culprit to make a move, and his worst nightmare was confirmed. Hell had come to earth, a man had been marked... This was ill news for him. However, he didn't take the news to any other angels, he knew they would merely dismiss his warnings and claim heaven was 'safe' for them. But not Galdreal, he would be humanities champion, and if he alone had to face the hordes of hell then let them come! He plunged his sword through the cloud and gathered his energy, and with a sudden burst, he vanished... Only to come crashing through the skies of earth like a meteorite, he had tried to land where the man was marked, however he felt he was a few miles off-or a few hundred. Striking the ground with sickening force he plunged his sword deep through the earth where a crater had formed upon his arrival. People would have seen him fall through the sky, it was time for him to leave, and hunt the minions of hell.
Kalel was in the doorway of the bar when she turned and watched something fall from the sky, a sickening feeling down in her gut but still a smirk of pure joy and evil appeared on her face, let the games begin. Better yet, don't give away your identity. she said to herself before turning and walking into the bar with the young marked man, she knew the Angel would be able to find her and the marked one just by sense, but the fun part would be hiding herself, the mark woul be easy. But there is a reason demons can easily hide among the humans without being sniped so easily. She sat at the bar and continued her mindless conversation, while awaiting the arrival of the Angel, she wouldn't be able to tell who it was just like she would be hidden, but she would sense him as well as him her, this has got to be fun...
Galdreal kept a steady pace towards the nearby village in which he could sense the demon, but he had to admit. Earth was indeed beautiful, he hadn't seen it in person in longer than he could remember, but now, to hear the birds with his own ears, feel the wind with his own face, see the sun glistening off the sand with his own eyes... This, in his mind, was far grander than heaven ever could be. Although it certainly wouldn't be should the demons have their way, those vile things would twist and change this beautiful star into a floating fortress of pure despair. He would not allow it, nor would he allow them a foothold on which they could assault heaven. Galdreal entered the village gates, clad in shining armor with a cowl over his head. The demon would be able to recognize him easy enough, then he would kill it. The only thing he had hidden was his wings and halo, just so the humans couldn't recognize him. Though he got many strange looks whilst following the sense of evil, he was more interested about the humans around him, they were strange beings. Interesting ones too. He would have to study them more sometime, but for now. He had a demon to meet, confidently, he entered the bar in which his senses were strongest.
Kalel turned around as she felt him enter the bar, she smiled and waved like a normal human, oh, this would be easier than she thought seeing as how he was in full armor, and she was just a simple looking human. She looked back to the man she had been talking to and snapped her finger, instantly he fell asleep, his drink slipping off the counter and shattering and his head hitting the bar, he now sat there slumped in his chair, looking like he'd passed out. Now it was her turn to act, Kalel jumped out of her chair and gasped, covering her mouth with one hand while her face took on a horrified expression. A few people rushed over and helped the man, while others asked her what happened "I don't know! He just passed out! He's my neighbor, I'll just take him home." She said in a shaken tone, she couldn't very well just walk out with him like she usually would, she wanted a show.
Galdreal looked around the bar, feeling how his senses burned. It was definitely here, then out of nowhere, a woman jumped out of her seat as a man slumped next to her, people headed over asking her what happened, to which she claimed she didn't know. Then, however, she intended to leave the bar. And nobody was leaving the bar. Turning to face her, he stared, he stared at her for a long time. Something just felt wrong about her... Was she the demon? He wasn't sure. "Nobody leaves the bar." Galdreal's voice boomed above the commotion, making sure he was heard. With all his power he was trying to focus on his senses, yet the most powerful archangel in heaven couldn't detect a demon? No. This was a powerful demon, this was one of the seven. It had to be.
Kalel and as well as many other people jumped at the sound of the mysterious mans voice, her worried face had turned to that of an annoyed one, this angel wasn't normal, something had to be different. "Someone just call him an ambulance then" she spoke up again and snapped her finger again, the man waking back up, all the while she glared at the Angel. She was hinting to him but she needed the man off her hands now, she had bigger prey. Yes it would've been fun and she would've continued her game, until she found out that this was no regular Angel, he had to be an archangel of course. But he was stronger than your average Angel. Kalel turned her attention back to the man and patted his back "he seems to be doing just fine now" she said to the few people who had bothered to help, but the only problem was now the man wasn't marked anymore and she needed a new victim.
The demon was either extremely stupid, or extremely brave. It had all but revealed it's identity with the amount of talking it did and the glaring it cast at him. He glared in turn beneath his cowl, "You there, stand up" He was speaking to the young girl, the one he suspected was the demon. He was only barely holding back from smiting the whole bar into oblivion, but that would have some repercussions if he was wrong, even though he was sure he wasn't. The mysterious casualty who fainted regained consciousness and was now unmarked as well. What a coincidence that she happened to snap her fingers at the same time! He didn't even know why he was waiting. He should be murdering this demon right now, yet, he wasn't.
Kalel nodded and stool up, by now people were staring, Are your sure you want to do this here? her face hinted, she knew perfectly well some Angels loved the earth and its humans, and some hated it. But by the way this one was acting, she didn't know what to think, and of course if the humans watched Kalel die in front of their eyes there would be, an outburst. Taking a chance she walked over to the Angel, trying to keep a straight face as she felt his purity before walking towards the door, she motioned for him to follow, she wasn't afraid of him at the moment, she knew she could put up a great fight and that is exactly what he wouldn't do, I mean he already knew her identity so why not right? But wait until he found out who she really was. Once she had walked a fair amount away, towards the nearby woods, she turned to face the Angel "hello then." She grinned mockingly.
The demon had beckoned him to follow her away from prying eyes, he knew it to be apart of her plot yet he would not want the lives of innocents to be ended due to their conflict. So his own nature obliged him to follow, and so he did. Every second he could feel the darkness oozing from her form, the temptation to release a smite was nearly overpowering. Yet they reached their destination, a secluded spot deep in the forest, where no humans would be harmed. She smiled mockingly as she spoke a greeting, Galdreal did not care. This was over, he had only held back earlier to save the lives of the villagers. Channeling his power he withdrew his sword and pointed at the demon. "Any last words, hellspawn!"
"Yes actually! Your name?" She asked, she knew perfectly well she couldn't be killed, even if she was she would be cast back into hell, where she would just work harder to regain a spot on earth, judging by how she sensed this archangel he was one of the strongest, he wouldn't be killed either "I go by many different names just if your interested, Kalel is most common here, otherwise you may know me as lust" she stated simply before drawing her own weapons, they were simple, but with her energy surging through them they were much more powerful blades, she spun one of the blades like a toy as she awaited an answer from the Angel. "So cmon, who are you anyways?" She asked being impatient, now the recklessness was coming into play, one of her fatal flaws.
Galdreal was getting annoyed at her useless stalling, and he certainly wouldn't allow this demon the pleasure of speaking his name. The very thought of it made him sick, yet what followed was most surprising, and most interesting. Lust? She was Lust? He would admit he'd never have guessed, he believed her to be Envy or Gluttony, not Lust. This was in fact slightly worrying, Pride and Lust where his least favorite demons, mainly because all angels possessed tiny fractions of sin. So small they are unnoticeable, but Galdreal's connection with humanity has made him slightly weaker when faced with sin. As an archangel he was still vastly more powerful than any basic angel but he wasn't facing a greater demon, he was facing a king-or queen- of hell. She also withdrew her own small weapons, why he didn't know. They would never be able to pierce the heavy plate he wore, maybe she didn't intend to? A plot? Most likely. However she asked his name once more in a somewhat impatient tone. Hah! He would gladly tell her. "I'm your absolution, Lust!" He boasted in an all too confident tone.
Kalel, or rather, lust began to laugh "you are all to familiar with this world aren't you? It makes you vonerable" she said still laughing slightly, taking the one dagger she had in her hand and looking down at it before throwing it to the ground, it pierced it and stuck straight up like a steak, it sleaned this black looking sort of smoke that reaked of pure evil, she reveled in it but previously, with her last run-in with an angel, he was much younger than this one. He was so easy to give in to this, although she knew this one would be much more difficult to break, it was still fun to watch the heaven dwellers struggle, and fight the urge of sin. Lust made a circle with her hand making some of the smoke move she grinned "isn't it great?" She asked the Angel quietly, granted she was trying to make him cave, but if it didn't work, then it served as a great distraction.
Despite her mock the words rang true, Galdreal shared more similarities with humans than many of his own kind, and had spent more time in heaven watching earth than living in 'paradise'. Still, the moment her dagger hit the ground he knew it was show time, the black smoke that seeped from the blade shrouded around him. A spell of lust, the urge to do sin creeping into his purified mind, but only barely. With a roar he raised his sword to the sky as a beaming streak of light hugged the sword he held and formed a barrier around him. "Go back to the pits from whence you came!" slamming the sword into the ground a large smite rushed across the area, though the dark fog remained, it was now entangled with glistening light. He couldn't see whether it affected Lust.
Kalel watched him, carefully at that. It was quite fascinating in her mind, she enjoyed watching the Angels be corrupted, although it was cut short as he played his part, slamming his blade into the ground she could immediately feel the impact. She stumbled back a bit and twitched, this had never happened before because my now they wouldve already been under her spell, she looked at her hands as they shook, the feeling of purity, smite. It was attacking her brutally, but after a few minuets of not seeing her opponent and struggling, she fought back and it cleared up a bit, throwing her second dagger into the ground and releasing more smoke, now she could see the Angel, she was surprised he had hurt her though.
His smite had damaged Lust, and he knew it. He could sense the damage that had been done. And even as she released her second daggers smoke Galdreal was not deterred, with the shimmering light shield still hugging his body he charged at Lust, his sword growing lighter by the second, he had this, this demon couldn't hope to defeat him! He was the best of heaven and earth! And SHE thought he'd die by the hands of Lust?! Pitiful! With a mighty leap, Galdreal lunged towards Lust, bearing his sword, poised for a deadly cleave. He was fully confident this battle was his for the taking. Perhaps overconfident.
Kalel watched him charge her, she smirked at his confidence although armor does have a flaw, you can take it on and off. With her third dagger at the ready she waited until he was close enough before dodging his sword and stabbing him straight in the hand, a smirk on her face, it wasn't enough to kill him, but now that it was in him and the spell started seeping out again she had him in her hands now, she was confident of it. "Feeling alright? You look a bit pale" Kalel commented in a cooing voice as she watched his blade, making sure he wouldn't try to strike again. She had pierced his hand and the light around him and she was very pleased.
The blade punctured his hand moments before he had a chance to strike, and before he could continue the attempted strike a darkness began to sink into him. He felt sick to the core, this was both painful and not. Whatever it was, it was evil. And that was not a good thing for him. His light shield had broken in that one place, and now it was breaking all around him. Nevertheless, he was still the most powerful archangel in heaven and he wasn't done yet! He dropped the sword, realizing he wouldn't be able to strike her. Instead, he drew the forces of faith into his hand and as it began glowing brightly he said the magic words. "I banish you, demon of hell, Lust, I banish you with faith and I banish you with the Lord as my witness!" With the light in his hand he reached up and gripped her throat. He wasn't sure if it would banish her, he was sure that it would be immensely painful though. And would break whatever spell she was trying to cast over him.
Kalel was very satisfyed with her work, she watched in awe as her darkness cast a shadow over him, but once she heard him speak her grin faded away and she backed up slightly, she knew her worst fear was being cast down with the other six knowing she had been defeated, and she couldn't let that happen. Although before she could fight back her throat was gripped, and the feeling her soul was being ripped out was a hundred times worse, a eerie Acreach came from between her lips as she gripped her blade, pushing it further into his hand, although her spell was weakening she wouldn't stop now, and she wouldn't be cast back into hell. After her blade went out the other end of his hand she held onto the wrist of which he was choking her with, her eyes turning a pitch black now as she fought back.
The miracle had worked as intended, her screech of pain would be heard from miles around... But she held on, she pushed the bleeder deeper until it punched through his hand and the darkness still clung onto his very soul, he could feel everything go hazy as his purity was losing a battle against sin-against lust. The spell had weakened but without a light barrier to keep the dark out, any dark was fatal to light. He had to get her off his wrist, that was the the dark connecting them was the only thing preventing her banishment, and soon the spell would wear off. He had to do something! Tightening his grip on her throat he used his great strength to lift her from the ground. "Release... Me... Filth!" He commanded in a desperate tone, before slamming her onto the ground with enough force to kill a mortal or any lesser demon, but she was lust. And he doubted it would kill her, he only hoped it broke her grip on his wrist.
