Faction Before Blood
My people skills are rusty...
Before I get into the idea I would like to say that I am looking for a 1x1 first and foremost but would not be opposed to a small group, if this gets enough interest, of no more than five people, not including myself, whom can all play more than one character (I would prefer my 1x1 partner be comfortable playing more than one character as well). I cant make any promises about my posting schedule but I will make an effort to post, at the least, every other day even if it's just to check up... So the rp might be slow at times (but I am good to go at the moment for a few weeks probably). If I can think of anything else important I will edit it in.
That being said...
The selection [modern technology]
We live in a world with eight castes, depending on one's social and economic status. Ones being the royal family, twos being famous actors, singers, talks how hosts major league sports... Anyone famous. Threes consist mostly of the military and their families, also some lesser famous people. Fours are mostly teachers. Fives are the starving artist group (painting, sculpting, music, minor league sports). Sixes are the labor force and where the servants, maids, construction workers and other labor forces come from. Sevens take up all the jobs no one else wants (trash pickup and other gross jobs). and Eights are homeless. The farther down the food chain you go the less money you have and the less likely your family is to get any kind of pregnancy prevention so the population gets exponentially bigger until you reach the sevens and eights where you are more likely to freeze to death in the winter or just die in general....
(You) recently received a notice stating that the oldest child of the royal family of Illéa, – a futuristic United States which We live in – Crown Prince (still looking through names) will be holding the Selection, a competition for the royal's hand and the crown. (Yo)u turn in your application (either willingly or by force from the family) and (You) get chosen for the Selection. On the trip to the palace, (you) meet some of the other competitors, make some friends and some enemies.
The initial number of competitors is 35 per young royal. Depending on how long we want this to last the royal family can be big or small and we can go though all the children (I have a large family lined up that we can pick from [14 total]). Of course most of the competitors will be NPCs and there will be tasks the competitors will be asked to accomplish and some other factors that are to be determined.
If we do more than one royal we can take turns being the prince or princess(es) involved or if (you) would rather be the competitors that's fine cause I like playing royalty. I have three sets of twins to pick from and a set of triplets if (you) would like to be a royal and a selectee at some point. If (you) are only comfortable playing one gender and the royal that is currently the main character requires you to play the gender you are not comfortable with we can switch positions (you will be free to change the royal to your liking-so long as they look related to the family [im majoring in science and genetics is a pet peeve for me when it comes to putting together families for rp-blue eyes basically, they have to have blue eyes because of who I chose for the parents]) or I can change my character's gender (I prefer playing guys but can play a girl every now and then if need be)
Most pairings or at the very least the first one has to be MxF to continue the bloodline, after the first kid though I would be ok with MxM pairings (and trying out a FxF pairing)
This is book based and I ask that all characters be original.
