Magic Eight Ball
About me:
I don't like to give up on my RP's/plots. I've had people I have written with for years with the same story line. I love injecting new drama, ideas and evolving a plot line and making it our own. I'm looking for a partner who isn't afraid to throw in a plot twist, and is willing to really create something that is our own.
That being said, I really enjoy plots that challenge us. I enjoy exploring psychological aspects of difficult situations with characters and how they impact their relationships, mental state and interpersonal struggles. I also like watching how relationships evolve as a character does.
Primarily what I enjoy is modern romance, usually grounded in realism(ish). As in, I don't need it to be 100% realistic in every aspect.
I am going to ask you for a writing sample more than likely, I've put a lot of time and energy into people who just ... aren't strong writers.
I do enjoy romance in my plots, and prefer MxF pairings. I play male and female, I'll indicate below which character
Plot Ideas
Plot 1.
I have a character I really want to try to work with that has an interesting background. I would prefer an interesting, STRONG character to compliment her, ideally with his own set of issues. At first, she is incredibly shut off, isn't incredibly trusting and seems to be a bit paranoid. The entire premise revolves around the murder of the Rossi family, a mother, father, son and daughter who were brutally murdered in their own home. I don't want to give too much of it away, but my character definitely has an involvement in the murder - but what is her involvement? Who was the Rossi family? Who is my character? And what does she seem to be on the run from?
Plot 2.
A political drama with two individuals that absolutely should not be in the spotlight together, for the sake of their careers or the career of their family members. However, they begin to develop a deeper relationship and the risks start to become greater and greater. I have a female character that works really well for this plot, but we can really make it our own.
Plot 3.
A rekindled love story. I would prefer to play the male in this scenario. My basic idea involves two characters who were in a relationship in college, in a very off and on again relationship. They eventually broke up after graduation and went their separate ways, with my character likely being a pretty big jerk about it. Years later, they come across one another again - in a completely different time and place in their lives.
Anyways, they're very ROUGH ideas, I don't want to give too much away or set too much up, as I want this to really be our ideas coming to life and for both of us to be equally invested in it. If I set up too much of a plot, I feel like it becomes 'my' story we are playing out, and I would rather it be ours.
