Seeking a Third for an Epic Roleplay
Hello everyone,
This is a unique request. I co-created a large-scale, group roleplay—an ambitious story that demands creativity, dedication, and imagination. Initially, we had a third collaborator, but they weren’t up to the challenge.
We are now looking for our third.
The Story
Long ago, the High King and Queen ruled over a land united—where sea, earth, and sky swore fealty to a single throne. But their reign faded into legend, and the realm fractured into three:
Norshire, the ocean kingdom, where hardy seafarers hunt the waves for fish and seal fur.
Terrowen, the land of rolling plains and deep forests, where farmers till the earth and hunters stalk the wilds.
[Blank], the mountain stronghold, where miners carve precious gems and metals from the stone, and warriors stand unshaken against the sky’s wrath.
For years, the kingdoms stood apart, their alliances fleeting, their rivalries deep. Yet one fateful night, three souls—one from each land—awoke from the same dream. A voice, ageless and knowing, whispered of a ruin long forgotten, a place where history still lingered: The Castle of the Lost Crown.
Drawn by forces beyond their understanding, they journeyed across the fractured lands, meeting beneath the crumbling banners of the ancient High Court.
It was there that destiny bound them. A Seer, veiled in mist and mystery, revealed their purpose: to reclaim the elements their lands had forsaken.
To Norshire’s chosen, the ocean’s call surged in their veins, bending tides and storms to their will.
Terrowen’s champion became one with the land, shaping earth and root as if nature itself obeyed her command.
And [Blank]’s heir, the child of the peaks, danced with the wind, wielding the sky’s breath as both blade and shield.
But power alone would not mend what was broken. The Seer spoke of a looming darkness, an ancient force stirring beneath the surface of the world. If the three could not master their gifts, if they could not stand together—the land, the sea, and the sky would fall into ruin.
And so they set forth, not as rulers, nor as rivals, but as a Covenant—sworn to heal a land that had long since forgotten what it meant to be whole.
What We’re Looking For
This is more than just a roleplay—it’s an expansive, long-term story that requires a third writer to take on the role of Wind. We need more than just a character; we need a creative mind willing to help shape the world we’ve envisioned.
This is an audition. We can’t accept everyone, so please don’t be discouraged if you aren’t selected (especially if we roleplay together elsewhere).
What to Expect
1. Create a Character – Yes, before being accepted. This demonstrates your dedication and ability to develop a compelling figure who fits within our world.
2. If Your Character is Approved – You’ll move to the next stage: writing a response to our pre-written prologues. These introductions will test your writing style, creativity, and ability to immerse yourself in the story.
About Your Character
• Gender: Any (this is not a romance-driven story).
• Background: You will craft their entire backstory, including their village, country, and culture—their society depends on you.
• Powers: Wind-based abilities only.
• Animal Shift: Choose wisely. After reviewing the existing characters, your choice should complement or elevate what we’ve already created. Your character can is the only one who can shift into this other animal form.
We are looking for someone who matches our energy, creativity, and passion—or better yet, pushes it even further.
If this challenge excites you, we’d love to see what you can bring to the table!
