hi everyone, i'm cody (he/him)! i'm pretty new to this site, came from gaiaonline but i am looking for role plays. if you want to know a little about me, i'm 28 years old and i work as a case manager in outpatient substance use treatment. i have no life outside of work and have a lot of free time at work as well so i'm really looking for something to occupy my time!
as far as role play related things go:
• i'm mainly interested in groups, though not entirely opposed to 1x1s with the right person... but be warned, i'm very picky when it comes to 1x1s
• i love to use face claims but i'm not really interested in art or anime face claims. i'd prefer real models, actors, etc.
• not at all interested in playing characters under 18 and i'd generally prefer to be in rps where at least most of the characters are 21+
• the above also goes for role players--i'd prefer everyone in the role play to at least be an adult
• honestly most of my characters are guys and i generally prefer to play guys but i'm open to playing all genders
• my characters are almost exclusively bi or gay and are very frequently trans as well so i'm really only interested in rps that are queer-friendly
• i strongly prefer discord for ooc chat, not opposed to other means but discord is def easiest for me.
• as far as samples go, here's a sample thread. i usually write probably around 500 words minimum but tbh i don't really want to stress too much over word counts so just know i'll write enough for you to reply to
types of rps i'm interested in:
• superheroes
• supernatural creatures
• apocalypse (zombies are fun but im ok with other types too)
• anything horror
• crime centered and/or prison
• fandom inspired: stranger things, the umbrella academy, slasher, american horror story, teen wolf, lost, the 100, sense8, freakish, far cry (i've played 3, 4, and 5), hazbin hotel, marvel, from, the last of us, dying light, invincible, the walking dead, probably others but those are the ones off the top of my head
i'm not super into slice of life settings, the exceptions to that are what's listed above, but i'm still willing to consider others as well.
i'm also not super into canon characters, whether that's me using them or just having them in a rp i'm involved in. i'm willing to consider rps that have them, just a bit reluctant to join those but definitely not totally opposed. the exception to this is marvel because honestly i would kill to do hiro hamada or peter parker
i'm not gonna lie, i'd kill for a good role play group but have a lot of anxiety and probably won't join without an invite... sooo please invite me if you're interested in role playing with me!!
