"Are you okay?" Luke asked in a worried tone after she washed the cut. He took her hand in his as he wiped her hand dry. He then took a bandage from his pocket and put it over the cut. "That should do for now. Let me handle the cutting then." He said as he took the knife from her hand and turned to the vegetables needed to be cut. Unexpectedly, he threw all of it into the air and slashed at it multiple times, cutting it up before catching it all with a bowl. "What kind of dressing do you want to use?" He asked Alexandria as if nothing unusual happened.

Alexandria blushes as he helps take care of her hand. Alexandria then looked suprised.She went to the fridge. "Um here, how did you do that?"She asks. She handed him ranch dressing to him. She cooked the meat instead and took them off. When it was ready. She made the burgers and handed him a plate." Here you can take off what ever you don't want you can take it off." Alexandria said.she grabbed some salad.and a drink from the fridge for them both and sits down.

As they began to dig into the food. Luke began to answer Alexandria's earlier question. "To answer your question, I trained in Japanese swordsmanship ever since Middle School. By the time three years of training were completed, I along with peers were expected to be able to cut apart targets in the air with a blade. We trained in a way similar to that game fruit ninja except we used bamboo instead of fruit. I guess it became second nature to cut things like that. I guess it's kind of strange isn't it?"

Alexandria nods."wow that's awesome. "Alexandria said."so why become a physics teacher?"She asked as she ate her salad slowly. He was an interesting guy.Alexandria watched him, he was single and spending time with her out of all students.Alexandria looked down and felt her face blushing. She played with her food and clears her throat. She drinks her club soda and looked over at him with a small smile.

"Well, I gotta find some way to support myself and physics is one of my better subjects." Luke replied in a somewhat carefree tone before switching to a slightly serious one. "Also, the person that saved my life was my physics teacher. Back in high school, I was about to commit suicide. That guy came up to the roof where I was and said something I never expected. 'If you're going to die, you might as well have some fun beforehand.' He then presented a challenge to me. I would face him in a combat handheld video game and if I won, I'd be allowed to go through with it but if I lost, I would not. What he said while we were playing saved me. Not just me, he did a lot for other students but in the strangest ways. He used soccer to reform a former baseball player turned delinquent, he used a fighter plane simulation to help twins, all sorts of strange things. I guess I'm just following in his footsteps. I even got the cell phone game idea from him." He then realized that he was just going on and on. "Sorry, that must have been boring to listen to." He said somewhat nervously.

Alexandria shook her head."no your more interesting then me."She says. Alexandria smiles and pushed her plate away gently. She had ate little, only ever ate half and left the rest for her parents. Alexandria sighed. "Well at least your here. Your an amazing teacher and good looking. "Alexandria stopped and looked away. She blushed. Did she really just say that out loud."sorry I didn't mean to sound like that I mean you are good looking, best looking teacher around l. Every girl has a crush on you. Including...okay this isn't helping. "She said blushing .

Luke immediately became flustered after hearing that Alexandria thought he was good looking. This time he wasn't able to hide it so well and his face was turning somewhat red. He had trouble figuring out what to say in response. He lowered his head a little out of embarrassment and said "Wow, I never knew I made that much of an impression on the first day I taught. Am I really that good looking?" He said this in a nervous and slightly unconfident tone completely different from his normal carefree and confident tone.

Alexandria nods and bites her lip."you make more of an impression now with the whole text thing. Definitely got cool points and the hot look make every girl swoon."Alexandria said her cheeks were flushed as she watched him. He was just as red as she felt. Alexandria sighed and huffed, She blew out some air."sorry I didn't mean to make you feel embarrassed or anything. "She said.

"It's fine, no harm done. I know you weren't meaning to do anything harmful or anything. I just wasn't expecting it." Luke replied good naturedly while still having a blush on his face. "To be fair, I think you are attractive as well." Did I really just say that? Luke thought to himself. Now their roles have switched with him being more embarrassed.

Alexandria blushed and looked at him."me really? "She asked. Alexandria blushed and looked down.Her hand was laying on the table and touching his.She didn't notice till now.She was suprised, but didn't pull away. She liked him and this had been a good night.

"I really thought so. You sort of got my attention from the beginning." Luke replied somewhat bashfully. He was also a bit red from the fact their hands were touching but he didn't pull away either. "Well, that part is probably because you came in late but all the same." That last part he said came from his habit of saying his thoughts out loud. "Anyway, let's finish studying before your parents get home. I bet they'd get the wrong idea if they saw me in here like this."

Alexandria shrugged. "They don't care."She said. She smiled and cleaned up. They got back to work for another few hours and she looked up."they will be home soon. I should let you go."She says. She got up to walk him to the door."see you tomorrow. "She said with a smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow then." Luke said with a smile as he walked out the door and into his car. Before he closed the door, he waved goodbye and began driving home. On the way home, Luke was trying to regain his composure after that night. I've got to get my head back to normal. He thought to himself trying to get rid of his flustered feeling.

Alexandria sighed and cleaned up. She went to bed. In the morning she woke and sighed. She dressed in a cute dress and grabbed her bag. She went down eating an apple and heading to school. Alexandria drove to school and went to her locker earlier then normal. She was right by his classroom. She looked around and knocked on the door to see if Luke was in.Alexandria waiting for an answer

"What are you doing here so early Alexandria?" Luke said coming up from behind her. He had his lesson material in one arm with a melon bun in his free hand, a bite already taken out of it. He had a slightly surprised look on his face as he was not expecting this. "School hasn't started yet. Do you have a club or something before school?"

Alexandria jumped and turned."oh um no I was wondering if we could could talk some, with out tutoring and all. Also really wanted to apologize if I made you feel at all uncomfortable last night and also thank you." She said m she was babbling like an idiot. "Sorry."She said again. Her home life sucked so she never talked this much.Alexandria sighed. "I dont like to be at home much."She said

Luke just smiled and put his hand on her head to calm her down. "You don't need to be so stiff, relax a little. And there's no need to apologize for last night, it's all good. I added to the awkward atmosphere anyway. Anyway, I'm okay with talking with you for a bit. What did you want to talk about?" He asked as took another bite out of his bun.

Alexandria sighed"sorry relaxing is hard for me. "She blushed a bit at his touch."just anything tell me what you like to do for fun."Alexandria said she played with her fingers she was really skirting around the fact she that her parents were getting a divorce and it was ugly at her house right now.

"Hmm, I like to do kendo, piano, and basketball usually in my free time." Luke replied thinking about it. "What about you, what do you like to do for fun?" He noticed that there was slight pain in Alexandra's face but decided to be a gentlemen about it and go along with the conversation rather than bring it up.

"Don't worry too much about it." Luke said giving Alexandria a smile of reassurance. "Don't be afraid to come to me if you have any worries you want to talk about, I'm here for you. It isn't wise to just hold all of it in you know. I'm speaking from experience."

Alexandria nods and sighed. "Yeah I guess. Well my parents are divorcing, there never around. I wasn't Kidding when I said I raised myself.my mom has no time for me. My dad even less time then that ."Alexandria said finally. She was frustrated all she wanted was to be recognized for her hard work, but her parents didn't even have time to scold and discipline her.

"You too huh?" Luke said in a serious tone. "My parents divorced when I was in high school and they were never really around. When they divorced, they asked my sister and I to choose who to live with. We decided to live on our own. I know how it feels to be in that situation. So what are you going to do when they divorce?"

Alexandria nods and sighed. "I dint really want to live with either. I could ask them to kick my trust fund in at 18."She said Alexandria sat on his desk."I don't know what to do. I try to throw myself into my school work, then I feel overwhelmed and want to pull my hair out."She said

"How about this then?" Luke said getting an idea. "Why don't you move into my place? I live in a three bedroom house so there'll be room. You don't have to worry about money or anything, I have a secondary job besides being a teacher so it'll be fine. I think you should save your money for college and I think it'll ease your mind about stability."
