Wayward Thinker
A little about me:
Hello! You can call me Omi. I have been roleplaying for probably around 5 years now, but I recently took about a 3 year hiatus, so looking for a literate, 18+, roleplay partner to get me back in the game. Currently, I think my replies would be around 3 paragraphs per reply, but I'm hoping to work my way back up to the level of detail I used to respond at. I normally work to match the length that my partner writes at. I prefer to roleplay in the forum (emails and other forms of communication become lost to me).
I play as all genders, races, ages, etc. depending on what the plot calls for and I'm open to playing multiple characters as needed for our story to progress. I'd like for my partner to be open to playing multiple characters too. Gore, violence, drugs, language, etc. are fine within the roleplay, but I ask that intimate scenes 'fade to black'. I am not interested in writing explicit scenes of that nature.
So... onto my plot interests:
1. In the distant future, 'others' are being sought out by the government to be 'cured'. 'Others' are people who fail to see the beauty in life, those who are prone to sadness, weak social skills, a disinterest in taking part in the community, and other maladaptive traits. Never to fear, our generous and charitable government has developed a 'cure' for others that comes in a conveniently packaged, and modestly sized pill. At least one of the main characters is deemed an 'other' and is skeptical of taking the 'cure'. Rejection of the cure is an unlawful act and persons who reject the cure will be subject to criminal charges. (action, adventure, mystery, dystopian)
2. A realistic (and healthy) version of 50 Shades of Grey. Perhaps the main character stumbles upon the kink world (underground clubs, parties, etc.) and is drawn to the exploration of self that it provides, but is also torn between the responsibilities/calls of his/her vanilla life and struggles to find balance. Is this unfamiliar world a positive leap into self-exploration, growth, and possibly even romance, or is it a deep dive into vice, mischief, and deletion of her former self? (romance, LGTBQ, realistic)
I know... I only have two plot ideas at the moment, so feel free to suggest something else. I am open to other ideas!
