Dark looked at her when she entered the mansion and breathed in deeply, smelling the blood on her clothes. He stepped forward and looked down at her. "Where have you been....." he asked her, his voice soft and intimidating. He had a feeling he knew what had happened, but he wanted her to confirm it.
 
She stepped forward and smirked at him, with a vague answer," I went out......I felt like going somewhere..." Kanta went to kiss him softly and then walked past.
 
It was that vague answer that gave it away. Dark shook his head in disbelief. "Kanta..... Did you kill someone? And if you did, what did you do with the body?" he asked her urgently, grabbing her arm as she brushed past him
 
" I threw him in the river near the park....Why? He pissed me off so I gave him what he deserved! I couldn't take feeling weak any longer....." She side glanced him and sighed sadly.
 
Dark nodded and hugged her. "I understand my dear.... I did the same thing when I was about 60. All I'm concerned about is whether you disposed of the body properly, because if the authorities find it.... Well, I'll be dead meat. That is, if they can prove it was a vampire"
 
" Actually ...I didn't do that.....I burnt his body til there was nothing left. So.....he is gone for good...No one will find him. I promise you. " She held him close and kissed his cheek softly, " I won't let anyone kill you..."
 
Dark looked at her and sighed, nuzzling her. "Why is it so difficult for me to stay annoyed at you? No matter, as long as you are safe, I am happy my dear"
 
" I'm sorry I reek of blood though.......I didn't tell you I was going out.....because I was tired of waiting...." She nuzzled his face back softly. Her lips brushed against his, kissing softly then biting it. Kanta's eyes glowed red as she opened them to stare into Dark's own.
 
"All you had to do was let me know, I wouldn't have stopped you my dear. I know how important the first feed is to a newblood" he told her before sliding his arms around her and kissing her back, nibbling softly on her lip as he stared down into her eyes.
 
She smirked at him and giggled, letting out a soft moan replying," Did you want something? I won't stop you from feeding if you have to Master Dark. Is the scent of blood too strong on me...? " Kanta kissed him again and led him out into the garden, laying in the grass with him.
 
Dark smiled and kissed her neck softly as they walked outside. "You may be a vampire my dear, but I still can't take too much blood from you. However, the scent of blood on you is extremely strong." he told her softly, holding her in his arms as they looked up at the fading stars.
 
" I don't know what came over me...It's like...a frenzy I couldn't control. It felt so good...." She cuddled into him while smirking lightly," I wanted to get rid of him. "
 
Dark ran his fingers through her hair. "I know that feeling... But you can't just drain everyone you want to get rid of. They will die eventually, and then you will be free of them. Besides, being a vampire means you don't have to see them" he said to her softly.
 
Her face nuzzled his as he stroked her hair. Kanta replied softly," I know that....But I needed human blood. I was beginning to feel sick because I hadn't had it. " She kissed him gently again, running her fingers in his hair and looked into his eyes.
 
"I know my dear, I know. " he told her softly before kissing her back, smiling slightly at her. He hadn't felt this way about anyone for many, many years.
 
Kanta pulled back and sat up looking at him still, asking," Is...something wrong? This is the first time I've seen you truly smile. " A smile made its way to her and she stroked his face again.
 
Dark frowned. "Should there be something wrong for me to smile....? No, there's nothing wrong. I'm just thinking about stuff" he told her gently, holding her cheek in his hand
 
" No...I like it....It suits my master to smile. I want you happy." She kissed his forehead and leaned hers against his, holding his hand in hers," What were you thinking about?"
 
This caught Kanta's interest as she smiled more, kissing his hand softly biting it here and there," Really? What about me, my love? " She used the other hand to stroke his lips with her fingers, catching his cheek in it.
 
Dark looked at her before closing his eyes. "Thinking about how happy you make me. I haven't felt this happy in many years" he told her softly, catching her hand in his own before lightly kissing her fingers.
 
" You make me happy.....I've not been like this since I was real young. After my mother died...everything just....went downhill. " Her eyes went sad going back to blue. Tears formed, rolling down her pale skin.
 
Dark hugged her and breathed in deeply, inhaling her scent. "I want you to be happy my dear, do not cry....." he whispered in her ear before wiping away her tears
 
Kanta nodded holding onto him and brushed her lips on his again. She couldn't help herself around Dark. He was her age (somewhat), sweet, and good looking. She couldn't have asked for anything more than to spend an eternity with someone like him. She stroked his face softly and kissed him once more," I love this....being with you...it's made me happier than anything I ever had. "
 
Dark kissed her and hugged her, breathing in her scent. "I'm glad I have made you so happy my dear...." he whispered, running his fingers through her hair.
