doh ... and yes. Look at Sharlene's character. Her swords are very real. The party wasn't on an active campus. Ratchford was abandoned long ago. So ... no security except to deny admission for bad costumes.


Really I should have said no to the costumes with no theatrical work involved. But they both had masks, hence I allowed them.


(Characters will soon learn that the costumes don't seem to want to come off.....)
 
Hmm, this is really interesting and I know I could write great posts, but I'm back in school and that could cause some issues with the frequency of my posts. (Sports, advanced classes, my time online depends on school, though if I really couldn't get to posting I'd let you know, not sure how that would work with you.)
 
If anyone wants to meet up with Julia and Alvin, they're in the library. Anyone can feel free to bump into Yulia anywhere, or perhaps you met up with her before, and use her. Hopefully we can all meet up somehow.
 
The Library would likely be a separate building. But a fast run not stopping to sight see might get you there unhindered.

They tend to hide in the shadows - literally. The shadows themselves become a wrinkle in the fabric of space - as if a small hole in the wall that a trapdoor hunting spider might use. They tend to wait for lone prey, shifting from one shadowy area to another by wrinkling in spacetime. Then they attack and try to draw their victim into the "hole".


They have more than one toxin. One is a paralytic. The other has different effects depending upon the sex of their victim. They also have an ovipositor for laying eggs. 
Fyi, the laptop sharlene and I use died this morn. On an Android and it really sick for writing 
I had tried repeatedly to plug my laptop in and kept getting no power - just battery. I tore the things apart and put it together again. same result.


Annnddd ... I got to Best Buy Geek Squad at the end of the day. They plugged it in ... and there was light. It's a miracle.


(And this is the reason I never became an electrician. Same thing happened to me in High School Physics. My lab partner was clueless - a very cute cheerleader who had clearly wanted to be my lab partner because I actually understood everything He had to build a circuit with a shunt resistor and turn on a small light bulb. Radio Shack technology, not micro anything - alligator clamps to hook it up. I ran the calculations, double checked, set it up ... and nothing. Wash, rinse, repeat - variations of checking with the instructor. Still nothing. Finally I asked her to apply the clamp ... and you guessed it, the &^%&thing lit up. That was the day I decided not to become an electrician.)

Hey guys, I'm sorry to tell you. But as you know I recently haven't been that active. This is due to some stuff IRL. I'm cutting back on the amount of Rps and I might not be doing them anymore. So sorry,b ut I can't continues this RP.
 
Just a heads up, for some reason my school's wifi blocks the actual rp thread, so I won't be able to post much during the day, I'll be participating in it thoug ASAP.
 
I'd go ahead. In my experience people SAY they will do one thing, and mostly do another.
 
LOL ... sorry. Didn't intend that to be mean. I just know that the unexpected happens all too often. Happens to me as well. Now if he was already in a conversation, etc ... I'd suggest holding up. But that wasn't the case.
 
Classrooms:


Classrooms represent what will probably be the safest places in the RP. Most monsters will NEVER enter a classroom willingly. The exceptions are: Teachers, Demons, Hellhounds.


Hellhounds will do so cautiously at best - fearful of any reprisals by Teachers. Think of their regard the the classrooms as the way a well trained dog regards the bed or couch he has been trained not to jump on - with the sort of expectation of being beaten by something a lot worse than a rolled up newspaper. For the most part hellhounds won't enter unless directed by a Demon.


Demons generally don't enter Classrooms. But they can really go anywhere they please. They are the rulers of this Realm.


Teachers are generally only found in Classrooms, Labs, or the Library - primarily the last. Like Demons they can really go where they please. But they do not rule the realm.
 
Heh ... that is mainly to help you with RPing those area - especially the monsters. Safehaven from most of the hostile critters - like those arachnid ladies.


Oh .. if a Teacher is at the Library, the arachnid ladies generally won't show themselves either.


Those brutish pink skinned guys are usually in the science and technical buildings. (I really wish we still had the Updates mod that we had made for our old RP's ... Grr. I guess I'll have to start copy and pasting these to the first post.)


Teachers and Demons are GM characters. (I may have Sharlene run some of the teachers. She has co modded with me many many times. I often have her take over some of the female charries.)


Also, the hellhounds are sapient. That is they are intelligent. They won't go winning any IQ tests. But they aren't simple beasts. They have a sense of self preservation. They are extremely tough - especially against impact. One could fall out of a plane and slam into the ground, then walk away. Or they could run THROUGH a brick wall. And ... they regenerate. They all wear spiked collars - very tough to remove.
 
I apologize for my recent inactivity. I've been somewhat busy and am trying to get my schedule together. However, I will be getting busier as the year progresses on and I won't be able to reply as much. So, I will sadly withdraw from this roleplay. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. Maybe one day, I'll sign up again. :] Feel free to do what you want with my characters, be it kill them off, mysteriously have them disappear, or use them as NPCs. Once again, sorry. It was great roleplaying with all of you!
 
I'm just going to shut this RP down. Just hasn't been enough activity.
