Just wanted to gauge an idea for a crossover I had in mind for a roleplay based around fighting games as a genre. So, the concept behind it is that the top fighters in the world have organized a school for respective disciplines, whether it's the Mishima style from Tekkken, or Chun-li's kung fu style. Every style of combat from beloved fighting games is represented at the school. Roleplayers can choose to be a newly "accepted" enrolled student or an established student with rank. Students can even adopt more than one style. (Major and Minor) There is a sponsorship system, so every student will have a respective mentor figure, which will be a legacy character from a fighting franchise like Zangief or Terry. There will be a sort of subplot for members of the student council. (the top 10 ranked student characters). Something similar to Kenichi: The Mightiest disciple if you're familiar with that series. Also...there will be factions. Roleplayers can choose to be apart of several factions which embody certain principles towards martial arts.
Dragon Faction ( acquiring power through any mean necessary, most dominant faction)
Snake Faction (operates on stealth, espionage, forbidden techniques)
Tiger Faction ( pull-up faction, reputation for being the toughest faction, enemies of Snake.)
Turtle Faction ( Yin to Dragon's Yang, mostly good natured martial artists who value life. Miyagi-do)
