Hey, sorry about that. Ive been caught up lately and its my job to accept/decline peeps. Roman got in by shorty because he is a friend. I dont actually see your oc anywhere so if you could post it again ill be sure to read it.

Partially superhuman (basic stuff, higher metabolsim, slightly more durable, slightly stronger, faster, etc) and immortal due to lineage.

Personality: To those considered strangers she can seem friendly though patronizing and goading at the same time; probably as a defense mechanism. However, once you get to know her and she opens up (as rare as it may be) she is actually a caring, thoughtful and devoted friend. Her sense of self preservation is almost absent making her more concerned with others or having a good time than her own health. It's possible her constant need for stimulation and distraction is a way of coping with her existential crisis. She's disinclined to combat but will happily engage in borderline malicious raillery and banter.

Background: Born of a maternal death, she never met her mother and saw very little of her father given his less than accommodating nature. However, her family was a very old, very wealthy coven and as a result Raven was raised on an estate, mostly by her Governess, Bernetta and Majordomo, Luca. While meaning well Luca and Bernetta weren't exactly the most qualified to raise a little girl, regardless of how extraordinary she may be in terms of circumstance. Luca himself was a Orisha, and a long time associate of the family. His presence at the estate was largely due to a pact but it can't be said he didn't enjoy the downtime. Raven's governess, Bernetta was just as peculiar. For a good portion of her life, Raven was schooled in academics and physicality by this "Vegetarian Vampire". Bernetta is a gleeful woman who liked everyone, as consequence the idea of feeding on people didn't sit well with her so she switched to donated blood bags, of which they could afford plenty. Luca and Bernetta, while being caring, couldn't fill the roles of parents and instead acted more as friends and mentors. Their inability relate to her, mostly because of their advanced age and supernatural nature, led Raven to drift into herself, having no where else to go emotionally. Though their relationship remains positive, the three rarely see eye to eye. Raven's appearance and demeanor is mostly an outward expression of her feelings of isolation early in life. Her affinity for Necromancy was noted early on and of special interest to Luca, her Majordomo and magic instructor. Her orphan status caused her to catch some grief as a child and furthered her dislike of the norm, her cambion status made her question what exactly she was meant to do with her, essential, immortality. She began drifting into more subversive company, with whom she felt to have more in common. While she did this she did manage to make friends, though very often with older and morally questionable people, of which there was no shortage. Her exposure to this fast and loud lifestyle caused her to adopt the deplorable habits she now carries and is the reason she acts old beyond her years. Since her figurative fall from grace, she is rather uninterested in schooling preferring to waste time finding ways to get out of it without consequence rather than actually paying attention. School's like a prison when all your friends graduated long before you even arrived. 


Her less than commendable behavior, even by rather liberal coven standards, and her completion of secondary education under Bernetta led her to move out of the estate and take up on the second floor of an old factory in town. 


 


Likes: music of all genres, the macabre, math sciences, poppers, big dogs, history, the underground, GHB, people who don't take life too seriously, black, 2C-B, winter, smoking, brown liquors, closed group of friends, molly, night time, nitrous, reckless behavior sold as "fun" 


Dislikes: pop culture, being out in the day too long (usually because hangovers and coming off of the party favors make her light sensitive),  prudes and prigs, overpopulated places, superficiality, those who bark but don't bite, hot weather, killjoys,  the word moist, hyper-aggressive weirdos, the fact "athlete" is considered a career 


 


Hobbies: sorcery, playing the Hang drum, singing, going to parties and concerts, bars, guitar, general debauchery. 


 


Flaws: The fact Raven is a cambion makes her sensitive to most things a demon would be and though she's immortal, her body is still pretty near human. She's addicted to more than a few substances and is prone to bouts of near mindless self indulgence. 


 


Other: Luca's accent and Bernetta's lack of a distinct one caused Raven to gain a Jamaican-like accent since, even though Luca worked across  Palo, Vodou, Santería, and Hoodoo, he was chiefly an Obeah Orisha(Loa) and wore an accent to match.

I like this, the immortality isn't possible here due to the way the plot is going and controlling life and death or necromancy is a no because it's more towards element such as fire, ice, wind, water, ECT. Change that and I shall accept thee
